Bombay Quay

Another visit to Bombay Quay and as always service was great, staff friendly and the food lovely - We always select from the house specials and recommendations and have always enjoyed the food. Whilst the restaurant was very busy the staff still gave us plenty of attention and service was efficient. Top marks!

Booking efficient, food good, staff outstanding and additionally a complimentary drink - amazing!!! Will go again and again. Also, visit Bombay 8 Warrington where the wine prices are extremely reasonable - Bombay Quay wine price fair but £2 dearer than Bombay 8. However, we still still continue to go to both.

Not a great experience. Orders were wrong, found hair in multiple dishes and the waiter was argumentative and rude when blaming mistakes on his coworker. Asked to speak to the manager and he never turned up. Would not recommend. Worst dining experience we have ever had.

Not catered for vegetarians, specially prepared vegetarian food was excellent. Relaxed Ambience in the restaurant was very good and staffs were excellent. I will goo again very soon.

We would definitely recommend to anyone. Great service and the food was great. They took the time to help my friend choose something of the menu as he had a milk allergy.

Fantastic food and lovely friendly, helpful staff, would definitely recommend this place, their vegetarian choice is really varied and they helped my friend with a severe nut allergy make her choice

We had a fantastic meal, the food was delicious and easily as good as anything we have had anywhere before, the service was also excellent and great views of the river too! Will definitely be back.

We had a party of 10. Food was good and we were looked after very well. Restaurant is very pleasant and in a good location.

Had to wait almost an hour past our booked time to be seated. Very poor service once seated. Appeared as if the waiter was overwhelmed with tables and didn't even make eyes contact when taking our order. When the food arrived there was no polite 'enjoy your meal' he simply barked the food item names, placed then down and moved on to another task. To add to the disappointment the bar ran out of kingfisher on tap. In defence of the staff, I've never seen so many people left in the waiting area for so long. It seemed that the staff were told to never turn someone away. If so, I believe that policy is to blame for most of my concerns.

Absolutely brilliant. Atmosphere great. Food very tasty, lots of different new dishes to try. Staff extremely helpful polite and friendly! couldn't recommend it more - will be back!

Saturday evening and busy but the staff could cope with it all. Good atmosphere, good food, good portions. Nice setting by the marina with Waitrose car parking.

An excellent visit to the Bombay Quay. Service was very friendly and efficient. The food was enjoyed by everyone in family. Seemed to have rearranged the seating since last visit to give more personal space and less noise.

The service here can’t be beaten, staff will open doors for you, pull chairs out for you, nothing is too much trouble. The food is extremely tasty, generous portions and very reasonably priced. Nice choice of drinks too.

The food is not your standard Indian, lots of specials and lots of fish, too. The staff are very friendly and attentive, they engage with you, although this can be a bit 'familiar' so don't go there for a quiet evening! Great place for a celebration!

the food is nice but I was annoyed by the waiter who was trying to be the star of the show at our Mother’s Day treat for my Mum. Waiters should be seen and not heard, or is that children!

We went for mothers day yesterday, the food was delicious, we sat near the window which was great for the children watching the boats and ducks too, atmosphere very nice and the staff were excellent, we didn't wait long for our food at all considering they were busy, nothing was too much trouble for the staff either, we'll definitely be going back again soon.

Fantastic food, beautiful place and a great atmosphere. The only thing that lets Bombay Quay down is you know you are against the clock from the second you sit down - the waiters are geared to rush you through for the next covers.

Food was great but we were 25 minutes late being seated and had to wait by the door. People who walked in after us were seated before us too. I know that they were incredibly busy but it did mean that we had to rush our food before heading on elsewhere.

It was good although the set menu meant that you had to eat more that ideally I would have wished. I have been on other occasions and the food has always been excellent.

The food last night was fantastic. It was very busy as to be expected, one of the staff offered us a free bottle of wine as he said he felt bad our table was too close to the next one. We didn't mind though. Service was brilliant

Very nice place, attentive service, good food and nice atmosphere. Reception from arrival to seating at table was done within 10 minutes of arrival and considering it was a busy Saturday everything went smoothly.

Great food and service from the staff as usual, and the table decorated for the birthday boy with a complimentary cocktail. Can definitely recommend a visit.

Wonderful experience in this restaurant with good food and friendly staff who suggested some good dishes to taste during our dinner. Well Done and keep it up!
