Visited using the January offer of 3 courses for £12.95 - amazing value and outstanding food as always. Love Cote!

The staff were helpful and pleasant but got the bill incorrect twice which had to be pointed out to them. Food was good and we had pleasant couple of hours relaxing in the warmth of the restaurant. We felt the "12.5% optional gratuity" a bit presumptuous already added to the bill. We felt it puerile removing it as would have left a tip.

A refreshing experience to dine in a restaurant where a menu offers a wide range of choice. The service is as it should be, attentive, polite, informative and efficient. With these attributes Cote, along with its charming ambience, will be a restaurant we will definitely return to, time and time again. Thank you Cote for your professionalism.

Very friendly, helpful, happy staff. Breakfast was good. Only criticism was that there was no marmalade only very sweet jam 🙁 which isn’t good.

Very nice meal in nice surrounding. I took advantage of the January offer regards a free bottle of wine with two mains which made the meal good value for money. Tables are a but on the small side is the only negative remark.

First time at Cote Brassiere....we will definitely be back...Everything about our evening was excellent...from being welcomed & shown to our table ...great friendly waiter ( David)..Luvly food ...well presented hot and tasty .......there was a lovely atmosphere..although a Saturday evening and busy ...it didn’t feel hectic ...but a well organised restaurant....

Fantastic food and service as always, good value for money

Booked a table for 12pm Sunday knowing that breakfast is still served at that time. Didn’t receive a breakfast menu and when we asked, got a long explanation of how we could only order breakfast if both of us were eating from that menu! Some issue about health and safety and cross contamination of food! Anyway, we did order breakfast, I had the French breakfast having enjoyed it on the last visit. This time, felt like the black pudding was the last scraps that could be found. Have really enjoyed Cote in the past - this visit knocked things down a bit for the first time.

The restaurant was busy but we waited a long time to order drinks and there were a couple of choices that were out of stock. The waitress lacked finesse when pouring the wine and didn’t offer the chance to taste it before pouring a full glass. Other than that the food was superb.

The food was very good and the service was great. We were accommodated early and there was no rush to leave. I would definitely go again.

Great experience - not sure if it was because we went early (6.30pm) will have to see if it’s the same at 8pm. It was pretty bloody good though, best steak I’ve had for a long time.

Very good service knowledgeable staff when I was asked if everything was ok I remarked that the bed of spinach was rather small they soon send a portion of creamed spinach to our table they also accommodated my request for more Comte and less Roquefort. a much much better experience than our last visit A very good evening !!!

The Romanian gentleman running front of house is utterly professional and excellent. You won't find better service in Basingstoke. The food is always of good quality and well-controlled too.

Good selection on the set menu, food was good quality and fairly priced. Nice atmosphere. Welcoming for children.

Midweek treat, varied menus for all budgets. Attentive, knowledgeable staff and couldn’t have been more helpful. Beautiful food, fantastic ambiance and all in all a wonderful experience.
