The food was very good. Great flavours and large portions for a fair price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The ambience is nice and they had great music playing.

Loved it. Work outside impacts on number of lunch diners but the excellent staff, great beers and lovely food more than compensates. Black pudding and Scouse was wonderful. Recommend it.

What a little gem!! We visit Liverpool a few times a year and like to try different recommended restaurants. We will definitely be returning here. Food was delicious and service was second to none.

Quirky, industrial style very laid back but lively atmosphere. Smallish menú but food good, large portions and reasonably priced. Drinks good with nice cocktails.

The staff were polite, friendly and professional. The drinks were lovely and well presented. Unfortunately the food was very greasy and I think there was only one vegetarian option, cauliflower steak with sweet potato fries. Everything on the plate was very greasy without much seasoning/ sauce for flavour.

disappointing brunch experience. Orders got mixed up so half of us had finished before the rest of us got served. The quality was also poor - we had to send back poached eggs which were hard and some items were missed off plates. We won’t be coming back

First visit to clockworks and I am sure it will not be the last. I had the Scouse and it was fantastic. The decor is quite industrial and this will not appeal to everyone but I found it quite quirky. The only criticism I have is the toilets are very dark and they don't appear to have heating which made it quite uncomfortable. I would not like to think what they will be like in the winter months. Staff were lovely. Clockwise is currently surrounded by building work which means its in the middle of a building site which is a shame but hopefully in the future the outside will be as nice as the inside.

Great place, everyone really nice, quick service and the girl serving us made us feel welcome speaking to our 3 year old daughter. Shame the area is under development but clockworks sticks out and I’m sure it will flourish once the works complete in the area. Don’t let that put you off. Really good value for money as well.

As was expected from the reviews that I read about the place. A nice cosy place serving British/Pub food.

Service was a bit slow but food was excellent when it arrived We were given water when we first sat down and the alcoholic drinks were served very quick The atmosphere was great, playing the kind of music that my husband and myself liked So a really good evening !!!!

The breakfast we had was honestly awesome, best we’ve had in a long time. You could tell everything was fresh local produce. Didnt catch his name unfortunately but props to the Scottish guy who initially looked after us - his service outshone everyone else’s.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent mixed plate starter, delicious innovative cauliflower main course. Desserts looked delicious but too full!
