I enjoyed a nice evening out with my sister at Chamuyo. I ordered the ribeye, medium, with chimichurri sauce on the side and can confidently say it was the best steak I’ve had in recent memory. The restaurant was cozy, relaxing and welcoming, and the service was outstanding. We were both craving mashed potatoes and these really hit the spot!

Table for 2. We were greeted with a warm cheerful welcome. Our table was of adequate size. A bottle of Potrero Reserva Malbec was ordered whilst we perused the menu. It was a good choice. Starters chosen were Empanadas and Soft Mocilla. For us, the Empanadas were the weakest part of the menu. They were deep fried, rathere than baked which was a miss for us. The Morcilla on the other hand was an absolute hit. Both soft and flavourful, it brought back fond memories of our time in Buenos Aires. So delicious. Mains chosen were Ribeye and Special Cut Ribeye (Rib Cap). Both were cooked as ordered in our case medium. Both were tender. The cap is a cut not often seen and was a real treat. A salad was also ordered however this was chunky clumsy heavy salad rather than a clean green salad which to our mind would have been a better bet. Personal choice. Dessert For us it had Panqueques and Churros both with Dulce de leche. These were sweet delicious and moreish. Highly recommended. The wait staff were polite attentive and happy in their service. Which timed perfectly and at a realistic pace. A very enjoyable dinner and evening was had. We will certainly return. Next time, with friends. Highly recommended Argentinian Steakhouse 10/10

We’d eaten at Chamuyo on a previous visit to Brighton a couple of years ago so decided to eat here again and we weren’t disappointed the steaks were melt in the mouth delicious and the staff were also just as polite and helpful as before looking forward to eating here again in the future.

What can I say, The staff are really attentive without being buggy or annoying. Even the chef pops out to check that the food is to your liking (Classy customer service) The food…… Oh My God the food, both myself and my brother have never had steak that simply melted in the mouth like this, I had the 350g ribeye and my brother had the 350g sirloin and both were sooooooooooo good. The only minus point was maybe a tad too much salt, but even that didn’t take anything away from an amazing meal. Thank you to all the staff for making my birthday dinner the best ever. I will certainly be back again.

We chose the sharing plate with all four steak types which was served on a sizzling hot plate & came with two sauces, chips & a salad. All the food was delicious and we’d thoroughly recommend eating here.
