Côte Basingstoke

It was so nice to escape the craziness of town on Christmas eve and eat a delicious breakfast in lovely surroundings. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely recommend.

The food was very good and the service was excellent. It was disappointing that an error was made and one person’s meal was forgotten. But it was well handled with staff realising it and correcting the problem rather than us needing to pint it out. Overall a good experience and we’ll definitely be coming back.

We went for our anniversary dinner on Saturday night and the overall experience was amazing! We chose the Christmas menu which all the food was delicious, there was almost too much food but it tasted too good to leave. Our waitress was so kind and attentive, nothing was too much to ask for. Maybe the only possible downside was that we got our food too quick but we weren’t complaining about that! Definitely a place to go for a luxurious dinner! 10/10

Fantastic restaurant with lots of different things to choose from. Perfectly cooked, the staff are friendly and helpful. Can't fault this place it is the best restaurant in Basingstoke.

The service was excellent, we were very well looked after. The food was delicious and delightfully presented I had the Pork Belly, which was well seasoned and extremely tender. My wife enjoyed the grilled Salmon. I would highly recommend the restaurant. The only slight negative was as the restaurant filled, the noise levels rose which made conversation a little difficult.

We had a lovely Christmas lunch. The staff were amazing and everybody enjoyed themselves. This was the second time we've been there and the level of service and quality of food is consistent. Well done. We will be back in the New Year

There was 7 in my party and 6 of us had lovely meals although one of my party said that hers was so salty she couldnt eat it. Would definitely recommend it

We had our staff Christmas meal here and the food and service were amazing. The prebooked food food all came out together and was very tasty. The steaks all cooked to perfection. Unfortunately 2 of our party got stuck in traffic and were an hour late, the staff were fantastic. They seemed to take the delay in their stride, despite me being aware they we were an early booking and they had to turn the table for a sitting after us. (I was more worried about us getting out of their way in time than they were.) All in all a brilliant evening, we will definitely be eating here again.

The service was excellent until we asked for the full menu; we wanted to order deserts. Firstly we were given the Specials Menu and had to ask again for the full menu. We then waited for 15 minutes before anyone came near to our table to call them over.

Excellent service. Food really tasty. We had the 2 course set lunch menu, I had goats cheese salad as a main and it was excellent. My friends had the Haddock Florentine which was tasty but would have been better with a side salad.

We had 4 very good meals with attentive and brilliant service and the ambience was great. The occasion was my 70th and my sons' 50th birthdays. Thank you all.

Once again excellent service and food. The value for money is amazing. We usually choose the Prestige menu and the choices are very good. Need a bit more choice for the Dessert part of those menus though. Noise levels were much better this time as we could hold conversations without shouting. Thanks to all and Happy Christmas.

Nice atmosphere. Service very friendly. Need to take drinks orders straight away though and should ask about bread/olives etc with drinks and should clear empty glasses faster.

First time here, very nice, will be back for the next family, special occasion.

On arrival, shown to our table, and given only two of the menus (the a la carte & the Christmas menu) we had to ask for the “Prestige” set menu. The waitress said she had to “check with her manager” this, despite, an A board outside the restaurant advertising this set menu and it also being on the website at the restaurant where we were. Please serve a chocolate mint, or mini biscuit with your teas/coffees.

Lovely lunch, tasty food and a nice atmosphere. Enjoyable birthday celebration.

A very good breakfast this morning and I have been before so knew it would a good experience. Just one observation - hope you don't mind. An older lady came in & asked about gift vouchers [ we were sitting near the till ]. The guy she spoke to was very friendly & helpful and she spent £120. She was saying how nice everything looked & then she left - out into the pouring rain. I thought it would have been a kind gesture to offer her a beverage ' on the house' as she had spent so much money. The restaurant was very quiet at the time as it was about an hour before the lunch time rush.

Medium rare steak was a little to rare for my taste but other than that all good.

As always didn’t disappoint, staff excellent and food superb, only criticism if I had to make one was the fixed menu wasn’t given out, assumed as it was December wasn’t available,

I regularly go to various Cote restaurants this is not one of the best. The noise level due to lack of sound insulation e.g. hard floor, walls ceiling ,no curtains, drapes or soft wall coverings and the type of people this venue attracts, our table of 4 was the only one with two me at it, to hold a conversation was virtually impossible

Food is very high quality with many delicious options. Will definitely be coming back.
