If you can you have to go on a Sunday and and have the Sunday roast fondue, the beef was so tender and the gravy very tasty. Oh and the beer selection is awesome.

You won't beat this In Manchester for a lovely Sunday dinner!!! Hard to book as it's so popular but worth the wait. 8 hour slow cooked beef and Yorkshire pudding waffles with your own vat of dip in gravey is truly amazing. House white wine was good too. £45 pound including starter, Sunday roast and wine you can't go wrong. Castlefield resident

Really enjoyed the pizza fondue. Some of the toppings were better than others. Nice venue. A little dark and quiet for a Saturday eve but didn't detract from the experience. Would recommend and will be back to try the roast!

Considering the restaurant was not busy service was not great. Ordered the roast fondue and food was on the cold side and it was the gravy which warmed it. It was ok for a novelty dinner.

They had a vast selection of Belgian beer and some of it was even on tap. We ordered the cheese fondue which was very good and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and waiting times were short.

My wife and I were greeted by friendly staff who gave us a nice table downstairs. We were unsure whether to have the Cheese Fondue or the Carbonade Flamande but as we had had the cheese fondue before we opted for the Carbonade - which was really good. This was a kind of beef stew with lovely succulent braised beef, potatoes, carrots and onions which we had accompanied by a lovely bottle of Malbec. We chose Café Liegeois to share for dessert, which was delicious but we were glad we shared as this was a little rich!

Great tasting food and beer, with friendly, efficient service. The fondues were delicious, both savoury and sweet. I particularly enjoyed the Yorkshire pudding waffles, but the chocolate fondue was absolutely scrumptious. The wide variety of beers on offer could suit everyone’s palates. We shall be going again... soon! X

We had the Sunday roast fundue which was unfortunately a little lackluster, it looked like a lot of food but we were both still really hungry after we finished. At £25 for both of us, you could get a fairly substantial Sunday lunch elsewhere for £12.50 each. The waffle dessert made up for it, as that was absolutely delicious. All the staff were really friendly! I'd go back to try something else but definitely not on a Sunday.

Been to Bock a few times but not in the last few months as it's been difficult to get a table on the day we required, however, I managed to book a table for 2 on Easter Sunday, we ordered the usual 'Sunday Roast Fondue' the price has increased by £5 so is now £25 for 2 people which is still very good, but, when the food arrived we noticed that the portion size has considerably reduced from the previous visits & the extra food you used to get was now on the menu as chargeable even more gravy was extra... we were quite disappointed, in the past we have left with full stomachs, but, it seems success has taken over, I used to praise this place & tell anyone who would listen as to how good it is, but, I won't be doing that any longer.

I went with my husband for the pizza fondu. £30 for two people. Food tasted wonderful, but very disappointed with portion size. Also there were items missing on the platter that were mentioned on the menu. Taking into account the price for this fondu and the price for the Sunday roast fondu, which we have had in the past, the roast is far better value for money. We both agreed that we wouldn’t have the pizza fondu again. We felt that the price should have been £20 for 2 people.

Service was very patchy, had to wait a little too long after being seated for the menus, then again, waited so much that we were able to order drinks and food together. I had walk down and order more drinks myself and ask for the dessert menu as we had been sat with our empty plates for about 15 mins too long. Food was good, but you could tell it was getting towards the end of service. Had high hopes, at least the gin and beer was good!!

We ordered 4 roast dinners, and both the Chicken one’s were extremely undercooked, bleeding and slimey. The manager confirmed this on inspection of the meat although was not to apologetic!
