Have been here so many times in the past 4 years have had great food snd service and would always highly recommend. It’s now changed hands and to me went back over! yes it was busy yesterday but when we arrived it was quiet but disorganised to me ! we were offered our drinks while waiting a short time for the rest to join. They arrived 5 minutes after us to be asked if we’d like to order without offering a drink first ! The mains arrived, mine fish and chips no complaint but other 2 mains arrived + side order of seasonal veg. They both mentioned to me there very salty the vegetables which i tried! They were covered in salt… They were left and carried on with the rest of the meal. when asked 1/2 way through it if it was ok I brought it to there attention of the salt issue to be told they season with salt?? This should be left to the person eating discretion as you add to your taste? The server went away then came back 5 minutes later as were more than half way through to tell us he can change vegetables to little to late… Pudding’s tasteless !!! all show no taste! If i closed my eyes i’d struggle to know what I was eating, when previously they’ve been stunning! Don’t think I’d go back again or recommend it to anybody especially with current kitchen staff! so disappointed and they never knock off the super salty extra veg off bill as they weren’t eaten. Gutted as it used to be a cracking place… there loss 😔👎

Sunday lunch - we both had Turkey- hot & plenty of it. Extra bowl of veg arrived too. No complaints - everything well cooked & well presented.

Amazing Sunday Lunch. Very well cooked meat and amazing Yorkshire Puddings. Be warned though the portions are generous so consider this if you want a starter or dessert. Staff very attentive and professional.

Food was exceptional and service was excellent. Had not eaten there before and was recommend by family and not disappointed would definitely go back and recommend to anyone else
