Always really happy with the food and service at this restaurant. One of our favs in Birmingham! Will definitely be going back again and again!

Another great night in Byzantium, reasonably priced. Amazing flatbreads, pork belly and Crete brûlée. Place was full but that just added to the atmosphere. We will be back soon

great food as always and friendly staff, the flat bread is amazing and we tried some new dishes such as the beef tagine which was very yummy.

Byzantium was new to us, but we was warmly welcomed and explained the menu, which is mediteranean style tapas, unfortunately some of the things were sold out on the menu, but what we ordered was all delicious! Will definitely be back!

We Really enjoyed our evening here - Lovely, cosy restaurant and the food was great. Definitely recommend the juicy King Prawns cooked with spices, garlic and brandy.

Our party tried 12 of the dishes and didn't come across a single bad or average one, each dish was as delicious as the last. The waiting staff where amazing and nothing was to much trouble, despite being busy they still always had time for a friendly word. Amazing food and superb staff, really enjoyed our night.

Excellent food and good service. There was an excellent selection of food to choose from and it all tasted delicious. There was a special French menu on the night we came and the choices on that menu were particularly good. We will definitely be going again.

Quirky little tapas place in Kings Heath. Disappointed they had none of the fish dishes when we went but the food we did order (chorizo, chicken souvlaki, chicken stew, flatbread and humous and lamb skewers) were all tasty. Lots of people smoking just outside the door of the restaurant meant the air inside was a little unpleasant, Otherwise a nice meal.

Delicious food, lovely staff, great atmosphere. This was the first time we went and we've recommended it to everyone since. No complaints from us. Great night out.

Very easy to book a table, good service and lovely food! I'd advise going earlier rather than later in the evening, though, to avoid having to wait for other people to be served.

The tapas menu is great - even if you don't know much about tapas there is bound to be something for all tastes including vegetarian. Lovely food, welcoming and warm service.

One of my favourie King's Heath eating places with a menu so extensive you could go back again and again and never eat the same meal twice. Intimate and characterful with friendly staff.

my first visit following a recommendation. Booked as a party of 6 for a birthday treat. Staff were friendly and informative.the tapas came in good time and rapid succession. The food was hot and all commented on how tasty everything was, our favourite being the flat bread and dips, the pork belly, haloumi skewers and potatoes bravas. But we might need a return visit I order to try out the rest !

Went for the first time last week after being recommended by friends. The food was fantastic, especially the pork belly and lamb skewers. There were so many dishes we wanted to try that we'll definitely be going back!

Great food, lots of tasty dishes to choose from and the most wonderful flat breads with dips Prompt and friendly service from the waiting staff whenever we've been there.

A charming restaurant, just off a busy high street. We usually go on a lunchtime and have the tapas. They do, however, open in the evenings and have a comprehensive Mediterranean menu. 3 or 4 tapas dishes are sufficient for two people sharing, unless you are very hungry. For a starter, we usually share a flatbread, which is freshly cooked, and a homous. I usually have a San Miguel beer and my wife has the house wine, but there is a reasonable selection. The service is good and the surroundings very pleasant. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff from beginning to end. Constant stream of beautiful, piping hot tapas dishes were a delight. We never fail to get high quality food here. Downside is that it can get very noisy.

We went on a Friday lunch time, so the restaurant was a little quiet. The service was exemplary and the food excellent. We has hud a flatbread and humous to start, followed by a selection of tapas. Everything was piping hot and very tasty.

Absolutely love Byzantium. In my opinion it is by far the best Tapas restaurant in Birmingham. The chefs food is authentic and every dish is delicious. The place has a great ambience, the staff are lovely too-so attentive and friendly. I have visited this restaurant many times with various friends and family, all as equally impressed. On average-with drinks,we tend to spend £25-30pp which is excellent value.

Excellent food (including range, although the menu was slightly out-of-date, but we were kept informed of changes by staff). There was a full house but the busy staff were friendly, cheerful, knowledgable, attentive and patient; very good service. The food was top-notch as usual and the wine was also excellent.

Nice ambience , warm welcome and great food. Left feeling very satisfied overall. A few items missing from the menu but Plenty of other choices.

This was my first visit and I loved it, such a lovely environment, very relaxed and the staff were great, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was amazing, probably the best Tapas I've had. I will definitely come again.

Everything was very good and food was delicious. The music made us feel like dancing (we are Spanish) fortunately it was not loud. Nice atmosphere to share tapas with family and friends

We had a fabulous time! The service was if a particularly high standard, attentive and interested but not overbearing. My partner was presented with profiteroles with a candle in for his birthday, which was a nice touch. Great selection of aperitifs - we both enjoyed an Aperol spritz. The food was all great. We paid £65 for our meal which I thought was great value considering we had 7 tapas, 2 flat breads, drinks and desert. I can't wait to go back again to try even more of the dishes on offer!

Went for a girls night out and had a great experience. We had 10 dishes between 4 of us which was just right and they were all delicious. I can also really recommend the pistachio ice cream for dessert. Service was fantastic, really friendly and attentive staff.

We always love coming to Byzantium - great service and great tapas as always. The guy who served us was really friendly to my disabled brother and very accomodating with my one year old son!

Lovely food and a nice atmosphere. Good vegetarian selection and nice wine. Always a nice place to go with friends. My one complaint is that it felt too warm in the restaurant.

Great relaxed atmosphere and hot, fresh and tasty food. We always have a wonderful experience which is why we keep returning! I recommend to everyone!

This was our second visit to Byzantium and it was even better than the first visit, when the restaurant was very crowded and the service was slow. This time we were served quickly by a very nice young man, who was very smiley and helpful. The food is wonderful and we will definitely be coming back again.

We had a lovely time at Byzantium celebrating our anniversary. Wonderful food and great atmosphere. We particularly enjoyed the flatbread with zaalouk.We'll definitely be back.
