Being Christmas Eve the atmosphere was great, and the food and staff were exceptional Looking forward already to our next visit Merry Christmas and a happy new year

Good location. Really friendly staff, fantastic food possibly the best Indian we've ever had, service was silky smooth quick but didn't feel rushed. If you are visiting Lincoln and like Indian food it cannot be missed.

A very friendly place to go with family or friends. Food is outstanding with excellent service & presentation. Stairs to dining area age steep but worth the climb to experience the great atmosphere & food. Owners are a lovely couple who make you feel so welcome every visit. Take away is also available. Highly recommended.

Brilliant service, food stunning as usual. Top place. I wish we wouldn't have to sit near the 4 southern couples who came in though. Rude to staff, watching porn on their phones at the table etc...typical. Why can't they stay in their over hyped, overpriced, lawless hovel and don't bother coming up here! Gobby scrubbers

Went here for the first time with some friends. The setting was nice, the staff were friendly and the food was very tasty. The Naans were the biggest I have ever seen!! Would definitely go back. Only issue we could see was that it is not a place for the less able bodied as it is based upstairs and the stairs are quite steep.

Food quality is outstanding, service & presentation excellent, atmosphere is great. There are some steep steps to get to restaurant dining area but that aside I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Our first time here but won't be our last! The food was fantastic, one of the best Indian meals we've ever had; service was prompt and friendly; and the price was reasonable as well. The fact that it was pretty much full on a Monday night in November shows that the place is well thought of. Would happily recommend Castle View.

Another visit to the Castleview and it never fails on anything,the food is as good as ever with a large and varied choice to choose from,the service was again very good and will be returning get soon.

Great restaurant, lovely people and very tasty food. The only drawback is that the service does take quite a while even though we had booked. This was not a one off either as we have been several times before, but it is not a problem and we work round it. I thought I'd mention it as it may be a consideration for others. It is a good idea to book as well as they do get booked up quite quickly, even on a week day night - we tend to go on a Wednesday.

This is our fifth visit in 10 weeks, so we obviously like it. As ever the staff, including the owners, are excellent, attentive and pleasant. They will cook the food as you like it, spicier or milder and will leave out specific ingredients if you wish. The food is superb, beer and wine excellent and service perfect. the atmosphere is really good, a small restaurant but full of life. we're going again in 2 weeks. A great little Indian restaurant!

Great food and service. Little bit of a wait for mains but well worth it. Light fluffy nan breads with crispy edges. Prawn jalfrezi - lots of prawns but peppers a bit swamped by onions.

Lovely restaurant and amazing food! Service was extremely efficient and staff very friendly.
