Bombay Quay

Bombay Quay never disappoints. Had a Gin & Tonic in the bar next door and turned up at 1915. Service is always efficient but not pushy, friendly and not false. A top Indian with some great dishes on top of the traditional.

Our meal was stunning, however the main course took 40 minutes to arrive after we had finished our starters, the service could have been better, our visit was on Friday 3rd August, the restaurant was very busy with large parties, maybe more staff are required.

A superb restaurant with impressive views over the quay. The food is very good with a varied menu. Not the usual menu. Recommended. Ask for a window table.

Prompt service great food excellent range enjoyable experience, from entering the door we were made to feel welcome staff polite and never in your face.

Food, service, ambience all excellent. It got very busy but with plenty of staff on duty nobody had to wait too long to be served.

Warm welcome & goodbye. Food is fresh, colourful, different to other places. Genourous portions, lovely riverside location, plenty of free parking spaces right outside. Very clean, fabulous.

Bad service, they charged for bottle of tap water. Food served in breakfast bowls after we paid the bill and we were chatting waiter came along looked at 5 pound tip left on the table and he just took it . Rice was served cold

We were greeted and name taken for our booking. A bar tab was opened for us and a drinks order taken as there was a delay for our table. As soon as it was ready they came and took our drinks and took us to the table. As always the food was lovely and the service friendly and attentive. Lovely to see somewhere full in the restaurant and also a roaring trade on takeaways.

Yet again, fantastic food, helpful and interested staff and a lovely pleasant etmosphere. The kids even beg to go to Bombay Quay whenever we are in Northwich. Perfect!

Chose here as had heard about it when we was at Bombay 8 in Warrington and thought we’d have a drive out. Not disappointed. Great food, great service, great location. Restaurant has a lovely atmosphere.

The food was absolutely deliocious, the only think that kept me from giving this a 6 was because the customer service was very poor. The waiters were not friendly, did not once smile or made you feel welcome.

Although the food was great and I was with great company I feel the restaurant took advantage of the situation ( a group of girls drinking) and over charged us the bill was very cleverly done it was not itemized so we couldn't see what we were paying for we were over charged by a third of The bill in total £60 when questioned the waiter said oops think he might need to resit his maths and then apologised we did get a couple of bottles free from them in the end however if I hadn't already booked again with another group of friends then I am sorry I wouldn't be going again

Absolutely Fabulous ! We had a great meal, lots of beautifully prepared, tasty dishes and the service was amazing. The staff even remembered Granny from when we took her for her birthday on April and made a real fuss over her! We had the party menu at £20 per head and there was so much lovely food we came away totally stuffed! Great value. Its the Only indian restaurant for us!

This is the second time we have visited this restaurant within a month. The food is delicious and freshly prepared. The staff are friendly and attentive. It is in a nice location on the quayside with tables to have a drink outside in the nice weather. A great dining experience. We will be back soon.

Overall all our four meals were very good and we were very pleased. The only reason we did not give six was because the side order of chips were not very hot but the staff soon rectified the problem. We will be back to dine there again.

Very good. It was a birthday celebration and they treated us very well. The food was delicious and the waiter was excellent. He did tell me his name was super mario but I suspect that wasn’t true.

Very nice food, the staff were available all the time if you needed anything, the onion bahjis were delicious, We had a lovely evening, hope to return one day.

Food was ok but we went for a relaxing meal and was far from this we had starters and before we had finished the main meal was brought to us . It was busy and all they were interested in was getting the next people seated won’t be going back

well it was Fathers day so very busy, service was good but a little slow, food was still very good, but not quite as good as usual, considering how busy it was though excellent overall.

Food was excellent as always. It was Fathers Day so very busy but still good service just a bit slower than usual which we expected so not complaining . Only thing which we didn't like was the loud music obviously turned up higher due to the noise from the diners but overall noise was too much we couldn't hear our own conversation.

Good experience as usual however we were overcharged when it came to the bill. They had overcharged us by £10. Might not return in a hurry now.

We had an absolutely lovely night at Bombay Quay, amazing food, fantastic service and reasonably priced aswell. I would highly recommend going to eat here. I'm looking forward to my next visit already!
