Amazing food and exemplary service. Couldn't ask for more to be honest. Greeted and sat straight away and asked for drinks. Overall wow factor really!

Lovely place to eat, will definitely go back, soon. It is not suit am for people who are not capable of climbing stairs, however, the management and staff bent over backwards to make sure that we were catered for. It was a lovely night.

Having been lucky enough to travel to Texas on a few occasions, this is genuinely the first restaurant I've visited in the UK that comes close to that authentic Tex-Mex / BBQ flavour. Very enjoyable and reasonably priced for a city centre restaurant.

Portions were very big, not piping hot and the service wasn't great. Music was too loud downstairs and the restaurant was pretty quiet with guests. The service was a bit slow, staff stood around chatting.

Great food and lovely atmosphere. Really enjoyed the cocktails and the food was delicious. Staff were attentive and happy to recommend good bourbons. Would definitely go again.

We've been to the Manchester city centre based Bourbon and Black three times in the past 10 days...I think that alone is a clear indication of what we think of it :) The food is unreal and the service is super friendly and helpful!

Food was excellent. Couldn't fault it. Service was good too. All the steaks cooked well and to the tastes required. Would definitely eat here again.

The restaurant/bar looks great and the service when we arrived was warm and friendly. However we didn't manage to eat here so I can't rate the food. The full menu as advertised on the website wasn't available so they only had a limited lunch menu. We didn't fancy eating off this one, although it was a bargain at £10 for a main and a glass of wine or beer. The manager did offer to ask the kitchen if there was something special we wanted but as we were going to get a Tomahawk steak to share I thought this unlikely and went elsewhere. I will definitely go back when one evening to sample the food though as the venue looked great and the staff where great too.

Very friendly and efficient service, great starter of half portion ribs at £7.50 and very good chili brisket main (even better with the 50% Off Jan Deal!), generous portions, pleasant space => recommended!

I booked Bourbon & Black for my husband's birthday night out and it really delivered on every aspect. The service was amazing and all the staff we helpful and enthusiastic. The food was delicious. Great menu as it was condensed but still plenty to choose from. we had wings and jalapeño poppers to start which really got our taste buds going. Then we had the rack of ribs which we couldn't finish as so much which is what you want. Side order you must try are the B&B beans, fries and chargrilled broccoli. The prices are cheap for the quality and quantity of food. We were surprised they were not charging more as the food so that good. We then got offered a free drink voucher to use once the band started later as they have music on. All in all a great night. Only niggle was it was cold down stairs when we were eating and I could see a few had left their coats on. But other that that 10/10.

Incredible food and well priced. Lovely staff but some minor mix ups with our order. All in all we will definitely eat here again, highly recommended. BBQ shrimps were the best I've ever tasted!

Great food , great service !! Good price even with 50% off !! I'd pay full price !!! Only let down was the toilets !!! But hey .... Always someone that's scruffy !!! Well worth another visit !!!

Great service, good food. Not as good as on a previous visit but still good. Good atmosphere, I expect it to get much busier in the next few months.

The location is great. The service was excellent. My blue fillet was cooked to absolute perfection. A lovely afternoon in town. I hope (like all the best places) this restaurant remains a bit of a hidden gem!

Good service, good food and live music and we were given a free drink voucher! Only down side was that the restaurant was very empty which killed the atmosphere.
