Love this restaurant. My daughter loves it as well. Food is always delicious and staff are very friendly and attentive. My daughter wanted a plain chicken burger and because it didn't have half the stuff on it our server gave us money off it which was much appreciated (her idea, not mine)
Food was very nice and the service was very good. The minus points were is that we couldn't order st mungo or other west beers as there was an issue with the supplier. We would have stayed longer if these beers were available.
Best burgers in Glasgow by far !! Very relaxed restaurant and the beers were really good too ,will definitely be back for more thank you
We all had a lovely day can't fault food and service was excellent it was our first time there will definitely be back in the near future thanks :-)
Service was pretty slow, food wasn't great and the bill was wrong (though rectified quickly once it was pointed out). It was really quiet when I was there so was surprised by the slow service and poor food quality. Fries were really dry, house slaw was tasteless, mac n cheese was bland. Just not great. I wouldn't bother going back.
Great service friendly helpful staff delicious milkshakes best burgers and fries ever food arrived fast and was presented well Definitely be back to buddy's soon
Average. The parmesan and garlic fries were a little lack lustre and the chicken in the burger had a funny taste. Although the staff were friendly, the overall place lacked atmosphere and the room temp was colder than comfortable. There are much better options for a burger in the city centre for the same price or cheaper even. Do yourself a favour and look them up instead.
The place was clean, retro and comfortable. The waitress was never far away and was very accommodating and lovely, not to mention the food was delicious. I would highly recommend the smashin burger and the kentucky poutine, they were to die for. Would definitely eat here when I'm next in town.
The burgers and fries were excellent, would recommend the Duke Burger and the chicken wings. We went on a Friday night and the service was good
We booked but when we turned up the table wasn't ready. Other than a large table of 20, the restaurant was quiet but we were warned our food would take a while - which it did. We were sat in a far away corner of the restaurant where staff barely ever walk past so service was extremely slow and it was difficult to get anyone's attention. Once we eventually ordered drinks they took ages to come. We ordered waffles for dessert and it took nearly 25 mins for us to be told the waffle machine wasn't working and there would be a further wait. We couldn't wait longer wo cancelled our desserts and requested the bill. When the bill arrived, we were told the card machine wasn't working and we would need to pay by cash which we didn't have so we were told to go next door to get some from an atm. We were eventually able to pay by card at another branch over the phone. Everyone had been raving about buddy's and I was massively disappointed. Burgers were good but massively overshadowed by the rest of our experience.
