Crab Mayonaise followed by Breton Fish Stew with a complimentary Birthday Kir Royale. My wife had the King Prawns followed by Steak Frite and French Fries. All absolutely lovely with quite a buzz despite the early evening - perhaps people were avoiding the Cup Final and Eurovision Song Contest!!
The staff were very efficient and helpful. Atmosphere good although we were grateful to be in the quieter area as it was a very busy and noisy lunchtime (Fathers Day). Thank you for making my mother’s 92nd birthday special with a birthday cake.
Brilliant as ever!!! Especially the lovely lady who I believe was the manger today, sorry I don’t know her name but she has a little boy of nearly 2yes, she is wonderful and I come there definitely because of her fantastic service and the way we are treated
As always, a delicious meal, welcoming staff, what more can I say? I invited a friend who had never been to Cote before, she was very impressed.
We enjoyed a delicious meal at Cote Amersham. The food was amazing and the service second to none. Will be going back as soon as possible!
Being in the hospitality industry myself it was my first time at cote brasserie, it was great, food was great, service was good and the restaurant layout was great, When we first arrived we were greeted by a very charming lady who made you feel welcome and show us to our table. I had two problems with this place and one was my chair, i should have asked for one without armrests but i was embarrassed as im a big guy. So we waited for the rest of our table to show when a waitress offered us some bread and olives while waiting which was great. Our guests arrive 10 minutes later and one of which was a pregnant lady and soon as they sat down then waitress pounced on to us asking if we were ready to order, we said we need a few minutes to have a look to which she didn't look to happy with. 5 minutes later she arrived again and she didn't look to happy to be there and took our order and left. From there on it was great, starter arrive promptly and after finishing them main arrived. Now ive been to a fair few restaurant and not once was a check back to see if everything was ok which i found odd, we ate and wait 10 minutes for a plate to be cleared, the restaurant was packed at this point which was great to see! The whole follow of the team working together was great. Our mains got cleared and we had another member of staff offer us dessert menus to look at, she was a happy member of staff. Our original waitress came back to take the order and looked disinterested. The pregnant woman on our table asked if we could get a refill on her water and the waitress said ok but didnt come back. She waited 10 minutes for water and our dessert came out, i asked another member of staff if we could get water and they did it with an instant. Our desserts were good and waited another 10 minutes for plates to be cleared. We asked for the bill and our original waitress came back to take payment not making any conversion with us or asked us how it was. To me that was strange but overall a great night, will definitely be going again!
My partner & I enjoyed our lunchtime experience at Cote. We have given 5 stars in 5 of the 6 categories & this reflects our satisfaction & enjoyment. The food courses were excellent. Value for money was the only category that we gave 5 out of 6 stars. This reflects that we felt we had to choose from the al a carte menus since we felt the choices on offer for the set menu were limited. We felt this was the only aspect where we think an improvement could be made.
A great atmosphere, attentive but not over bearing service, tasty food. Thanks for the complementary drinks as it was my husbands birthday. Will definitely recommend and be back.
Normally your staff are excellent, however on this occasion the wine waiter we considered to be arrogant, but then we suspect he was French and maybe Parisian!!

Good food, good service, good atmosphere in an enjoyable setting at the front.
Great food and service delivered promptly. Staff very polite and attentive
Good food but did have to wait for the food to be put in front of me, even the waitress apologised for the delay in service
All very good especially service but the noise levels are unsatisfactory ( many others have made the same point ) and efforts should be made to introduce some form of “white noise” or similar.
I have always given Cote in Amersham excellent reviews but this will be my last visit. Why? I paid over £25 for 3 glasses of sauvignon blanc tonight. That is really OTT and on reflection it could have been cheaper to buy the whole bottle. Goodbye Cote been nice to know you.
Had not been to a Cote before but visited Amersham branch with my sister last week and had a lovely lunch. Decided to do the same this week with a friend. The staff are lovely; friendly, polite and attentive, and the food was delicious. Thank you. I will definitely return!
We had a lovely meal served by friendly staff & the manageress was so helpful & kept us a table we had asked for. The duck was really yummy!!

This was a birthday lunch with family members not all arriving on time. The staff were wonderful and completely unflappable and the food is also worth visiting Cote food, Thank you for your service. The restaurant is in a beautiful area and as expected a reservation was a very good idea.
Lovely welcome, friendly staff, nice meal, not hurried, what more could one ask for? Good choice of set menus, nice atmosphere, so one to visit again.
We had a very nice meal on Bank Holiday Monday. Unfortunately, the Rhubarb Martini Cocktails were not available but the restaurant substituted for other drinks which was very good. The food was excellent as usual and good service.

