Restaurant under new management - far superior to before!!! Excellent food and service. Lovely decor also! Staff are all lovely especially the main female waitress. The owner visible and greets all customers, highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back

I go to The Carob Tree for best fish in particular the Brill which is always great A very large sharing Plate .our friends enjoyed the Dover Sole ,great value ,nice staff They need to change the background music .The annoying sax lift music is horrible . But it was a great lunch I always recommend the Tree

We had a lovely evening at Carob tree; the staff were really friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Decor is also really nice.

Friendly and welcoming staff, food was delicious especially the octopus and kleftiko meals. It was very busy on Saturday evening so the service was a little slow but the lovely ambience of the restaurant allowed us to relax and enjoy the evening. Very reasonably priced. Was recommended to us and we will return.

We've been here a couple of times previously and it used to be really buzzing. The food was good with excellent service last night however since a change of ownership it was more than half empty and the atmosphere was flat. Shame.

As always, the greeting was warm, the staff were attentive, coats disappeared, orders taken, the shared brill was large and well cooked, and the wine was VFM, as was the bill! The Carob Tree met our needs and lived up to our expectations.

Excellent food, warm welcome, great service. My friends, who also live locally but hadn’t eaten here previously, said they will definitely visit Carob Tree again.

Even though the management had recently changed and a few things had been taken off the menu, it was very good food and I would go there again

Pleasant friendly welcome. Good food, with a well priced lunch menu. Such a pity not more people there on a rather wet Thursday. Would definitely go again.

Very good food (best grilled octopus ever) and fine service in a pleasant, airy atmosphere. One starter (green bean dish) was not brilliant (too much tomato) and was disappointed that kebabs all incorporated dairy (so couldn’t even try, due too food allergy). Same for babbaganoush. 😟

+ Delicious grilled fresh fish and octopus was particularly good, lamb and chicken mixed grill was great too. + nice atmosphere and space near Hampstead Heath. - Meze was disappointing, humus was nice but taramasalata and Baba gonusch was bland.
