Excellent food and service, great value and a very enjoyable evening.c a n recommend t h e a u b e r g I n e!
Great meal and great service, we had the banquet and everything was lovely and you can order more dishes to come out if there was something on it you really enjoyed.
Food was very good, service was pleasant. The unlimited banquet for 3, which we had, didn't quite match up to description - a couple of dishes were missing, we had to ask for rice to be brought. I would tend to order from the a la carte if I went again. But quality of food was good.
Really enjoyed night there. Nice surroundings and very helpful staff. Banquet food was superb and the spacing between the waves was perfect. Happy to recommend to family and friends.
The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated, the staff were all very friendly and well mannered, the food was really tasty. The whole place had a nice atmosphere and I would definitely go back
Not as I was expecting. Unlimited menu was just some starters. All deep fried or boiled although they should be steamed. I am sure won't visit again.
Food fantastic, excellent value , staff very attentive, beautiful surroundings . In all well worth a visit , will definitely be visiting again soon . 😀
first time at chop, chop my wife grand daughter (age 6) and myself were very pleased with visit, service and staff,Especially Machlea who was great with my grand daughter and attention to us aswell, food was brilliant and tried a few new dishes, would highly recommend to friends and family.
Great service .will definitely use again. Very easy to book .email comes through very quick as well .no problems at all .very happy with service.
Excellent food, especially the dumplings, and great value, especially at lunch. Service could be slicker and the staff more attentive to the needs of the customers.
Food was cold. Small portions and very slow but friendly service Menu options were very poor and not what we expected and would put us off a second visit
Excellent food, excellent value , lovely staff ,will definately go back, until now we were not big fans of Chinese food but we enjoyed chop chop
Great food, dumplings have to be tried! Brilliant atmosphere, staff attentive but not in your face. Definitely will eat here again in the very near future!!
We had the afternoon tea and also upgraded to a bottle of prosecco for only £8 extra!staff were fantastic can't rate the food high enough.......10+,absolutely gorgeous, especially the prawn toast!will definitely be back soon!xx
Lovely restaurant with great service and delightful food. We would definitely return to try out more items on the menu. the dumplings are amazing. You must try
i booked at table for 2 and sat down at 2.30. The service was awful and the food was disgusting... Don't think I will eat Chinese food again!
That's the 3rd time I've been in chop chop the food is lovely great service you don't wait long for food after you have ordered and they are very friendly they explain what the dishes are and tell you if they are spicy or not I will definitely be going back.
First visit but will definitely be back. Lovely surroundings, efficient and friendly service,Robbie in particular! And the food was wonderful. Would certainly recommend. Great experience overall!
Great value 3 course lunch. Food was freshly cooked and tasty. My teenage daughter loved her Kung po chicken and my beef and chilli dumplings were fantastic
Definitely up there with best Chinese I've had in Scotland. Delicious and fresh plenty of spice and fresh herbs. Very surprised it wasn't busier. Will def be back
Food was amazing and staff were very friendly. We went for the banquet for 2 which allowed us to try a few things, everything was great but wished we had went for more dumplings as they were fantastic.
Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. All of the food was delicious. Some of the best prawn toast I have ever snacked upon! I would highly recommend this restaurant.
A lovely evening out for our party of 7. We were greeted warmly by the owner's husband who enthusiastically explained the concept of the restaurant (authentic Chinese, as opposed to the Westernised Hong Kong style food). We chose the banquet option and were presented with more lovely dishes than we could count, including a wide selection for the one vegetarian in our party which was greatly appreciated. We didn't take advantage of the option to reorder the dishes we liked best purely because we couldn't have eaten any more (thought we did leave room to sample the unusual and tasty deserts). The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely. All the staff were friendly and helpful and seemed genuinely to enjoy working there. I also left a gift beg behind and when I returned to pick it up found it carefully put aside with the details of my table on it, ready to collect. I'd highly recommend this restaurant - greta food, great service and great atmosphere. One of my friends has already been back less than a fortnight later!
We had the unlimited banquet for 2 people, lovely fresh ingredients and just about the right amount of food for 2 people, my favourite was the spicy potatoes and the crispy beef, we were able to try some of the new desserts going to be offered the lychee panacotta with raspberry compote and cherries was delicious
Staff were very friendly. Food was delicious! Proper authentic chinese food. Would definitely recommend the unlimited buffet as it has a good selection of dishes. Will definitely be returning!
Our first visit to the Restaurant. The staff were so welcoming and the food was great. For under 13 pound. You get a lot of different dishes to try and The peanut dumplings were great.Loved the chicken, dumplings,i will definetly go back and reccomend it.
