The food and service is impeccable - when the bill arrives you expect to pay more, friendly laid back vibe with food to die for - what more could you ask?

Delicious food - plain decor. Waiter got order wrong and did not bring us more water as requested. Pleasant otherwise would not rush to return

Our first time here. Lovely food, nice ambience and enerally good service. One waitress appeared to have a large love bite on her neck which was slightly off-putting. Our waiter forgot our dips/sauces that should've come with our starters and only brought them when we'd nearly finished them. Having said that it was a positive experience and I would happily eat there again.

Service and quality of food excellent. Will definitely book again. Highly recommended. Please do not rush to book this Bistro as there will not be any availability for myself and family!!!!

Been to the Bistro Saigonseveral times. The food is beautiful. It's freshly cooked to order and is the best we've ever had. The staff are fabulous, friendly and personable and the atmosphere is always lovely and laid back. We enjoy every time we come and my recommendation is the Thai basil squid starter it's absolutely sublime!

Great food service great to begin with then we got forgotten towards the end shame really missed out on coffee and desert needs more mature staff

Food fantastic, service great, we were sat in a small downstairs room which got a little loud and warm otherwise it would definitely have got top marks. Will definitely be going back and hope to sit in a different area.

Excellent meal and service! Had the poached prawns and crispy noodles for starter and the duck in five spice sauce for main course. Couldn't fault a thing!

Food & wine was fab we had a really nice eve...........only -ve thing they've could have been a bit quicker getting our first drink though

Great food - possibly the best in Ilkley. Always busy. They need to think about a larger place and more staff to work it to its maximum potential, as people are being turned away!

Although the restaurant is small and in areas tight to sit it is still our favorite restaurant in Ilkley - the staff are wonderful as is the food.

Fantastic food and services as ever. This is rapidly becoming our favourite restaurant in the area. The combination starter where you select your own 5 choices is superb and the main courses are all very different and extremely tasty.

Had the poached prawns to start with followed by the sea bass with ginger and black bean. Both were absolutely delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff also. Will definitely be returning soon :)

Great food and lovely staff. Glad they are now open on Sundays too. Lunch menu is great value for money. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Ilkley.

We don't live in Ilkley but the south of England, we come a couple of times a year to visit my brother. We now always try to eat out once at bistro Saigon. The food is delicious very fresh and spicy you can taste all the different ingredients. I would recommend the starter selection platter where you select 5 different, I especially love the salt and pepper squid is so tender. I am gluten free, they are very helpful and there is lots of gf choices marked on the menu. As everything is cooked fresh they can leave ingredients out. It always seems to be busy so make sure you book. We prefer not to sit in the basement as a bit hot and noisy. Service as always was excellent.

We thought the food and service was pretty good an there was a good choice on the menu. It was easy to park nearby. We would definitely go again if in the area.

Seated in a damp smelling windowless room with over bright lighting. The food was great but service slow, will not be returning any time soon.

Bistro Saigon never fails to deliver great tasting meals, superb ambience and fantastic value for money. Been dozens of times and never been disappointed. Would recommend to anyone and frequently do.

Food was brilliant again, garlic prawns and the pancake - yummy indeed! Service was a little slow last night, took a while between starter and main course, but overall very good

A warm welcome, service and food were excellent. One of the party is a coeliac but this wasn't a problem with the menu showing plenty of gluten free options and some dishes could be adapted to be gluten free.

There is an interesting menu using fresh produce. Flavours in each dish are delicious. Staff explain the menu and are all attentive. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend Bistro Saigon.

Great Vietnamese food in ilkley - I've no hestitation in recommending this place. The fish mains are great and the mixed staters are also really tasty

The food was very good and lots of choice on menu. The staff we pleasant and helpful. They have revamped the restaurant and the layout seems a bit disjointed and there is a strange odour about the building

The food was excellent, service good and overall experience pleasant and relaxing. I would recommend the Bistro Saigon, though you need to ensure you book well in advance as it gets full pretty much all the time.

Very nice meal with fresh ingredients. The restaurant was very busy for early evening so shows that it is popular. The only downside was the noise from the tables nearby, not what you would expect for early evening, but nevertheless an enjoyable meal.

Very nice restaraunt. second visit in two weeks. Good service, interesting and varied menu with delicious dishes offered . Something special but priced to offer good value too.
