About Carob Tree

Carob Tree Highgate London is a swanky spot that serves up Mediterranean and Turkish cuisine. Situated on Highgate Road, Carob Tree has a lively atmosphere, friendly staff and incredible food and wine which will keep you coming back time and time again. Offering a wide selection of dishes to share such as mezes, charcoal grilled fish and meats – dinner at this hotspot is a sociable affair, to say the least. A few of our favourite dishes include the courgette and feta fritters; English free range Banham chicken marinated and charcoal-grilled with peppers, mushrooms and onions and the spinach and feta cheese wrapped in filo pastry. Oh, we are starving all of a sudden! As expected, advance booking is recommended.

Very good food (best grilled octopus ever) and fine service in a pleasant, airy atmosphere. One starter (green bean dish) was not brilliant (too much tomato) and was disappointed that kebabs all incorporated dairy (so couldn’t even try, due too food allergy). Same for babbaganoush. 😟

+ Delicious grilled fresh fish and octopus was particularly good, lamb and chicken mixed grill was great too. + nice atmosphere and space near Hampstead Heath. - Meze was disappointing, humus was nice but taramasalata and Baba gonusch was bland.

Delicious food & friendly staff. I'll definitely be visiting again. A short walk from Parliament Hill & Gospel Oak station, it's well worth going to
