Lovely food. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Great Staff. Was not very busy so we were seated and served quickly. Would certainly go there again

Lovely steak, Cooked exactly as requested, together with good service. We were looked after really well by Gaz, who when he found out it was my birthday even brought me a free birthday beer! We really enjoyed the evening and would definitely use Cau again.

My family and I enjoyed a delicious meal at CAU. The steak was cooked nicely and the chips were nice and crispy! I also enjoyed the croquette appetizers. Service and food were both excellent!

Easy to book, staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely relaxed dining experience. Quality and choice of food was excellent. Nice separate bar area with multiple drink options including a wide selection of cocktails including a cocktail if the day. Definitely recommended and will be going again.

The food was OK but we waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for our main courses. We got no compensation for the delay. The cocktail list was poor and the wine was expensive. Our table was at the back and not very good. We won't be eating there again and wouldn't recommend it.

Not up to Cau's usual high standards. There was only one staff member on the bar who was trying his hardest to serve everyone and was very apologetic but it was a bit hectic, even for a busy Saturday! We were seated promptly and the order taken but the waitress was not very attentive - probably due to it being a busy Saturday night and there not being many staff. Empty plates were not taken and we were forgotten about. We asked for the bill but waited so long for it we got up and went to the till to request to pay.

We had a second very nice meal at Cau Liverpool on a Sunday evening. Food was great and the service was good. What's not to like?

Excellent service from the staff, great food choices and the best steak ever had! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back to try the other choices.

Service was a little slow given that it was quiet when we came in. The food was pretty good when it did arrive. I would go back in the future.

Really good, went for the 400g lomito with chunky chips, steak was delicious although chips were a bit of a let down, not as crispy as they usually are. Between the table we ordered 5 different desserts and the only one worth ordering was the churros, avoid the apple pie cheesecake

Never fails to disappoint at CAU - outstanding service from staff and the steak is always cooked to perfection. Who can say no to a glass of Malbec with the best steak in the North West on their birthday ?

We found it overpriced. The service wasn't good as our waiter studiously ignored us and the steak was tough and fatty. We won't be returning.

Was very nice got a large steak and chips the mrs had chicken steak was cooked well and drinks got me very boozed up could barely walk when leaving

First time here was recomended by a friend an iv got to say its the best place iv ate in Liverpool an the decore is so modern an relaxed it gives such a nice atmosphere to the place i will 100% go back to this place its a must try for anyone looking to book a fantastic place to dine

I loved my Valentine's meal, cannot fault the food and the service was brilliant. Totally recommended lovely restaurant. Steak was lovely and tasty, peppercorn sauce.

Professional, competent and knowledgeable staff. Backed up by excellent meat. Restaurant layout comfortable (unlike competition!). The BEST ever steak I’ve had and will be back.

A little hectic at first due to small waiting area. The cocktails take so long to make you’re left waiting a while at the bar. Once seated at your table the service was excellent and the food even better. I’d definitely visit again.

Messy, disorganised staff, I was not given forks for my meal. Meat not prepared well enough , too expensive for what they offer. Not happy.

Lovely food and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be recommending to friends and family. We will be back again in the near future with friends

Wonderful service given by the staff at CAU and a truly wonderful standard of food. One of the best steak restaurants in Liverpool! Very impressed.

Beautiful restaurant on castle street dressed all Christmassy and cosy Best Steak about would highly recommended CAU for the meat eaters Nice bottle of red went down a treat too! 🍷

Very unhappy waited 45 mins after ordering a drink to receive it (after asking a member of staff 3 times other wise god knows how long we would of had to wait) orderd our food then and asked for my steak well done , came out raw!!!! Sent back to co further just was not happy with any of it

Excellent rib eye steak! Food overall very very good BUT!! expensive seeing as the restaurant comes over with a more fast food/street style type place! If that makes sense? Recommend it anyway

Fabulous food with good variety of dishes on menu. Excellent setting on the popular Castle Street. Great ambience with well appointed decor and colour scheme. Would recommend.

Wonderful dinner, one of the best steak places in Liverpool. The ribeye steak was tender and cooked perfectly. The chips were crispy and delicious. All of the sauces were fantastic too. I would highly recommend CAU!

On the whole food was lovely though my sweet potato fries were not piping hot and they were out of a few things on the menu

Service and food all up to scratch! Quality food and steaks are up their with the best! The sauce which accompanies the pork tempura is delish! Recommended if you want to treat yourself and others.
