Boteco Do Brasil - Glasgow

Excellent food. Excellent atmosphere. Excellent service. Great night had by all 11 of us. Brazilian band even started playing towards the end of the night.

Very good atmosphere. Service was very quick. Food was delicious. We ordered a mixed grill and two tapas dishes to share for a starter. We finished everything.

Tried Boteco Do Brasil for the first time. There was a great atmosphere, speedy service and delicious caipirinha's. Also on a Tuesday all tapas are just £3, which was great.

Great food and great service , we were looked after from the moment we arrived food was tremendous with a great selection of authentic dishes

Had a great lunch here. Food was great, staff were great and the ambience was spot on!! Just remember, check your receipt prior to leaving a tip......they automatically add 10% at the register.

First impressions not great especially the sticky tables however good food and live entertainment lead to an enjoyable evening. We had main dishes which were good but the tapas looked even better!

Underwhelming, sadly. They know that cocktails are the most popular choices among women so they came up with a misleading pricing so we ended up paying about 40% more than we thought we would. Also, come on, this is Europe, not the USA. Built in gratitude? Really? We are anything but grateful for this experience. The cuisine was a bit like when a noob cook tries to make Easter European dishes and the music was well, ok, but defo not Brazilian enough. We left quite disappointed. All in all, this is no more than 2 stars.

Booking was easy, food, drinks and vibe were outstanding. It was the perfect place to meet up with our Swedish friends and the service was excellent!

Busy, bustling, informal, great atmosphere. Food was delicious, staff very pleasant. The young people I was with loved it but for me (a mature person!) It was a bit noisy initislly, but i got usdd to it!

Even though we booked a table when we arrived we were flung onto a table, no welcome. Had to request drinks and wait ages to be asked for our order, when meal arrived table was not set, given wrong starter. Disappointed in general as this was a meal for which vouchers were purchased and given to us for a wedding present to allow us to go out for a meal afterwards to relax....did not feel that way. Will not be back

Food not good. Greasy, cold, potatoes tasteless. Drinks are good though, cocktails lovely and decent sizes and reasonable prices! Will be back for drinks only

Fantastic. I go once a week and never been disappointed. Food is amazing and cocktails as well. The girls that works there are very good looking and also know how to make a costumer happy and welcome.

Food, Drinks and service all wonderful! Always love this wee place in Glasgow for some casual food and drinks, of course I will be back!

Not good food all our food was cold and one of our party’s food was forgotten!! Very very expensive for what we got we won’t be back

We got a table with a great view on the champions league final and the staff was very accomodating

It was a great experience. That atmosphere is great, the band were awesome! The meal order was somehow overpriced to the amount of food included. Other than that, I enjoyed every thing therI’ve.

great food lovely staff, toilets need a wee bit of work and are looking tired, great place good music. a few guys in with too much to drink but not Boteco fault and security kept an eye on them

Cocktails were great and the food was amazing. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Had such a great experience I have now booked to have my birthday party there.

We spent about 2 hours in a pleasant environment, great meal and very friendly staff ready to help. We had ordered Feijoada and Picanha na Chapa and for the desert Brigadeiro and Torta do Chef. Beautiful. We felt stuffed, even we had no starter.

Good food and cocktails. Service was fast but it took some time to get the attention of anyone when we did require another drink or the bill

Absolutely superb food & first class service. I’m not a great meat eater so thought I’d be limited in choice. This was absolutely not the case, great choice of seafood which was just perfect. I would highly recommend & will definitely return. Cocktails were also yummy!

I had a really good experience. We ordered a few tapas which were all amazing! Then the beef with fries which was far too salty. Drinks were fantastic. Staff were nice. Entertainment brilliant. I will be back! X

We thoroughly enjoyed the music and atmosphere in Boteco Do Brazil and they had very exciting food choices in the restaurant and very attentive staff. I had hoped the band would be beside the restaurant area though.

I loved the time I had with my friends at Boteco. Lively atmosphere!! Great food and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend. My go to place from now on.

We went on New Year's Eve for meal. Offer included being able to stay for the entertainment. Starters were OK, Main meal didn't "Sizzle" but was OK. Dessert was nothing like description and tasted like a cheap Aldi Mousse so was sent beck. The number of people allowed in to this small venue meant that little or no Latin Dancing happened and it was literally 5 deep at the bar. For our first visit to Scotland at Hogmonay we were quite dissappointed

As usual, the service was warm and friendly. We enjoyed the Food which was good and the coffee martini hit the spot. Will be back.

Great food = succulent and tasty, good portions. Friendly and quick service. All in all, great value for money. That night we were there, entertainment was not the taste of Brazil/South America we were expecting... A bit disappointing. However, was there the week before and entertainment was top...

We were late arriving and the restaurant was very busy, but still had kept us a table. Service was fast and efficient. House red wine was excellent and and the churrasco, five different grilled meats with salad, meant for two was easily enough for three of us and was perfectly cooked and delicious. The atmosphere was very lively, typical of a Glasgow Friday night out but still reminded us of our own nights out in Rio.

Had the most amazing birthday dinner at Boteco do Brasil. The food was beautiful to look at and delectable in every way. The service was excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food and a convivial atmosphere.

Lovely food and lively atmosphere. Live music in the front of the bar with a Brazilian theme was enjoyable but made conversing at the tables difficult. Slightly expensive cocktails on a Saturday night but they are a bargain in the week.

Booked a table for my sisters 18th as was told their cocktails were amazing and food was not bad. The cocktails were rubbish, even when ordering the same twice it always came different. No fruit, just a slice of lemon or lime. The food was also not worth mentioning. I won't be going back.

Very studenty, food mediocre. Cocktails mediocre. Not cheap either. Very disappointed. Staff friendly. Wouldn't go back though. Was recommended by s friend but reckon it must have changed a lot since he was there.

Was in beteco on Saturday evening with friends. We ordered some food and drinks. The chicken burger was delicious. The waitress service was very good. Only thing wrong was no Morgan spice.

Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful -bouncers and bar staff. Atmosphere was perfect! Being able to have a table for our party was great! Music was fantastic!! Will definitely be back! Ps. Tequila with sugar and pineapple is my new fave!

Used an itison voucher. Quick service and friendly staff. Personally wasnt a fan of my dish (Brazilian beans or something) but my friend enjoyed the same dish so was just a personal distaste.

A fantastic blend of food, booze and music! The friendly and helpful staff are fantastic! Look out for Marli- she is lovely! The live band created a lively atmosphere and was great for a dance!

Didn't know there was service charge on too and I thought that's illegal. The first waiter can't even take our drinks order without us having to repeat at least 3 times.

We had a mixture of tapas at lunchtime. The food was good although the fried chicken was a bit dry. The beef and onions was very tasty. Service was excellent as was the watermelon martini.
