Pleased we managed to get a table at short notice would have preferred to be in the restaurant but appreciated the busy lead up to Christmas. One meal not up to usual standard but all others very good, there were 7 of us.

Staff great my husband is disabled and was assisted by staff. Been a few times now and have never been disappointed. Food is very good. Clean plates every time.

Very busy place. Had to ask for a glass to be served with a bottle. Sunday lunch was served quickly. Food was plentiful. Pork and turkey were tastier than the beef, vegetables tender. Tables were cleaned as soon as vacated. Friendly staff, catered well with family parties.

We had the Turkey dinner all very nice But was the Turkey cooked today -,it was a bit dry Texture as if it had been reheated.

The service was prompt and very friendly . The food was good and reasonable value for money Our group of 4 had an enjoyable time .

Close to airport , great venue for a meal especially early evening when the airport is dead!

Too much food did not like the way vege was served. Not enough gravy would prefer it served in gravy boat. But overall food was good

We were late . . . . Rang the restaurant, and they were great. Very accommodating, despite it being our fault. Food is very good, especially with a gluten free menu with plenty of choice. And that's why we go back to the Blackbird.

Food and service excellent as always but the pub was cold and the table we were sat at (13 in the bar) was very drafty.

Quantity over quality. Poor service. Staff were rushed and inattentive. We’ve cancelled our booking for Christmas after this last meal and booked somewhere else.

Food generally not as good as previous. Vegetables undercooked. Cauliflower cheese hard, with very little cheese. ( ordered two - only got one) Turkey not tender.
