Delicious! Very friendly staff We ordered last half of the lobster which was gorgeous! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy evening!

For the price you would expect more. Food disappointing, service even more so as young staff prefer to chat. Alos how many people does it take to ask if the food is okay, do they know something we dont! Should have gone to Nandos!

The meal was very nice, the service was good and the wine was reasonably priced. All in all a very pleasant experience. Not our first time there but we will return.

Food excellent. Service frustratingly slow and erratic, however. It took nearly an hour to get our starters, and there were long waits for both main course and dessert after that. The above repeats our previous experience approx. two years ago, but we decided to give the restaurant another go, and it was disappointing that nothing much seems to have changed.

Staff excellent attentive and professional. Food was ok, nothing ground breaking or out of the ordinary, burger had been grilled bit long which left a bitter taste in mouth. Nothing majorly bad just not as good as last time or what I was hoping for.

One of my very favourite restaurants. The food is wonderful and the staff are even better. A real treat, can't wait to return. Thank you.

Food was most enjoyable. The poached pears with chicory, moules, fried squid, sea bream with mussels and clams, all most enjoyable. The service was very friendly, but rather "hit & miss", even our wine order was forgotten, until reminded. Not really worth the 12.5% service charge !

Food was good, went on a Monday which apparently means it's half price on all steaks. My T-bone steak was well cooked although the new potatoes I ordered to go with it were quite hard. Service was very polite and prompt. Nice surroundings (in the atrium at the rear of the restaurant). A good, reasonably priced venue for a midweek lunch.

Great, friendly staff. Very accommodating. Steaks were amazing! And the 50% deal was great. Cocktails were delicious too. A great evening out in a little gem tucked away from the hussle and bussle.

Really good service and food excellent, best in Sutton in my opinion. We had lunch with a Groupon voucher so was even better.. We had lunch booked for 1 but sat in the lovely bar area for half an hour with drinks and wernt hurried at all.

Our food order was soft crab with allioli. instead I received tartar sauce, not as per menu. my wife had mussels for her starter, and sea bream with clams for her main course, she got 3 clams, and the rest of the sea food with her sea bream was mussels, which she had for her starter, I was also under the impression that the loyalty card gave me a discount off of the final bill, this did not happen. We did not want to spoil the evening by constant complaining, but overall, the small things that were wrong, were not as ordered, a great shame.

A welcome return to form of this restaurant that we have been using for a few years but has gradually deteriorated over the years. This meal, however , was excellent with very good service with a new menu, bringing back some of their previous good offerings. I had a very authentic and good duck rillette as a starter whereas my wife had the tuna tartare that she absolutely adores. Thereafter the lobster of my wife was perfectly cooked whereas my Boeuf Bourginione was delicious and just as in France. For the dessert, a shared crepe sussette ( on as a special for the day) completed an excellent meal, finally rounded off by an espresso coffee and a mint tea.

Excellent attentive staff, Nice atmosphere, However if offered a table along the wall on one of the benches refuse they are low and uncomfortable to sit on. Also we had a groupon voucher and sun-thurs a £19.99 deal is on and a much larger range of dishes on offer for what will amount to £5 more, so well worth the money . So Good Food, Avoid the bench seats, don't bother with groupon.

Excellent food, attentive service and nice relaxed atmosphere - will definitely be returning. Special main (surf & turf) was a little over priced but that was the only downside.

I have tried other items on the menu and enjoyed them but I always return to the duck confit with cherry sauce. It comes with pommes purée but don't let that stop you ordering a side of gratin dauphinoise which are heavenly. They didn't have the Bordeaux I wanted but there was a perfectly adequate Rioja instead. Glad to see it busy last night - we need a choice of good restaurants in Sutton.

Nice food. Very bright lighting - needs to be dimmed. Not many people there, the place seemed to lack atmosphere. Service was good with attentive waiting staff.

Food ok - but they re starting to deliver dishes in smaller and smaller bowls. I like their cooking, but if they carry on down this 'nouvelle cuisine' approach then I wont be going again. Also they automatically added a service charge - appreciate this is quite common these days, but still not a nice thing.

Great value lunch on a Travelzoo voucher, all food was tasty and well cooked. Great wine and coffee included. Good service. Would recommend and return again.

Waiter very knowledgeable of the menu. Nice meal with friends. Fish cakes were a little dry and reheated which bloats the old tummy, but what you expect from a fixed price menu of £19.95! Otherall we would visit again

Food was terrible. Mussels were off and we had to send it back. Mains were sub standard and would compare to a takeaway. Service was good though. Won't ever go back there. Very disappointing.

We have been quite few times to this restaurant and went back this time because we have always enjoyed it. Unfortunately our experience was disappointing. I had to argue with the receptionist because she didn;t seem to be able to understand our voucher. The service was so slow and we had to ask three or four times before we finally got our drinks. The steak was tough and gristly. \another one bites the dust!!

Lovely food, nice atmosphere. Staff very helpful and attentive, let them stay in UK post Brexit! Prix fixe menu very good value. I would recommend this restaurant.

We had to remind the waiter about forgotten drinks a couple times other than that service was brilliant and the food was exquisite. I'll be going back and would recommend to anyone

Food as good as always but service slower than on previous visits, also menu not as varied as before. I am not sure if this is because prix fixe menu is now a constant rather than ending at 19.00 as before. Does seem more of standard rather than the special treat it once was. This may be a good thing i am not sure but I miss the old ambience and unusual dishes.

Lovely venue and great quality food just a short hop from the station. Great to meet up with friends and enjoy the afternoon. Would happily return.

We went to Sutton at lunchtime on Saturday. Great food, great service and pleasant surroundings. A nice place to spend a few hours. Enjoyed very much.

The restaurant was lively and food was very good despite my friend's disappointment a month ago. My husband ordered mussles which appeared to be a popular there. I enjoyed a big portion of Tarte Tatin with ice cream. We enjoyed the night!
