Côte Basingstoke

Fantastic! Had a great evening celebrating my sons 21st birthday. Really lovely waitress who really went above and beyond to make the evening special. Thankyou to the whole team!

Although I am a regular diner at Cote Brasserie, this was my first visit to Cote Basingstoke. Every aspect of the experience was excellent. The occasion was a business lunch and the staff were very accommodating in providing a table with a little more privacy, which was much appreciated.

As per usual the food was delicious. The service excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

We have eaten many times at other Cote restaurants but not at the Basingstoke one. We assumed the service and food would be similar but disappointingly it was not. I chose lamb and the waitress instead of asking how I would like it cooked assumed I would like it medium rare. I asked for medium and received lamb that was cooked on the outside but rare in the centre. I informed them of this. To be fair the deserts were as good as at other branches but after they were served we were left to our own devices and I eventually asked for the bill at the bar after a dozen failed attempts to catch the staffs attention. They must be issued blinkers.

Had a wonderful time, really looked after us. Our waitress Paula was fantastic.

Went to Basingstoke Côte as had Hospital appointment in the area. Usually go to the Winchester Côte. Food was delicious and service was good there too. Would definitely visit Basingstoke Côte in the future.

Food was average service was very slow. Staff not very attentive.

I always enjoy going to Cote at its various locations. And usually the food is exceptionally good and good value. But now and then things go wrong and my Egg Royal was very poorly prepared and presented. But on my returning the dish, not only was it out right and tasted as good as usually but we also weren’t charged for the item. So no complaints really

Good food at reasonable prices Ed my 3rd visit here , service to get the bill and then to pay was slow, surprised as was not too busy today, however recommended as this has not been my past experience

The food was excellent as always, service was good but had room for improvement, although to be fair the waitress was new. Unfortunately the extras we ordered were forgotten and milk for the coffee never arrived! We love Cotes in Farnham which seems faultless, so the bar is set high. This being said, we shall return again another day.

Great service and very friendly staff. Me and my husband enjoyed food and hospitality however , it was quite busy after some hours of our arrival and due to many people it was too noisy but overall it was a great experience and good time for us ❤️

whole 3 course meal served in 55 minutes! Some night out that was!!! Noise level very bad. Shame though nice decor, Lovely people and lovely food. If I wanted fast food I would go to Mac D.....in fact the noise level would be lower there!!!

Three of us went to lunch, two of us sent our chicken back as it was undercooked which is highly dangerous. They gave us the food back 15 minutes later when they had cooked it , however my husband had finished his lunch by then and had to watch my daughter and I, eat ours. Not ideal, I would not go here again.

I’m a big fan of Cote in general and the Basingstoke restaurant is bright and airy, with ample outdoor seating. As usual the breakfast was delicious. Perfect for a sunny Sunday morning.

Though someone promised us bread before our meal and failed to deliver this but wanted a full 12.5% service charge/tip at the end? Hmmm.....

We felt we had to keep asking 2 or 3 times for everything, drinks, napkin (which wasn't on the table to start with), even the bill, we had to ask 3 times for....

Staff member too busy chatting to other diners to take note we were waiting to pay our bill. At least 10-12 minutes.

Although there were many free tables the manager insisted in putting us by the entrance door as it was really cold. This was annoying considering we had booked well in advance . 12.5% tip is rather high when the norm in the UK is 10% our waitress was really good and the food was good.

Relaxed and enjoyable would definitely recommend. Great food a good customer service
