Chisou - Mayfair

Chisou is an incredible little restaurant with great ambiance, attentive staff and some of the best sushi I've had in London. Not too pricey so you won't break the bank, but you'll definitely leave satisfied. Absolutely recommended!

Best sashimi and sushi in traditional Japanese setting. Service is nice quality likewise. If you want traditional Japanese sea food, this IS the place in London.

Amazing sushi with perfect service. Surprisingly well prised for a place so close to Oxford Circus. Try the Eel or some of the other specials!!

The atmosphere is great however the wagyu beef we ordered is just way over cooked. The freshness of the sashimi is great and the black cod I had is just very nice.

Amazing food, super tasty. Some would say it is a bit pricey but you get top end quality for it! Will definitely go back again.

Been coming to this small exceptional Japanese restaurant for almost 20 years. Great quality and range of cuisine as well great service. Hard to find a better Sushi restaurant.

very relaxed atmosphere and good food. Sashimi and sushi were amazing. I recommend Yukimi Daifuku for a desert. They also have a selection of good sakes as well.

The fish is really fresh and the sushi taste so good ! The personnel was very kind and professional. Lots of different sake and Japanese win

The service was great. We went there for the sea urchin but was told they don't have any in stock. It wasn't a big problem though. The food was good but a bit on the pricey side.

Excellent food and service. I personally find most Japanese restaurants serve small portions and Chisou is no different. But the food and sake were great. Highly recommended!

Bad places it was to much expensive and they were really afraid only about composting the restaurante.. I don t suggest noone the places i have been

Definitely one of the better sushi restaurants in london. Quite traditional but all the better for it . Interesting beer and sake list . Friendly staff and pleasant ambiance. A little pricey ( as that kind of food needs to be ) except for the set lunch which is a lot more reasonable . Have been a few times and will no doubt return .

Great service,nice food,good location..friendly staff,we definitely come back to this place..not expensive..but not cheap too,which is means no bad ..we been celebrating my birthday...friends was enjoy as well

Chisou is my longtime favourite Japanese restaurant in London. Amazing fresh fish and tasty food, nice venue, elegant yet not pretentious atmosphere, polite & caring service. Any time I am in London I must have a meal at Chisou - even two if I can!

Amazing food and brilliant atmosphere! An absolute must for Japanese food lovers in London. A really nice treat. Great for a set lunch as well as A la carte.

Another great meal at Chisou, a haven of quiet with all the Christmas shopping and the same excellent food and service as always. Was getting busy as we left.

This restaurant is Absolutely Fantastic. The service is very good. The food is amazing. We have a great time there. Sushi is strongly recommended esp Unagi roll.

The food was delicious but service was very poor. Seemed very disorganised despite there being a number of waitresses and waiters. Venue is comfortable and simple.

Located near the bustling Regent Street is this one of the few good Japanese restaurants in London. Lunch set menu offers delicious food with a reasonable price.

Very delisious and good experience. The staff are cheerful and can speak Japanese(some staff). I think that if Chisou has YAKITORI menu,it will become more popular.

We tried the Chef's selection of Sashimi, soft shell crab rolls and prawn and asparagus rolls, together with prosecco & Kirin beer.Excellent food prepared by Sri Lankan head chef trained in Japan; very attentive, courteous & efficient staff; served a complementary starter too!

Really nice service and fantastic dishes! The ambience is very cool and perfect for an relaxing evening but also a perfect location for small business meetings.

Excellent, fresh sushi and a range of other traditional Japanese dishes. Traditional preparation. Super friendly staff very willing to offer suggestions and ideas. Decent sake list - hot and cold - to enhance the experience. If you seek the modern, artistic take on sushi this isn't it, but if you want traditional, delicious, high quality sushi this is a great spot. The 2 for 1 Japanese beer deal wasn't bad either.

The food was superb, especially the sashimi which was fresh and fantastic. The service was relaxed but efficient. The atmosphere was lively but not intrusive, What a great evening!

Best sushi in London without a doubt. Who ever knew the glory of butterfish. Awesome. Attentive service, lovely Sake selection too. And child friendly. A great experience all round.
