Bistro Saigon

Was not very tasty and did not match the description on the menu. On the whole the meal was disappointing. Would not go again if in the area.

Great food atmosphere and pleasant staff made very welcome and not rushed between courses will be going again. A great place to take/meet friends and family.

I've been acouple of times & the food is always fantastic. I would also say the staff are very friendly & efficient at there work & i would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody to try!!

The food was brilliant with a great variety to choose from. The sharing starter was really good value and pleanty for us both. Main course again great taste and so much on and so much to eat.

Delicious food and friendly efficient servuce. Generous servings all freshly cooked. Nice atmosphere and good value.Would highly recommend. We will be returning again soon. Book in advance as very popular.

Authentic Asian food, a surprisingly good wine list, friendly and efficient staff - Bistro Saigon must be one of the best restaurants in the area.

Amazing as always, never ever disappointed when I come here! We had the mixed starters and mango chicken. Quick service, friendly staff, cant wait to come again!

Fabulous food. Great atmosphere . The staff are very attentive and really helpful. Didn't have to wait too long either. The wine is a good price too. The salt and pepper squid melts in your mouth and the rice spring rolls served cold are a firm favourite. We will be back"

The online booking service worked well. The food was good, as usual. As two middle aged ladies we would have preferred not to sit inbetween two lovely families with babies enjoying their family time!! It was a bit cramped and thoughtless as the families were worried about our teapot and we couldn't really hear ourselves speak!! There seemed a reluctance to seat us away from the melee, although we didnt ask -it is a small space and we didn't want to appear rude in front of the families. A bit of thought from the front of house staff seating anybody is all that was needed.

The food at lunch today was very fresh and tasty and was very well presented. Friendly service and lots of choice of small dishes as well as main meals.

Excellent atmosphere and service as always, the restaurant is perhaps our favorite in Ilkley. The food was brilliant the 4 of us shared dishes and they also ensured my wife receive dishes without bell peppers as she is intolerant to them. Nothing was too much trouble and we will be back soon.

Beautiful food, mixed starter was fun and incredibally tasty, I had the sea bass, with other members of our party having the pork, duck and a pho. All said it was delicious! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Our first visit here and hopefully it wont be our last. Food and service excellent, the young staff were knowledgeable about the food they were serving, very impressed.

Service was quick and polite and the food was amazing, we went for several starters as tapas and it was a fabulous idea, i will be beach that's for sure!

We arrived earlier than our booking time but this created no problem and we were shown to a table straight away. We were given our menus and offered drinks but requested that we give that order with our food order, no pressure was placed on us to choose drinks. We were able to make our choices at our own pace and any questions we raised were answered. Drinks were quickly brought after our order and we did not have long to wait before our starters were brought to us. We had ordered a platter and were clearly told which item was which. Requests for cutlery instead of chopsticks were answered without any fuss and we were able to enjoy the delicious food. Once we had finished our plates were removed and our waiter checked that everything was to our satisfaction. Our main courses arrived after not to long a wait and the food was well presented. Our waiter checked if we had had the choices before and proffered advice on the best way to eat a pancake that had been ordered, advice that was welcomed. The portions were very generous and, again, the food was delicious. We enjoyed our visit to Bistro Saigon from the point of view of service, cost and the meal itself which was of a very high standard. We would visit again in the future.

Fabulous! Wonderful food and atmosphere. First class service from our perfect waitress, we felt immediately at home and relaxed. Will be back as soon as possible.

As usual a great experience at Bistro Saigon: tasty, fresh and delicious food at vey competitive prices. Definitely a first choice for a night out. Highly recommended - although booking is a must which reflects its popularity.

having eaten here many times in the evening this was a first for lunch, Fantastic value set price lunch. Will be back and the takeaway lunch box needs trying.

Very nice authentic restaurant. The food was packed with flavour and the staff were very nice and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant and also the green curry was amazing!!!!

Very much enjoyed our visit today with beautiful food and helpful/friendly staff as always. Another very tasty meal! Particularly enjoyed the Thai basil squid starter and passion fruit/mango Eton mess!

Food was absolutely delicious but service a bit slow (long wait between courses) and we went for the Valentines Special Set Menu offer that was shown on the 'Latest News' section of their website - only to be told it was last years offer and they weren't doing one this year!! Very misleading that it was still on their website over a year later under 'Latest news'!

Went here for my birthday meal with some family. The food was execellent and the service was good. I will definitely be returning for some more of that Mango chicken!

We chose a busy night just before Christmas to make our visit. What an early Christmas present this turned out to be! Excellent friendly service from the moment we walked through the door. The restaurant has lovely warm decor, enhanced by great lighting. The food was superb. Delicious, fresh and beautifully balanced tastes and textures. It was a fabulous eating experience and all at very good prices. The staff were attentive but not fussy and smiley and engaged. All in all a great evening out and one we shall recommend to our friends. Hoping to return - very soon.

Food was incredible and the staff were really friendly and helpful with recommendations. The place is always really busy which says a lot about it. The portions they give are big as well, so is also really good value for money.

Excellent service and food. If anything the cellar room didn't have quite enough space between tables but this was the only minor criticism. Good selection of wine at price competitive with other restaurants in the area. Would go back and take friends. Recommended!

Have been going for years and its still the same amazingly good standard. Loved the mango and passionfruit mess. Fast friendly service. Hope it never changes.

Busy Saturday night. The food was interesting and spoke of genuine Vietnamese, it was quite slow to come but that wasn't a problme for us and made it a relaxing evening. Quite expensive for what it is.

Food very tasty and very good value (2 course £15). Service friendly and efficient. If I had to be very, very picky, I'd have liked a LITTLE more rice than the bowl we shared.

The food was excellent! Starter to dessert, it was divine...and even the wine, though, that may not necessarily be something they can take credit for! But all else, including their homemade hot sauce was superb.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. Always excellent food, great service and a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Plenty of food for your money as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Lovely fresh food. Three of us went and had a sharing platter which nearly filled us before the main arrived of which we had ginger chicken and both of the sea bass dishes, absolutely gorgeous. Definitely will be revisiting soon.

Lovely fresh food, great lunchtime escape. Try the fried spring rolls, to die for. Chef is very willing to adjust menu items to make sure you get exeactly what you want.

Great food. Lovely staff. Definitely going back. Only disappointment was tried to increase table booking from 4 to 5 to be told it couldnt be done as fully booked and that they would let me know if it became possible however heard nothing and arrived to find that we were sat at a table for 6 and and restaurant was not packed. However wont stop me coming again

We had a fantastic lunch, which was tasty and well presented. Both the beef and papaya and the squid starters were delicious. The pork and prawn pho was very delicately flavoured. Staff were Pleasant and helpful. We weren't drinking but they refilled our carafe of iced water without our asking.

Excellent lunch with friends. Good service. Definitely go again. Spicy,tasty food without being too hot. Very fresh crisp salad and a fairly reasonable wine list.
