Glasgow was once one of the world’s premier ports, and brought the flavours of the world to the Dear Green Place. America always provided one of the main destinations, and now the tastes of the USA have come to Glasgow, specifically in the form of Buddy’s on Pollokshaws Road, just a short walk from Queens Park train station. Their menu is packed with American favourites. Start with small bites such as fried pickles and stuffed jalapenos, or a plate of nachos to share, before moving on to one of their suitably super-sized mains. There are a myriad of burgers to choose from, and a barbecue range that brings the Deep South to the South Side: beef brisket, pulled pork, smoked ribs and grilled chicken to name just a few. There’s North of the Border style Poutine too – chips, cheese and gravy, for our Scottish brethren – and steaks of course, so book a table and head on over to Buddy’s for some of the best barbecue in Glasgow.
Love this restaurant. My daughter loves it as well. Food is always delicious and staff are very friendly and attentive. My daughter wanted a plain chicken burger and because it didn't have half the stuff on it our server gave us money off it which was much appreciated (her idea, not mine)
Food was very nice and the service was very good. The minus points were is that we couldn't order st mungo or other west beers as there was an issue with the supplier. We would have stayed longer if these beers were available.
Best burgers in Glasgow by far !! Very relaxed restaurant and the beers were really good too ,will definitely be back for more thank you
