slightly disappointed. Reviews were really good on Trip advisor. I had the pork and whilst really tasty wasn't enough on the plate. Burger was overdone and I feel didn't look like some of the pics. Overall average when was expecting fantastic. Fantastic building however overall food needs an overhaul

What a surprise Clockworks restaurant is, my boyfriend and I thought the food was amazing, the ambiance really quirky, and the desserts mind blowing (the Glasgow Mess - is a must). The staff were so friendly and we found it really easy to book online on the day we visited. My boyfriend had a Bloody Mary cocktail and he said it was one of the best he’d had. We can not recommend this restaurant enough, we did have a slightly longer wait than expected for our food as the restaurant was busy when we arrived but once the food arrived all was forgotten and forgiven - fantastic place. Can’t wait to visit again.

The food was amazing and we enjoyed very welcoming and attentive service. I would definitely come again and would recommend to anyone coming to Liverpool.

Brilliant staff, great food, relaxed atmosphere, music - incredible! Husband even had a football song sang to him by staff as they brought over his birthday cake!

After reading the tripadvisor reviews on Clockworks we were expecting somewhere special, we were disappointed , staff were lovely however , food was a let down , small portion , only one vegetable , not value for money , wouldn’t go again

Loved the food loved the staff loved the music. Everything about the evening was perfect. We had the burgers and fish and chips. Plus deep fried Mars bar yum.

Went for a birthday celebration. Lovely food and wine, great friendly service. Reasonably priced too. We really enjoyed it and would highly recommend this place.

Nice pub(ish) restaurant with live music The menu is limited which was a good point for me however I wouldn’t go there with a group of people with different tastes. We have tried 7 items from the menu they were all delicious.

We really enjoyed our evening. The location in Wolstenholme square is excellent, the restaurant is smart but relaxed. We found the staff friendly and attentive and we were well fed from a simple, unpretentious menu. Honest cooking. We would happily recommend.

Really enjoy the meal and wine. Service was good too but maybe they need another waiter as they were run off there feet trying to look after a full restaurant.

The food was absolutely delicious, and service was excellent. Only drawback was going for the veggie option- I missed out big time! My friend went for Pork Belly and it was the best I've tasted.

Really good breakfasts. Not somewhere you would casually come across as a lot of building work going on around it but definitely worth seeking out. Great value too . I had avocado on sour dough toast with 2 poached eggs -£5 ! Will certainly go back if in Liverpool again

Difficult to find but when you get there there the atmosphere is pleasant and the food delicious. Very reasonable prices and a varied menu with choices for lunch or dinner.

Visited on a Sunday, booked for 1.00, based on Sunday lunch reviews. However, due to high demands for breakfast the roasts were not going to be available until 1.30 - 1.45, which was too late. We had the pork belly as an alternative, which was very good, but disappointed that the Sunday roast wasn't available

Great Venue, Meal superb, Staff and service excellent, ambience great, music excellent, cost fantastic, two courses under £40, plus drinks. Would recommend this to anyone.

Good food - menu not too big etc. and selection of good drinks etc.. Staff attentive. Bit out of the way ( building work all round ) but worth seeking out!

Don't be put off by the building work around about. Well worth visiting, excellent food, friendly staff and worth going a little out of your way. When the building works stop, it will be one of THE places to go in Liverpool

It was Brilliant.Delicious food, affordable prices and most polite staff.Most fabulous waffles and porridge. Everything was fresh, vibrant and tasty.Definitely we will back soon !!!

Arrived to find chef off with mumps. They could have phoned me to advise but clearly couldn't be bothered...that said, my Trip Adviser review will reflect on their unprofessionalism!
