Excellent restaurant with very good service. Always busy which tells you it must be doing something right. Been eating here for years & can't remember a poor experience. Look forward to my next visit here.
A really good curry night. Staff were nice and the food was yummy. The portions were a good size and the flavours had a good balance (not overly spicy). Would definitely recommend.
The food is delicious and is well presented and there is a good deal of choice for vegetarians. Ambience is good and the service is excellent.
An always welcoming restaurant, with excellent food and good service. I've been coming here for years (since it opened). It is naturally popular, so always best to book. Does get noisy.
The meal was lovely very tasty food. This was our first visit to chutneys and heard from friends how good the food is. The staff are friendly and efficient. Will definitely be going back
A fantastic Indian restaurant with excellent quality food. Chicken tikka masala and shredded lamb dish were amazing. We will be coming back to try some of the other dishes.
Very good restaurant! We were a group of 9 and we found the food amazing it was very good! It totally recommend it! I will come back for sure!
Excellent customers service from arriving, we Had the Buffet, but had to Purchase one item off the menu as one of our guest does not eat meat of any kind, and she was not a great fan of the vegetable curry..would suggest a fish dish to be added onto the Buffet list, which would then give my overall score as 6.
Overall an okay meal but not enough flavour and heat in the food. The staff were friendly enough but not very organised, they could have been more professional. Reasonably priced.
Staff gave great advice when asked about certain dishes. Service very good and the food was excellent. We were there til closing but didn’t feel as we were being rushed out.
Food was very good. Staff friendly. It was a Thursday night, very busy. Had to ask for bill three times. I would definitely go back..
Had a very delicious buffet lunch last Sunday - just the right amount of choice and the food was delicious. Extremely could value at just under £8 a head! Will definitely be recommending it to my friends and family.
Always an enjoyable visit at chutneys! Amazing food, good service and lovely environment. I am a regular customer here and always come back as it is so good
Lovely food. Service was a bit slow but it was a busy Saturday night. Portions very generous - we didn’t need all the popadums we’d ordered before the mains arrived.
This was my first time at Chutneys. Instead of a main dish, we both had a selection of side dishes. These were really tasty and well presented. I would recommend this restaurant thoroughly to anyone who is a fan of Indian cuisine.
Very impressed. Friendly staff, varied menu that has a number of dishes beyond what you normally find. Food was excellent - best curry I’ve had in ages Reasonably priced as well
A very interesting menu with lots more on offer than your average Indian restaurant. All very tasty, though portion sizes are a little on the small side.
Nice restaurant. Lots of vegetarian dishes. Yummy food. Good place to come to with family and friends. Will be eating here more often. Loved it.
We were a big group - some revisiting Chutneys after leaving Wimbledon >15 years ago. It lived up to memory - excellent food and friendly service.
Me and my friends had a great evening in there for our annual Christmas night out, we will be back next year!
The food, wine, service and athmosphere were wonderful. We were a party of six and all had a fab time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Very nice meal and excellent service. Could not fault it. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be going there again very soon. Thank you.
The menu is much more adventurous than the majority of Indian restaurants. We had a very enjoyable meal there in pleasant surroundings. Well worth trying.
I always have a great time when I come to Chutneys, the food is amazing that even when I'm full I don't want to stop eating because it's just so good!
Very good choice of dishes which were of a high standard. Excellent flavours. Service was also great with a large group all being served at the same time with a relaxed atmosphere. First time there but definitely not the last.
Not been to this restaurant for a few years. Think the food is not as good as it used to be so was a little disappointed.
Nice food but small portions. Staff friendly. Drinks very expensive and quite weak. Positioned near the door so had people passing and pushing my chair.
Service not great. Slow to take order forgot to bring water to table had to ask 2 times even though empty tables around. Need to improve on their customer skills. Food was nothing special so wont be returning as it was suppose to be a special birthday meal.
food is ok, décor is a little bit dated though
Brilliant food, recommend the Deshi Gosht or Lamb Rajeshwari, kids always have Chicken Korma. Fantastic, friendly service. We try eat here whenever we are in Wimbledon.
Fab food, fab experience. Staff were friendly and attentive but not over bearing. The decor is modern and stylish. The restaurant is ideally located in the heart of Wimbledon.
Very average food and service. I felt the service was a little rushed and the food was standard Indian fare. Ive been before and it was definitely better. Might try the one next door.
Nice restaurant, good food, polite staff. Our first visit and would certainly comeback. We ate at 7.30 on a Saturday, it wasn't too full, nor too quiet.
Went here for a family meal on a quiet Monday night. Menu is extensive and contains usual British/Indian favourites but also plenty of more interesting dishes. Everything we ordered was great-good quality ingredients well cooked. Staff very pleasant. Nice meal out.
Great service and great prices and very friendly staff. Great location with transport links very close by 2 minutes from Wimbledon Station. Best Indian Restaurant in my opinion in SW19 we always use Chutneys 🤣
Food basic and needs bit more spice. Not sure who chef was on the night but not as tasty as when we visited last year.Restaurant needs updating bearing in mind Wimbledon location and prices charged.Staff were very attentive.
Large and varied menu of delicious dishes at reasonable prices, with good wine selection (under £5 for a large glass of Pino Grigo Rose). Modern decor, clean tables, interesting and different ambient Indian music playing subtly in the background. Very friendly, helpful and attentive staff who aren't too intrusive. Very conveniently centrally located close to Bus stops, railway and underground Station, tram link and a multi-story carpark. The Odeon cinema is a hundred yards away. However the restaurant is tucked away behind the Broadway so doesn't suffer from the annoying distractions from heavy traffic or a constant stream of passers by. Highly recommended!
Wonderful evening at Chutneys. Friendly and polite staff, great service, lovely food as always and the restaurant is very clean. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!
Food and service was excellent as always, in what was a very busy restaurant ! The best Indian restaurant in the area by far... I come regular and the food never disappoints !
The service and food was very good. The atmosphere in the restaurant was just right for our evening. My friends and I always go there as we know it's going to be good and it's not too loud so can hear everyone in the group without needing to shout.