Good atmosphere with friendly staff. Lovely breakfast and plenty of choice . Made to feel very welcome as a group of 7 with our one year old grandson.
Lovely evening, second visit in a month so that must tell you something! Only let down by long wait for a drink on arrival and slightly longer to wait for service throughout the evening. Waiter seemed rather stretched. Cannot criticise his work ethic however, he was looking after a too many guests alone. Criticism: Very Very loud. Due to a large and noisy party in the centre of the main room. Could not have a sensible conversation with the person sitting next to me. Would I go back? Probably!
The sun was shining and so we took the option of eating outside. Perfect! The food, as always, excellent and the service, by Polly, was first class! Outstanding! Thank you! x
I normally like Cote but this experience was disappointing. It took some time to get our nibbles and drinks. Food arrived in batches not together. Meat was cooked well done when asked medium rare. The service was patchy. Disappointed.
I really love Cote Amersham and I have been here more than once. It has a great menu with lots of different choices and I visited on this occasion as a party of 4. I had booked in advance and requested a table by the window. The restaurant was very busy and we were told no window table was available which was disappointing. We were seated in the rear section of the restaurant looking straight at a table for 4 in the window occupied by 2 ladies. We were told that should a table become available we could move. It was extremely noisy and right by the station where the condiments and glasses were stored. Service was slow, but it was very crowded. When it came to ordering we were told there was no Camembert or goats cheese available. Disappointing. Sadly, there was an incident where several glasses smashed into the floor/station immediately beside us whilst we were eating our starters. We found this disconcerting. At the same time the table opposite in the window became free, and we asked if we could move to that one or the booth next to it away from the glass. We were told they had to check and see if the table was booked which was also annoying considering we had requested in advance ourselves. We did eventually move across for our main course. All in all it wasn't really the experience I am used to at Cote. Which is a shame because, as I said at the top of my comments I really love this restaurant, well, I do usually. It was just a bit of a shambles really.
Everything about this restaurant was good. Value for money the food and the service could not be faulted. It consistently produces which is very rare these days in a chain!
Most enjoyable meal, have never had a bad meal there, friendly staff without being over effusive. The 3 course menu is always brilliant value and uses seasonal ingredients which is ideal.
Nice touch to print out sunset for our outdoor table in the sun
Always a good atmosphere with friendly staff. And the food is superb.
Food was very tasty although the goat’s cheese salad had far too much lettuce. Pork belly very nuce. Service was quick and efficient. Would definitely return.
The staff are so caring and thoughtful. A lovely atmosphere in the booth at back of restaurant. A great place to meet monthly with friends.
Food was pretty poor. Sorry. Risotto was oily and stodgy, fish pie really poor, green beans had seen better days and looked rather grey and monkfish dish was described as ‘odd’
Lovely early evening meal tonight, great food and excellent service. Special mention for Beth the manager who was extremely chatty and welcoming to our group. Thank you
Well looked after by the lovely friendly staff. Asked for a quiet table and got it. Left to enjoy our meal but appeared to take orders and clear table at just the right time. Our favourite restaurant 👍
We are regular diners at Cote Amersham and the meal we from the Prestige Menu on Friday 8th March was really excellent - unbeatable in terms of value for money for such high quality food in todays restaurant scene. Our starters of Calamari and Mussels were both great but the main course of Breton chicken was memorable. Beautifully succulent and well seasoned it was the best chicken both of us had tasted for years. Accompanied by an excellent bottle of Viognier at about £20 this was a simple but classy meal with attentive service to match
Thank you again Cote Amersham. Excellent all round. The usual excellent menu, food, ambiance, helpful and happy staff! We enjoy the monthly additions/ changes to the menu, we will be back soon!
Pleasant atmosphere and very good value. Pity it doesn't have a garden. The complimentary cocktails were excellent. Worth coming on a regular basis, almost as nice as Windsor or Marlow.
Food great, staff friendly and helpful all in very pleasant surroundings
Very good service food high quality and the asparagus was well cooked
The noise was the downside, that and the fact that we were seated alongside what was obviously a main throughway and Was a issue for a member of our party who has mobility problems and could not move fast. Otherwise, food, serveice and value for money were all very good.
Meal was lovely. Served nice and hot and good quality. Had delightful helpful waiter as well. Fab experience and our friends who were visiting loved it!
Great food, restaurant very busy and stressful staff made me a bit stressed watching them! Staff were extremely friendly, quite a noisy restaurant in general but sitting near the front is much better
Lovely meal as usual, and great staff. Reasonably priced too, one of my favourite restaurants.
We are always pleased with our experience at Cote. Proffessional and friendly staff and service with very good food very well presented. Thank you we had a very good time this evening,
As always our experience at Cote Amersham was excellent. The staff were attentive and the food and wine was excellent. Job well done to our server Beth.
Always have a great meal, great staff always very helpful such a bonus to old Amersham good food and great value would always be our first choice.
Nice evening out - food very good - the monkfish wrapped in bacon was excellent and staff were helpful and attentive and even offered us a glass of rose sparkling wine to celebrate my wife's birthday which was a pleasant surprise.
Good food and reasonably priced. Lost a star because all four of us agreed that our cooked breakfast was just off cold. Nevertheless, delicious.
Very enjoyable lunch, excellent flavour as always and friendly, attentive staff. Throw in the sunshine today, what could be better. Perhaps the skin could,be crispy next time on the sea bass! Great value.
Service is brilliant... food could be improved, ours was slightly cold and the steak a bit too dry. I would certainly go back soon though!!!!
I prefer food served on plates rather than boards and glass pots. Also prefer table for four to be one rectangular table rather than two round tables.
