I only booked the restaurant from the internet the late eve before but it was a huge success. There were 4 of us and we all thought it was one of the best Indian meals we had ever had. Very friendly staff too. excellent location. Prices were very reasonable. Thank you. Clare

Great geeat food, and wonderful service really enjoyed our stay. Wasn’t rushed at all so was a really enjoyable night for my girlfriends birthday meal.

All staff were very polite & helpful. Service was quick. I had onion bhaji for starter, they were delicious & not too oily like I’ve had in the past. For main I had chicken tikka masala which was absolutely yummy! With plain boiled rice & a garlic naan. Overall the service and food were both excellent and I will be returning (:

You can always rely on excellent delicious food here. They have great chefs creating fresh aromatic dishes. Our favourite Indian restaurant. Outstanding, and we will be returning soon.

Great food, staff pleasant and helpful but needs some aircon or ceiling fan regardless of the current weather as we went in spring and when the tables fill up it gets very warm.

It was the most amazing meal with a excellent service I will most definitely recommend the place to anyone and I will most definitely return to eat there

This is one of our regular visits, extremely friendly staff, great food cooked to your preference and in a superb spot just outside the castle gate. The food is that little bit different from other Indian restaurants, a great place to dine!

Excellent meal, and the staff were very helpful and friendly and up for a bit of fun, it was my wife and I ,42 wedding anniversary , we had a lovely evening. We will be returning with our family at some point. Service with a smile always works for me. 5*.

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. They helped us ( 4 of us ) sort out a selection of dishes so we could share. The food served was hot and the contents were tasty. A very enjoyable evening had by us all. Will be going again soon.

We liked every dish that we ordered especially the tandoori platter for two starter. The service was good and the staff friendly. Would have given it top marks but although the food was reasonably priced, the drinks were a bit pricy.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, excellent food. Naan were particularly good as was the tandoori chili chicken and the rogan josh was very fresh. Free shots and complimentary drinks sealed the deal!

Food was really good, the staff were really friendly and food came at a good pace. Enough time to allow us to enjoy but didn't make us wait for ages in between. Would recommend.

Went with friends. Food was amazing, so delicious! Service was excellent and modest with nice little touches like the orange-scented finger wipes and orange segments to refresh the palate. We booked in advance so not sure about waiting times if we hadn't.

All of the dishes my wife and l choose,the mains , sides and rice were delicious. I would not hesitate to recommend the Castle Veiw. Surly the best Lndian restaurant in Lincoln.

Really great restaurant with amazing food and good service. It was our daughter’s birthday and they treated her to complimentary bhajis. Very highly recommended and we will be going back!

Very good service but quality of curries could be improved. My Madras was too sweet tasting, as was my wife’s Dansak. Overall a reasonable dining experience.

The best Indian food by a long way. Good service, great location. Would highly recommend to any one local or visitors to Lincoln. Great night out
