Bolton's Restaurant

I was told that this was a great restaurant.....but it was even better than my expectations. Everything was wonderful. I thought the Dover sole was going to be hard to beat....but the pepper steak did!

Food was good but a bit overly priced. I was asked if I would like some vegetables at the side of my meal and I chose broccoli out of the few types of vegetables there was and I was given one and a half florets. Not impressed when I look at the bill. They charged £3 for the broccoli and on top of that there was also a cover charge of £2.50 for booking the table. When I booked the table online, I requested in the special request box for a small birthday surprise arrangement for the birthday person I was having lunch with but nothing was arranged. Very disappointed!

Absolutely first class. The best food in the City but A1 service also. This is the best Italian restaurant in the City of Londo by a long way.

Not the cheapest restaurant of this type but it is a popular place with a regular client base - you are always welcomed and food is rarely disappointing

food was very good - service a little rushed with vegetables dolloped rather than placed on plate. Couldn't fault the food quality so basically a good experience

Quality food and superb service as always. This place is a class joint and provides consistent, and excellent standards. Forget Pizza Express, go to Boltons

Very disappointed. Been here many times before but they obviously have a new chef who has no idea what ingredients are in a beef stroganoff and had possibly confused it with goulash.

It's been a while since I went to Bolton's but happy to see that nothing (absolutely nothing) has changed - great food, great service (attentive but not bothersome) and tables far enough apart to be able to hold a conversation but close enough to create a lively atmosphere.

This was our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed. Personal service by the Roberto's was excellent. We will go again in the New Year. Thanks to all.

Really lovely restaurant. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and the food was outstanding (the saltimbocca in particular was amazing). I will definitely return.

Simple food, but of good quality and well cooked coupled with good service - although the restaurant is a little dated (unchanged since the early 1990's).

Boltons is by far the best restaurant in the City. The service and food are both exceptional and in incredible surroundings. I have worked in the City for 30 years and never found a restaurant that even comes close, if you haven't been yet then what are you waiting for...

Excellent service. Even at peak lunch time. Food came out quick as well.... And tasted amazing. A real authentic Italian with Italian waiters and chefs. A Must go!

Great as usual! Service was friendly, although a little slow at times. Food was excellent and perfect in the size of the portions - would definitely recommend!

Very pleasant. Friendly staff, very good food along with excellent service. Pleasant atmosphere. Excellent menu and a good selection of wines. Reasonably priced for the City too.

Always great service and a friendly atmosphere with good food but the cost is creeping up per head so value for money is becoming an issue.

Great restaurant. Have eaten here many times. It never disappoints. Why do I have to post twenty five words to express my opinion? It's very annoying and sets up a situation where I will never provide a rating again!