Food was delicious best Kung po chicken I have ever had ,staff extremely helpful overall 10/10 will definitely be going back and recommending to friends
This was my first visit and really enjoyed the experience. Small dishes are ideal for trying something for the first time. Loved the prawns that were battered in a salt and pepper/chilli coating. Would definately recommend trying here!
Very nice restaurant, pleasant staff, limited menu, but what we had was very good.It was good value for money.prices very reasonable I definately Would use Chop Chop again
Friendly and very helpful staff, excellent food. Love the decor, very stylish washrooms. Best groupon lunch deal by far! Easy to find location, close to St Enoch Underground.
Too much deep fried dishes as part of the banquet, which was also not high enough standard for the £20 a head price. Nice tasting food, yet not quite as good as a local family run equivalent.
Excellent meal with a delicious selection of food which surprised us, given the cost. Very reasonably priced drinks too. Very friendly and helpful young staff. Would definitely visit again !
Food as always was excellent but the service was lacklustre this time around - this is the only weakness with this restaurant as the pricing, value for money, quality of food and ambiance is fantastic and I'm an avid fan, however its luck of the draw with service, especially on banquet options where on a good night you'll be looked after but on a bad one you'll sit with one small plate between two for 15-20 minutes before getting the next thing, which ruins the flow a little. I'd normally write this off to it being busy, but when 5 tables are in use by parties no larger than 3 or 4 people, it isn't really expected. Also, the alternative 90's grunge playlist was a little strange, not that I'm an avid fan of the chinese traditional music normally played per se, just wasn't expecting The Smiths and Foo Fighters over a spot of dinner, made the place feel like I was eating at a student pub. The service issue is only very small niggle and only happens maybe 1 out of 4 times, and really doesn't stop me returning, I know which staff are going to give us the best experience upon arrival. The music was a first as well, but probably just someone trying to get through a long shift and keeping themselves pepped up! If you're not sure if its worth your dime, go for a day-time unlimited banquet to sample the menu, its super cheap and the food is incredible. I'm sure the service thing is more obvious to me as I've been a good few times and can see a difference!
Great found, great service and friendly atmosphere. I have been to the Edinburgh Restaurant in the past and was pleased to find the same level of quality in the Glasgow restaurant.
Food was delicious as always! Have been to the Edinburgh and Glasgow restaurant and both everytime food has been outstanding! Recommend the northern beef and fried dumplings!
the food was lovely and the staff are very friendly and attentive , i'll be going back soon just bought another voucher, but will try it without one too
Excellent food and service, there was a lot of vegan choices, very good value for money, I will definitely come back and recommend to others.
Very tasty, great service, nice decor. Fried dumplings were sooo good. Will recommend to friends and family for sure. Will definitely go back again. A+++++++++++
Very good service. We per-ordered and it was all ready. Great food and service. I would recommend Chop Chop to everyone. The dumplings were the best.
The food was excellent but the service was very slow. I feel the should have had more staff working on a Saturday night. Atmosphere was lovely.
Staff were very nice. It was a lovely bright modern restaurant . Food was really nice but the service was a bit slow I don't no if it was because it was busy. Worth a visit and I'd go back again.
Lovely meal and staff could not have been nicer. We had the banquet for two and repeated the potato and beef dishes as they were delicious. Thought it was a bit expensive but wouldn't stop us coming again.
It was a rainy day in Glasgow and we decided to turn up earlier than our booking and was welcomed, no problem. We had the unlimited banquet - very tasty. Next time we're visiting Glasgow I'm sure we'll head to Chop Chop again.
Food and service were excellent. Very good value for money - we opted for the Chinese new year banquet. Only complaint would be that there was too much food.
Food great as ever. Service really poor. Sat for 15 mins without being offered even a drink. Then we had Unlimited Banquet but no more food came after asking several times and then we had to leave to catch our film time at cinema. Owner discussed with us and provided 50% discount as goodwill gesture (although if push came to shove and it had not been offered, I wouldn't have paid full price anyway as they didn't provide unlimited banquet). Love this place and everyone has off nights, taking on board our feedback and proactively giving discount salvaged night but may have had a negative impact if first time customer. I will be back but a big disappointment and would probably give up if a repeat performance.
Food and service amazing. Complementary salad and a glass of wine - very good service. Customer service was outstanding and waiters were happy to recommend dishes and ask how you had enjoyed your meal.
Wonderful, fresh, delicious food - very different from anything else out there. Very attentive service from friendly staff. They have great bargains - the taster banquet and the rolling lunch are outstanding value for money.
Great food and service. Although our booking stated no.coriander the first dish to be brought contained coriander. Not a good start but it was quickly remedied...
Went to chop chop for a family lunch, the food was excellent and a big thumbs up from my two daughters. We're happy to recommend.
excellent - good fresh food - most enjoyable clean, smart interior, good service - have not used chopsticks in many years ! to be recommende
