We had an amazing experience Chamuyo Brighton. The service / staff were amazing The drinks were great The steak and lamb shank were perfect plus great sides!

My wife and I ordered 2 steaks, a 350g fillet, medium-rare and a 250g sirloin, blue. However, the fillet arrived blue and the sirloin was medium-well, so we just decided to swap because we were in a hurry. Both steaks were absolutely drowned in salt, to the point of almost being inedible. The fillet looked like a nice cut of meat but was totally ruined by the seasoning, which wasn’t optional, and got cold very quickly due to being blue instead of what I asked for. The staff got some other things wrong despite the place being very quiet. These were not complicated orders.

We had a family meal on a Tuesday evening. I really liked the size of the restaurant - nice and intimate. Most of us had steak and the feedback was, without exception, fantastic. I thought my rib-eye was as good as anything I have had, and I live in the USA! Good service amd sensible prices for wines.

Been here 6 times now and we are not locals to Brighton but come here specifically to attend this restaurant. Their Steaks are just amazing ! ... They're so full of flavor cooked to our specific tastes and oh so juicey. My family & I love coming to this place & so should anyone else who tries this restaurants culinary offerings. 8 of us visited to celebrate my husband's birthday. This was our 3rd visit and our best so far. All the food was amazing and we are looking forward to the next time.

Everything was great apart from two steaks were given to the wrong two people. One was rare and one was well done. Both people were at opposite ends oaf a big table, so neither realised the steaks were the wrong way round It ended up both people couldn’t eat their meals No matter though, everyone else there ate it for them Other than that it was beautiful

The food as always was amazing, Both Steaks were perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth, The only minor negative would be how small the jug of peppercorn sauce, other than that the sauce itself was divine

We had a Groupon.I started with the malbeck meatballs and yes banging. Steak cooked perfectly. Chips were from a frozen bag. Would I come again? The food was so good, so yes I will come again.

Food was great, at the beginning service was great, received starter and main at great time, then it took 40 min to receive a desert menu, then another 20 min to order and then 25 min waiting to pay, it felt like a bad organisation of the team as there were 6 waiters at the bar chatting and not seeing and checking at customers at all, host was a good lady

Nice restaurant, we were seated in the rear of the restaurant where heating was provided, nice place, food amazing, had olives marinated in orange which were both massive olives and super tasty, best olives we have ever eaten. Steak cooked to perfection, missus had a huge lamb shank which fell of the bone and very tasty. Staff were attentive and looked after us well, got a birthday balloon at my table, nice touch, definitely recommend it.

Wunderbar gegrilltes Fleisch (Filet). Perfekt nach Wunsch gekocht. Gute Beilagen (ausser Salat war mit süsser Sauce). Sehr nette Bedienung. Negativ: relativ eng wenn alle Tische besetzt. Tipp: unbedingt reservieren. Bester Tisch: am Fenster

Took my friend for her birthday. We had the sharing steak plate. It was some of the best steak I've eaten in Brighton. I would definitely recommend and will be returning. Price-wise, it's not cheap, but as the food was so good, I was happy to pay :)
