Brouge - Twickenham

This is a regular place for us. Today it was for Sunday lunch. Good value 2 course meal and wine. Beats doing the washing up any time. Always good food and good service.

We had a great meal here, quality of food and size of portions was very good. The restaurant staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble! We have 2 children and the restaurant was great with them both. It was our first visit, but definitely going back!!

My friend and I were the only diners in the restaurant so the ambience was not good. With more people there it might have been better. Speaking for myself, the main course was very nice but the dessert was very disappointing.

Eight of us booked for dinner at Broyge last night and we were all very impressed by the standard of service and quality of our food and the variety on the menu! It was our second trip as we had a Christmas meal there last year which everyone also loved. Waiting staff were pleasant and always there when needed. I really enjoyed the crayfish, smoked salmon and grapefruit starter which was generous in portion and delicious in taste, really zingy and fresh. For mains I had the Modules Mariniere and fries which again was excellent, followed by the trio of sorbets, all tasty and fruity. Everyone had something different in our group from rack of ribs, lamb, steak, fried fillets of fish, and all were very happy with their food. Several fans of Belgian beer in our group so they were well catered for, and the Prosecco and red wine was also very good. I am sure we will be booking again soon!

A really lovely special birthday meal with my family. We had reserved a table and we were in the pub side. It was a little bit noisy at times and I felt a little bit exposed where the table was but it didn't stop us enjoying our gorgeous meal. We love going there.

Lovely food in a very nice restaurant. We enjoyed the choice of wines and beers too.

Always enjoy the brouge. Menu great, food great and service great. Only negative comment is the level of noise. We were near the open door on to the terrace and the noise was just about bearable. If we had been further inside I would have struggled.

We have eaten here before and the food is generally very good. However on this occasion we were appalled at the poor quality of the chips which accompanied a burger. If you are promoting yourself as a Belgian speciality restaurant you should be using proper Belgian style fries. Secondly we had a guest with us from Belgium who had a bottle of Maredsous, not cheap at over £8.00. Whilst reading the label later we found that the drink by date was 11/2018. - eight months out of date! Not impressed.
