Sunday lunch was great. Not eating meat makes it difficult to go out for a good Sunday lunch but now I have discovered the vegetarian toed in the hole at Chime this is no longer a problem. I'll be making this a regular Sunday visit.

Great food, as always Lucy looked after us very well.

I’ve eaten at Chime with my family on a number of occasions as a local resident to Hartford. The change of menu is good but the quality of food was disappointing. I ordered the meatballs, sliders and salt and pepper wings. The meatballs we’re pretty plain and the sauce was just plain tomato sauce. The sliders were dry and the salt and pepper wings were very greasy. Just some friendly feedback from me.

Never been to chime before ( not from the area ) found it via reviews on trip advisor , had a great evening , the food was amazing , music at perfect levels to still enjoy conversation , attentive staff ..and ... very reasonably priced too .. 10/10 from me and would visit again in a heartbeat 👍🏼

Lovely, stylish restaurant with tasty quality food, great deals (love the gin for a fiver deal) but the service was sooooo slow. We waited ages for our drink, then over an hour for our food and it wasn’t that busy. The tapas was delicious, just such a long wait for it.

Was very enjoyable, food was delicious. And waitress we had was lovely.

Luke warm food, slow service, table next to us wrong starter, missing a main course. We spent at least £100 for 2 of us and that was just about average. This is normally our favourite restaurant but we will seriously think about returning. Never like going upstairs anyway as u then never get the same quality of service but tonight even the usual lady who was downstairs was not her usual chatty self. Definitely not value for money tonight well & truly disappointing 😕😕

Service was very slow, we had to order our own drinks at the bar all evening as there wasn’t any table staff available. One person working downstairs! New menu not good, expensive by the time you order 3 “tapas style” dishes.

We have visited Chime on many occasions and recently they have changed the menu to a very similar style to tapas! I really enjoyed my meal here again, I liked that I could try a few different things as opposed to having one set meal. Always a good atmosphere and the staff were very helpful and attentative. Highly recommend!

Chime’s new tapas style menu was amazing. We ordered 3 dishes each and found this more than enough for 4 people. The specials were delicious too- Prosecco scampi! We are already planning our next get together there.

Chimes new menu is nice. We try a few dishes and all was very delicious.

There is a new menu all of which, except for pizzas, are small plates e.g. shepherds pie etc not a success for me. Very slow service may be because you now need to order multiple dishes which they have to cook and serve. Won't be going back. Sad used to love it.

Great food menu options, I had the burger and my partner had a noodle dish. The wine and beer on offer was good. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent (very friendly and attentive). We will definitely return.

My first visit since the change to small plate dining (I was very excited as I love this style of dining). Atmosphere was good for a Friday evening, a good buzz, live dj with good music at the right volume so you can still hold a conversation with your party. The menu offers so much choice, and a great selection for vegetarian/pescatarian. I have to say I didn’t enjoy it as much as the usual dining experience, the food was mediocre, no way near as fab as it usually is... but it was only the 2nd week since the launch of the new menu. Service was slow, and plates weren’t removed from the table once we were finished. We would have had desserts, but staff cleared the table as the next booking was due, so we weren’t able to order. All of my previous visits have been great so it wouldn’t stop me from returning and trying again!

Arrived early so had a drink while we waited for the table, once we were seated our drinks order was taken but after that it was a long wait until the drinks arrived or our food order was taken. From our reservation time until we had anything to eat was over 1 hour. However, when the food did arrive it was well presented and tasted great. All the staff were very pleasant. i can only assume because we arrived at a busy time we were last to get served.

Fabulous new menu. Garlic mushrooms, salt and pepper fries and sliders were amazing and service was second to none. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

The service was excellent both the girls that served us are a credit to the restaurant, they were friendly, polite, knowledgeable, engaging and good fun. The food on the new menu was very tasty. Overall great night thank you

Great atmosphere and good service. Good range of drinks . A recent change of menu gearing more to a tapas theme was in my opinion the only negative. It didn't feel like the evening meal experience we were looking for and rather a day time snack feel. Please bring back an alternate main meal menu so we have a choice .

There was a lovely and helpful waitress and the wine was nice. However the food was mediocre and the wait longish when the restaurant was not at capacity

Great food, friendly staff. Only thing that stopped us giving the highest score was that the food was quite slow to be served, however it was worth the wait when it arrived!

I like the atmosphere and location however the new menu was not to our liking. Personal choice only but thought the beef / curry don’t work in tapas style, Seabass was nice but I wouldn’t generally go out for a meal and chose tapas style dishes and if I did I wouldn’t want beef in red wine or curry.

Visited at lunch time - Great atmosphere with helpful, cheery & friendly staff. Generous portions. Absolutely delicious food - the chilli beef was divine. We will definitely return.

I wanted to award a higher score but the new menu ides of offering smaller portions made the meal choice difficult as you could not know the portion size in advance. I ordered braised beef (excellent) and shepherds pie (not much lamb in it) and the fries were very tasty. I thought the wine was over-priced but not unusual in some restaurants these days. All in all, I enjoyed the meal but would not order shepherds pie in the future. The ambience was good and the service excellent so will eat there again

Excellent service from start to finish, it was my friends 50th Birthday, on arrival there was a plaque with happy birthday on and at the end happy 50th birthday and candle on her plate of pudding, it's the small things that count, but the food was excellent could not fault it

Had Sunday roast which was delicious. Staff very welcoming and friendly, and gave us just the right amount of attention. Lovely feel to the place. Fabulous - would definitely recommend.

The new menu is fantastic. Service second to none. The food was lovely - the little plates just the right size and all very tasty. If there was any constructive criticism the food could have been a little warmer. But we did sit on the "marble top" table and marble does tend to absorb heat!

Great meal for my daughters 16th with her friends. Great service guys. Food was fast and tasty. Will definitely go again soon. Great choice of cocktails to finish the night.

Lovely restaurant, good atmosphere and great service. Four of us are here whilst in northwich on business. We will definitely return next time we’re in the area!

Service was poor and they were not that busy with diners. Employ too many young people who are inexperienced in how to care and check all is ok.

Great food and service. Only slight issue was that the table wasn’t ready and there was nowhere to wait without constantly being knocked by customers and staff passing by the bar.

Food was fabulous, only upset was I had seen a gin for a fiver advertised on Facebook, but was told the gins weren’t available, had run out as a new menu was being put together -very disappointing for a birthday drink😐

Really enjoyed the food especially with the tapas dish, it was amazing auiurt and staff were really friendly. Just an expensive meal for tapas dishes - could do when a deal 3 dishes for 12 or something ... as that is what other tapas bars do

Nice venue with a really good atmosphere. We attended the first night of the new menu which is small plates or pizza. The small plates menu is interesting. They recommend 3 to 4 per person.

Food was fantastic as always and staff were brilliant. Can’t reccomend this place enough and it’s excellent value for money. Can’t wait to go back.
