visited with my grandson. we had a good evening, lovely surroundings, great meal and good service. i had sea bass which was excellent. we will be booking another visit very soon.
Excellent food, service and surroundings. First visit with our 2 year old and she loved every minute. Chicken korma, madras and garlic chicken were amazing.
Great food and service. Nice setting. Would have liked some vegan options as well as vegetarian. Overall a good experience and will no doubt visit again.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and the food was excellent. The restuarant was the highest quality and it was very easy to park our car.
Really nice atmosphere, the food was very tasty. We have had takeaway previously, first time sitting down for meal. Would recommend and def go again.
Nice place with a good position on the river. Food very good with a wide choice. Food service very good but the drinks service needs sorting out long delay in getting the first drink. Drinks did seem a bit expensive Overall we had a great evening
Food was really good. Waiting staff were charming and very helpful. However we got the impression that they were trying to get us in and out as fast as possible.
Slow service, but reasonable price. Food quality and taste is not great, but probably better than many in the area. Not sure if I will go there again.
Lovely meal, great service, & friendly staff, room is decorated to perfection, didn't have to wait too long even though it was busy i will be visiting again soon.
Best Indian restaurant ever. Great food and fantastic service. Excellent extensive menu and at £15 a head it was also good value. Well done and keep up the good work.
Lovely new place, Staff were brilliant. The food was fresh and tasty, would have liked hotter but will ask for hotter next time so easily fixed. Really good and we'll be back.
It would be better to have one waiter rather than lots of different ones repeating questions already asked. Food excellent . Third visit and quality is consistent
Food and service excellent, especially given it was very busy. Only downside was that it was a bit noisy. The first few times we have been have been on quieter nights, and we will favour those in future.
Exceptional food, really well cooked and friendly staff combined to make a nice night out. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Also, the curries come in a natural heat that is sufficient to enjoy, none of this "wimpy until you convince them it's hot" rubbish.
Great atmosphere and excellent service. Fantastic variety and choice of food which was delicious. We Will definitely be going back. Great new addition to Northwich.
A Friday night at Bombay Quay is very busy. Our table had been booked for 7.30pm but we didn't get seated until 7.50pm, and the waiting area was packed. Once sat down the service was good as usual - fascinating to see 4 waiters lay the table in about a minute! The food was excellent, It can't be faulted. Obviously on a busy evening it can be pretty noisy, and the repeated birthday music and song did interrupt our conversations several times, but all in all we had a fab meal. Such a joy to have a quality restaurant here in Northwich - finally! No question in our minds that they should expand into the empty space next door - they would easily fill it.
Really tasty food - freshly cooked. The tandoori mixed grill was juicy and flavoursome. The service was good too, polite and friendly but not intrusive. We will definitely return.
Had been trying to book a table for weeks so was looking forward to finally going.Great atmosphere. Excellent food and friendly staff. Can't wait to go again.
Could not rate highly enough the service received. The whole meal was excellent. Best naan bread ever. We will definitely return again to Bombay Quay.
The food was excellent could not be faltered. Went there to celebrate my two daughters birthdays and there were no complaints from any of the six that attended.
Lovely experience again, this time for a 21st. waiter was very attentive and we'll mannered, he couldn't do enough for us. food lovely, hot and fresh. Can't fault. thank-you
Fantastic food and great service will definitely be going back for more, very attentive waiting on staff nothing too much trouble, generous portions of gorgeous food.
Spot on again. Fast becoming my favourite Indian restaurant in the area. Service with a smile and food that is just perfect. Keep it up !!!!!
Well presented food but the Chicken Balti had very little taste, staff very polite and drinks were a reasonable price, good for parking especially as one of our party was on cruches.
food and service brilliant, but far too many tables and customers crammed into the space! it was too noisy to have a conversation with the person sitting next to me, couldn't wait to leave.
The food was lovely! Lovely atmosphere, the staff were friendly and helpful, great with our children! The kids opted for fish fingers and chips because they had decided they didn't like curry that night. Well they ate every mouthful, and the portion was big! We didn't feel rushed through the meal, but service wasn't slow despite the restaurant being so busy. I can't wait to go again!
Great food, great service. A little noisy but it was Saturday night! Will return asap to continue exploring the menu. Very welcome addition to Northwich's otherwise poor restaurant offer.
