we both had pork belly, very tasty, but served in a large pasta bowl (weird); service was a bit random however maybe they were understaffed on a bank holiday; overall enjoyable

Great place to meet up for a girlie lunch. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our food and drink as well.

A quiet coffee and lunch for me, which was perfectly lovely and I was well looked aftet before the lunch rush. Delicious crunchy fresh bread, classic french onion soup in a rustic bowl, refreshing tomato salad. Coffee could be improved as I'm spoilt by barista standards now but was very generous.

new menu, new wine list, new prices! Cote has upped its game, but it is now head to head with restaurants that do it better. food good, but not sure vibe matches pricing now.

our favourite dish, breton fish stew, has a new recipe - heavy tomato sauce with lots of tinned tomatoes, no potatoes, impossible to taste the seafood - and new presentation - big bowl, bread balanced on top instead of basket (use table for bread? I don't think so); we were both very disappointed and will not order again

we all enjoyed our Breton fish stew, our table was in a very noisy part of the restaurant which made conversation difficult, but the food compensated

we tried the prix fixe menu; I had whitebait (tasteless but crispy), toulouse sausages with lentils (sausages ok-ish, lentils very good), and the tart (fair); my friend had the mushroom soup (nice), chicken (fair) and chocolate mousse (good); the olives beforehand were very tasty

service super slow, we thought we'd been forgotten, they even forgot the mineral water till after the food turned up at last, but actual meal enjoyable apart from stale bread

early supper in a fairly empty restaurant, had to move table due to noisy group (something wrong with the acoustics in the place), however food was very good, a generous pork belly and a tasty breton fish stew, both much enjoyed

We had an excellent experience at Cote Kensington. When I had booked I asked for a quiet table away from noise, and the waitress took us to a table at the far end of the restaurant and even turned the music down where we were which I thought was excellent service! The food was delicious and the service was very attentive but not annoying. We had a lovely relaxed dinner and we’re not rushed. Thank you!

a long slow lunch with 3 old friends who haven't been together for ages; very agreeable, aside from the too loud music with thumping beat which (combined with the usual lively chatter noicse of a busy lunchtime) made conversation between those not immediately adjacent almost impossible; charming service

after declining a table near the (freezing) door next to a noisy group, we were seated at a banquette table which was very pleasant; good food apart from poor chips, and pleasant service

As usual at Cote, this was a very good meal served efficiently and with a friendly manner. This is also an attractive place to be. However, the prices are now notably higher and it has to be said that Cote no longer provides as good value as previously.

Wounderful Birthday Celebration at our Favorite Restaurant!!! Completely safe for those worried about COVID since tables are suitably distanced and health and safety measures respected. Food was great and atmosphere perfect. We are booking here for Christmas as usual.

A perfectly good meal which goes a long way to make up for last weekend when we had two bookings for Westbourne grove only to find that they had closed apparently permanently. Keep your customers informed.

Excellent as always, all staff whether they are serving your table give you such a warm welcome. We felt so comfortable there, you can tell cote has taken the time and effort to become a covid secure venue, such a shame you had to close once again. My son is 5 years old and cote is his go to place and loves the activity pack. This was a last minute booking as a result of the tier 3 announcement or étage trios as we were calling it yesterday. One of the very few venues im happy to pay service charge. The staff are really a reflection of the quality at cote. We will be back. Stay safe and well. To start with , you took a booking no Wed the 2nd of Dec for a table for 3 at Westbourne grove cotes for the evening of the 4th , it was only when my wife walked passed the restaurant on that morning and saw it still closed that I called to check , only to find you had taken a booking for a closed restaurant , I was told that you had taken the restaurant of your web site so I could not have booked there and must of made a mistake !! I hung up , went to a search engine put in Cotes Westbourne grove and was able to book a second table at the closed restaurant, After calling back and finally being believed, a reservation at a second choice restaurant was made As this was for a birthday celebration it was very stressful to go through , When we finally got to the restaurant, after following the incorrect details given by your phone operator, The staff were very friendly, and service was fair , Food was good, and the complementary birthday sweet was a very nice touch The Irish coffees however were another thing The coffee in the drink was so strong that it totally drowned the taste of the whiskey and cream at was undrinkable, although a £6.50 discount was added to the bill this did not cover the price of the really bad coffees

The food is outstanding. I had to Fish Permentier and my friend chose a chicken dish from the Set Menu. Both were excellent! Followed by chocolate mousse for her and creme caramel for me - equally delicious. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and the service is excellent. Our second time here. We'll be back!
