Popped up to Kensington to take my wife out for her birthday meal (she was working up there). Chose Cote because we enjoy the Covent Garden pre-theatre. So glad I did because, as usual, the food was excellent and a very reasonable price. Great service, efficient & friendly.

Delicious food from SpecialsMenu with complementary gin & tonic cocktails. Excellent, cheerful service from enthusiastic team and great atmosphere. A perfect way to spend Friday evening.

Very busy and no table despite reservation. Was left hanging around in the corridor for 10 mins. Food ok but have had better in other Cote restaurants. Service very unattentive as so busy. Star of the service was Ana Marie who went out of her way to offer excellent customer service. Men in Black aka manager not doing very much at all other than take diners to their table. Probably won’t go back as too many other choices in High Street Ken but big shout out to Ana Marie.

Excellent service and food. It was busy but didn’t wait too long. Very polite and friendly staff. Loved the tomato soup and boeuf en croute.

Excellent meal and good service in a very friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Disappointing that we were charged for the much promoted March Gin aperitifs! Otherwise, as always a great dining experience at Cote in Kensington.

Very friendly service, excellent food, and good value for money. A very enjoyable meal. My tart au citron was delicious. Tangy lemon and thin, crisp pastry. Thankyou.

As an elderly widow, your kind offer of the delicious chocolate mousse was much appreciated and enticing .Booking online was easy and successful, a booster for the morale of one who is not too skilled at IT work. .A very warm welcome was lovely, especially being alone on Easter Sunday. Staff were courteous and efficient. The Risotto Verde was wonderful, great flavour and most appropriate for a Springtime Lunch. The Chocolate Mousse was outstanding, followed by a perfect latte. The Cote at Kensington is my favourite, spacious, always well maintained, will return soon to my table by the window. Thank you for my Happy Easter experience.

Great good at a great price and lovely service. I honestly don't think I get better food at gastro pubs, and many of the so called 'top end' London restaurants.

It was a busy evening so the service was a little slower than usual but was excellent as always. Food was well presented, excellently cooked and tasted wonderful. All six of us had a different main course and they were all delicious.

Our entire experience from booking right through to leaving was excellent. I thought the staff were incredibly efficient and friendly, and given that the restaurant has to cater for a sudden rush of people going to concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, they do it so well. The food was amazing and authentically French. It doesn’t feel like a chain restaurant. My only criticism would be that the wine we were given as the complementary wine for signing up to the newsletter was not of a good enough quality for the restaurant. It was virtually undrinkable.

We were placed at a table right next to the waiter's station and were disturbed by the constant chatter and clattering of wine glasses. The division between the station and out table was constantly being bumped into by staff and it was not a pleasant experience. I have eaten in Cote in many venues in many towns and this was the worst.

As ever, a lovely atmosphere at the Kensington Cote. An imaginative menu suiting a wide range tastes and pockets. The Prestige Menu offers really good value for money and can be used at any time (unlike the set menu). The a la carte menu is always available. The service was initially very good although we did have to wait rather too long for the bill after the dessert (a small point).

Calamari starter good, asparagus risotto over-cooked and tasteless, peach crumble truly awful, no flavor and literally boiling hot. Drinks very expensive. Pleasant staff and good service.

This is the best spot for lunch in Kensington. It's a deal, it attracts a great crowd, the staff team could not be more helpful and lunch is delicious.

The food was good quality and the set menu is excellent value for money. No problem with paying for the extras as that was expected. It was quite busy but the service was very attentive and the ambience was good ( not too noisy). Only slight gripe is the price of drinks, £9 for a glass of wine was rather more than I would have expected for the quality.

Great food and lovely, friendly staff in one of the better Cote branches in London. Had a relaxed feel to it and didn't feel packed in like some Bistros in London. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

The lamb shank was just just what was needed in such cold weather and cooked just as I like it. We had a very nice bottle of wine on the house which went down very well after Dry January! Although we were an hour early we still managed to have our favourite table.

Good meal as usual, BUT..... Just one problem as some of my veg was lukewarm. I did mention this when paying, but not whilst eating (as I didn't have time for a hold up if it was sent back) They apologised, but perhaps something more could be done when the food is slightly under par? Discount for next time perhaps?

We always eat in a Cote restaurant when in London. This branch was close to the Royal Albert Hall and was perfect for a pre concert meal. We were greeted by Alberto who was extremely friendly and courteous. The food was excellent as usual and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. We will definitely visit again.