Myself and 5 other friends had an excellent experience here last night for the first time, i would definatley advise to book table in advance like we did and will definatley return. We enjoyed the meal, we even went all out and had poppadoms, starters, mains, naan breads and pudding we enjoyed course after course. I can't say was a 6 because we asked for a jug of water for the table not only once or twice but 4 times.. then we asked the bill first time then another 2 times.. but overall enjoyed it. Thank you :) x x
The food and staff were excellent. A touch on the expensive side and the service felt a bit rushed but overall a really nice meal.
Incredibly busy and a wait for a table despite pre-booking. However, a really enjoyable meal and very large portions. Only order the onion bhaji starter if you're absolutely ravenous - they serve up two tennis ball size bhajis which we were informed are the largest in Cheshire and Manchester! Looking around, it seemed others were also surprised at the portion sizes as they also left a fair amount of their mains untouched. Overall, very good value for money (we spent a shade over £20 per head including drinks and were absolutely stuffed and struggled to walk back to the car)! Northwich has been crying out for a restaurant like this for long time.
Lovely location and friendly staff. Fresh and tasty food with some original recipes I've not tried before! Was busy even just after Christmas so glad I booked a table
It was our first time in this restaurant. Good service and food. Restaurant very full for a Thursday night. Will definitely be returning and take friends.
Great staff and food. Very busy so had to wait for our table even with booking so I would recommend arriving early. Overall a great night and would definitely go again.
Food and service were both fantastic. The lamb chop starter was one of the best things I've ever eaten! The only downside was the restawas absolutely packed and noisy with the tables very closely packed. I guess I'm just getting old :-). Would definitely recommend Bombay Quay
Great atmosphere, great staff, great service & great food! Reason i couldn't give a 6 - solely because it felt like our table was in the middle of the main walkway to the toilets, bar & kitchen - very loud and people constantly knocking the table... Definitely returning!
Excellent food & service! Very good value for money, would highly recommend. All meals were plentiful & tasty, We're looking forward to our next visit.
Really great place. Food lovely. Ambiance, nailed. Service, slick. Staff, fantastic. Overall - - - - - - - - - - - ace :)
great outlook from the restaurant, particularly at christmas time. the service was good and the staff friendly. most of the party thought their meal was good. one member thought his vindaloo was ok but not the best in the area.
Excellent food and great service, doesn't get a 6 because we felt they were a little over keen to clear the plates away as soon as we put our knife and fork down..
Excellent service. Lovely location, great food and lots of it. Nothing to complain about . Would highly recommend . Would definitely go again . .
Very very good..will go back again lovly place great food..very very helpful staff..help you as much as they can..10 out of 10..go see for your self
Great food and exceptional service. Perfect atmosphere if slightly noisy. The Chicken Afghan was hot but not excessively so. Popadoms and vegetable platter made a good stater.
It was a lovely meal, the onion bar jays were fantastic, my lamb rojan was very good, beer good, atmosphere was also good, great meal
Excellent food, staff consistency was spot on. Will definitely be attending again. Plenty of choice on the menu also, and a great location overlooking the view.
Just Brilliant! Have been twice and both Excellent. Good food & Excellent Service! Would definitely recommend, staff are fast and friendly. Great atmosphere and look forward to the next.
Really busy so our table of 8 felt a bit squidged. All a bit hectic but the waiters were lovely and the food was very good. The final bill was a pleasant surprise too. Definitely return trip needed!
Fantastic food and service, just a shame we had to wait over an hour for our table!
Parking and location was spot on .table was 15 mins late but staff were very friendly and offered us a table near bar .Service and food was excellent. Would definitely eat there again
The food was excellent and reasonably priced, I did book on line and very glad I did. The restaurant was packed. We waited 20 mins past the booking time to be seated, service was slow from the kitchen due to every table being taken, date 28th Dec. We were updated by the restaurant staff and they did apologise for the wait and offer a free drink as well. I was very hungry and the wait for main course a bit long, I would certainly visit again the food and cleanliness of the restaurant and rest room 10/10. Speed of service was my only gripe but I'm putting that down to the time of year and the fact the place was on maximum capacity with people waiting. I have said I would definitely come again perhaps a little earlier if at a very busy time of year.
Food quality very good, plenty of staff on hand however some still have unpolished customer service techniques. Not impressed with a set price menu only available because it was Xmas eve??
