Food was amazing!! The Aubergine Parmigiana was the tasty meal I’ve eaten in a long time! Everybody enjoyed their meal and it is such a beautiful setting. Can’t wait to go back!

We love it at Clavells, the food is always great, and we love the cocktails. All the staff are very polite and friendly, we recommend it to all our friends and people coming to the area to stay. Our favourite place in the whole of Dorset. Jane.

This place is a little gem. Remember if you can’t fit a slice of apple cake in to buy some to take home. It’s beautiful.

The usual high quality good value food and friendly service

Booking was easy and arrival and seating was also good. One of our meals came out very late and had clearly been overlooked. Not all the meals were hot enough and the delay with one meal didn’t help. Otherwise the food was good.

Gorgeous setting, friendly staff and good food - definitely one to return to!

Lovely sat outside. Staff were very aware of COVID and were sanitising everything! Good effort.

It was my Mums birthday and the staff made a real fuss of her, including a balloon on the table. Lovely food. Great service.

The food was really nice and the service was excellent. A very lovely friendly place.

Quite expensive, roast beef possibly microwaved to heat. Good choice of menu. Goof veggies except carrot tops needed scrubbing better.

We were made to feel very welcome especially as we arrived a little late. Firing on military ranges had to re route. Food much enjoyed nothing too much trouble. Plan to come back again before it gets too busy in the holiday season.

Couldn't fault it. Food was prompt, perfectly cooked. Atmosphere was excellent, service was first class. Staff polite, accommodating. Every table filled yet we didnt feel crowded or rushed and noise levels were low. All round great experience from start to finish.
