Everything perfect even if informal. Good fresh italian food with good and rich menu as you can find in .italy. Location perfect in the City center close to the best shopping area.

Sat in the corner. Very hard to get in and out without annoying guests sitting next us. Nice food. Awful service. Reception girls were lovely.

Great staff and great service. Food was amazing, first quality italian food with top food brands available. Staff was friendly and nice, patient and friendly. Very nice experience overall.

We had a very enjoyable Friday evening at Bocconcino. Nice atmosphere, food was excellent and staff attentive without being intrusive. Starters were appropriately portioned, the tagliatelle with wild boar ragu and the deep fried calamari deserving a special mention. One of my sons had the Fassona steak which he insisted I had to try and I must say it was cooked to perfection. One of my other sons had the tomahawk steak which was not only huge but tasted good too. Two of our guests had pizzas which looked and tasted delicious, my wife's seabass got a thumbsup and the veal Milanese I had was spot on :-) Desserts were good, especially the pizza dolce and the millefoglie. All in all a very pleasant experience - thank you Bocconcino !

Nice restaurant on the whole, ambience and decor.. my families meals came first while I waited for about 7 mins or so for mine.. food was not bad but not exceptional.. reception staff could have been friendlier and more welcoming, our waiter however was friendly and genuine.

Excellent service that was well-paced, and excellent food. Tables were also well spaced, so a good venue for business lunches as well as private occasions.

Best service, waiter was very friendly and always there when needed. Provided many options and great for vegetarians. Highly recommended best Italian in London area.

Great authentic Italian restaurant, fabulous food and what looked like great homemade pizza too. Slightly on the expensive side, but it is in the heart of Mayfair!

Tasty and delicious meal. The very good choice in menu. Excellent and quick service.I asked my meal to be unsalted - was done. Beautiful interior and atmosphere. Experienced welcoming and friendly staff. Really very good restaurant. Diserves the highest rate.

Fabulous food, drinks, service, ambiance. Our wine was corked, and sommellier agreed, and as way of apologising, offered a bottle on him. Excellent. No arguing, no poor service after. Wonderful experience

Service was excellent, food was delicious! Drinks very expensive (or so I thought) but we are not from London so not used to those sorts of prices! Also would normally only tip 10% but they add a 12.5% compulsory charge to the bill. Lovely atmosphere.

Expensive pizza but ok as Mayfair. Otherwise it is a beautiful restaurant with knowledgeable staff. This is a good place to go with with colleagues.

The staff are friendly and very helpful and the food is good but our experience from our first time was very different we dressed nicely for what we thought was a pleasant evening (8.30pm) but we were surrounded by children, people who wouldn't take of all things hats and coats off and worst of all someone who just strolled in wearing gym shorts...but he had a jacket. OK call me a prude and maybe I need to change with the world (little chance) but you know this is what also makes a good restaurant into an excellent restaurant...dress code !!

The food was excellent, and I couldn't fault the service or the venue. Although a little pricey, we were in Mayfair so to be expected.

The restaurant is set in a basement so there are no window seats. The chairs are very low. The best tables are set for a group of people but not for two. Despite of all above the food was tasty, good choice of wines. And the service is relatively fast.

Fantastic atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, delicious cocktails food ( the best olives ever, primavera risotto delicious and generous portion) Staff friendly and welcoming. Just one small misunderstanding ( remedied) hence not a 6.

Good food, great wine selection. The restaurant itself was absolutely beautiful. Room for improvement on service as I did not receive a check back but would definitely recommend. All staff very friendly and happy to offer advice with good knowledge of the menu.

Service was great, food was great! I recommend the veal Milanese, that was bigger than my face! And for dessert the profiteroles! The pizzas are also amazing!!

The food was made and presented. The service was good and the waiters very professional and friendly. A little noisy so not easy conversation was a little strained across the table.

Great food, good atmosphere, however, service was a little slow at times and waiters had to be prompted and reminded a couple of times in order to clear the table.

Food was very good - classic Italian fare, lots of fresh and vibrant ingredients. Shame the service was not as fresh and vibrant. Also, the coffee machine was out of order, so we were unable to finish the meal in the classic Italian fashion.

The service was exceptional. Italian food done the right way - simple, fresh and delicious! I would come back again. Decor is contemporary and simple with an easy, casual atmosphere.

Boccocino was everything I expected from a high-end Italian restaurant - super friendly Italian staff, great food and great service. Although pricey I don't mind paying for great service and food so our experience was first class. We hope to return.

Staff were amazing. Food was amazing and venue was amazing. If I visit Mayfair again I will definitely be visiting this restaurant again. Fabulous place

The service was excellent. The food was great. People were wonderful when you walked in the door. Just an excellent restaurant We loved it It is a great place to have a meal.

Friendly reception staff and waiters were attentive but not intrusive. Food very well presented and good size portions. Excellent wine list. The only criticism would be that there was only one toilet( disabled) in the upstairs dining area which would be difficult for people with problems to access as there wasn't a lift that I could see. However, despite this, would recommend.

The service wasn't the best considering the rating of the restaurant and being in heart of mayfair. It was difficult to get staff attention and they seemed in a rush to get us to leave the restaurant even though the restaurant was empty and it was only 8pm! Also the staff at reception couldn't find the booking even after showing the confirmation email and considering the restaurant was so empty so didn't see what the big deal was anyway. The food was decent but nothing special, i think we had just expected better quality of food. Also me and my friends are vegetarian and there were no V markings on menu - which really helps.

Nice restaurant, good, expensive italian food. Not sure why we were sat at the back and not downstairs...no one asked us for preference. Good for business lunch

Great pizza. Delicious steak. The spinach was also excellent. Great location and good service. Better than the other Russian owned Italian Novikov across the road.

This restaurant has the most amazing food and the pizza is to die for. They have such a big choice on menu and everything you order tastes nice.The service is amazing but prices are high but worth every penny

I was first brought the wrong starter,then had to wait for my main course while the rest of the party had theirs.My daughter was brought a latte instead of the flat white she requested.We speak Italian had heard one of the waiters say "oh it doesn't matter".Also we had a table just outside the kitchen so I had several knocks from staff leaving and entering.However the food was delicious and the staff on the wholecharming so we will be back,hoping for better service next time.

Food average and staff not very friendly. Felt like we where a problem to the waiter allocated to our table. Probably wouldn't return. Lovely setting inside though!

No flavour to the main crab pasta and very basic profiteroles. So overall disappointed with the quality of food. The restaurant itself is very beautiful.
