Took my friend for her birthday. We had the sharing steak plate. It was some of the best steak I've eaten in Brighton. I would definitely recommend and will be returning. Price-wise, it's not cheap, but as the food was so good, I was happy to pay :)

Food as always was really well cooked and full of flavour. Wait staff this time around was off the ball. No the normal high precision service. We will be back.

When we go out for a steak meal we only ever visit this restaurant - it is head and shoulders above anything in all departments in the Brighton and surrounding areas.

Chamuyo's steak is the best around and the portion sizes are extremely generous. The chips were a bit bland, not crisp on thr outside and fluffy inside as a good chip should be, but the tomato and onion salad was very tasty. Space is tight, so the tables can be a bit close together, and if you are seated near the door, there is a draught whenever people enter. But the steak makes up for these minor failings!

We visited for my boyfriend’s 28th birthday and the food, service and general vibe was amazing. I booked on the day and they had still managed to put a balloon on the table for us which I thought was a lovely gesture. Highly recommend the sharer steak platter. Our lovely waitress Izzi even gave us a free chimichuri sauce on the side as a recommendation for the steak. Can see why the reviews were so good and cannot believe we’ve not visited in the 6 years it’s been open!

Another fab visit to Chamuyo and it is definitely our favourite restaurant in brighton. Casual, relaxed, attentive service and down to earth with excellent food, especially the tomahawk on this occasion
