We went on valentines so we expected it to be abit busy and noisy, but other than that the service, atmosphere and especially the food was absolutely amazing. Highly reccomend

Meal was lovely never got asked if we wanted mint or apple sauce though when food came out. Got Beef well done , it was very chewy wouldn't pick that again. Service great , lady lovely n pleasant. Lovely desserts too.

Everything was great! Good food, on the night good atmosphere, and the staff (especially our waitress) were excellent offering good advice and very friendly efficient service

Parking easy, manager on arrival excellent, ambience excellent, it was very busy, food - the best Sunday lunch. Service excellent, especially our blonde waitress.

Excellent meal in fab ambience. Emma who served us was really lovely- even gave us a mini tour of the gallery upstairs! Food was fab (fresh vegetables cooked perfectly) and generous servings. Great to be able to dine in a restaurant with character, heritage, great staff and fab food.

Food was amazing and huge portions. We had the Sunday Roast, thank goodness we didn’t have a starter!! Lots of choices of meats. Best to book in advance as. Dry busy

We had a lovely meal didn't like table we were seated at we felt quite squashed no room to move. Also didnt appreciate dogs barking nonstop while we were eating. Have dined here many times while visiting family will think twice before returning.

Had a lovely festive lunch at the Blackbird. There were 3 of us. Two had the turkey and trimmings which were plentiful. I had the beef which was so tender and tasty. Thoroughly recommend it. Susan T
