We used the branch In Old Amersham High Street, to enjoy a great breakfast experience. A relaxed but professional atmosphere, with pleasant staff and excellent, slightly unusual food choices. Well done Cote!
As always the food is good and the staff help create a relaxed and enjoyable environment. We are regular visitors to Cote restaurants and long may it continue
Great food, great service and great company! The brunch was so so delicious and the deal for a hot drink, juice and cooked breakfast offer was good value for money.
Great menu choice and the food was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive and it was nice that they didn't rush us through our meal.
Restaurant very busy so they were running an hour behind on reservation times but all was good as looked after by the manager and team whom were very apologetic so therefore good customer service even though waited an hour.
Cote Brasserie in Old Amersham is always a pleasure to visit. Great staff and service and really yummy food. You will not be disappointed. Just go !!
Good varied menu and attentive appropriate service by our waiter. We chose a table that from experience avoided noise levels that are difficult in some parts of this restaurant.
First class food and service. As always! It's just a class above all the other "French" restaurants we have frequented over the past few years.
Consistent as usual although this was my first visit to this branch. Nice feel to the place although acoustics aren't brilliant, but we did have a bit of a party group quite close by
First time been at this particular venue. Lovely atmosphere, food excellent as usual and lovely staff. Really enjoyed and so handy in terms of location
Member of staff dropped broken glass into our booth. Little apology & still had the audacity to put service on the bill! Starters were great, mains good food but little flavour.
our latest visit to Cotes Amersham fully met our expectations. The staff are always courteous and helpful and the food most enjoyable.Certainly good value. Thanks to all for a lovely evening.
Fantastic Staff and as always great food. This is a great chain and whilst I d'ont normally eat at chains you are my exception. I have great times whenever I go and well done!
This was an early Mother's Day treat hosted by my daughter. We had a very tasty double starter of mussels and whitebait which we shared and then chose sea bream and steak frites. The fish was cooked perfectly and the steak just a little overdone (so ask which side of medium you would prefer!) We finished with chocolate pot and coffee. Everything was delicious, the ambience busy but relaxed, and the service was friendly and attentive. I won't be waiting for another Mother's Day before I return!
The first course came really quickly but the second was slow. The food was delicious, when it came. They could not meet my request for a window table and thought the table was for 2 not three. Friendly staff, whom I would have tipped, but I don't like it when the tip is automatically included in the bill, as I'm never sure who gets it. I don't get the loyalty scheme- too complicated. I didn't get my free bottle of wine, as we didn't order the right things! Sounds as if I I can get it next time.
It is not in my nature to deliver plaudits but I have to say I was very impressed, not only with the quality of the food but also the presentation, and especially the staff who clearly enjoyed being there serving with professionalism and good humour.
Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Both my husband and I ordered duck breast for main course. Unfortunately the duck was very tough. We mentioned this to the waitress and she said that she would tell the chef.
A very enjoyable meal Food and service was delightful and the staff obliging friendly when I wanted to slightly alter the menu. Would happily return to the restaurant.
We visited on a Tuesday lunchtime. There was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant, excellent service and good choice on the menus. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and food was hot and served up very quickly.
Very comfortable ambience and attentive service. Absolutely delicious food expertly cooked and attractively presented without pretentiousness. Deserts are to die for - the chocolate mousse was the best I've ever tasted and my fiancee swooned over the creme caramel.
Good evening had by our party of four, good choice on the menu plenty to choose from. The service was effiecient as was our waiter.
Great food, good value and friendly service. Always a good choice of specials. First time we have been for Sunday lunch and will do it again.
Very good, food and service was excellent, will definitely return and very happy to recommend restaurant Could have better lager options, maybe offer Heineken/Budweiser as an option
went for early dinner and wasn't disappointed. Great menu and offers! Food was excellent as was the service despite being very busy! I be back !!
We went at lunchtime on a Friday. Good service and the manageress was friendly and efficient. Lunch menu offered a good choice at a reasonable price.
Great food and service at Cote Amersham tonight. The artichoke starter was delicious and the steak to follow was cooked perfectly. We will return for another dinner soon.
Shockingly poor service combined with average food. Waited 5 minutes for someone to greet me at the front desk and finally met by a ridiculously over the top, but well meaning, manageress. We ordered Haddock which was overcooked. We had made a reservation for 8 of us to go their in April but will now cancel.
A warm welcome on arrival. The staff were friendly & attentive during our visit. The service was prompt & efficient. The coffee was good & strong & the pastry delicious.
Very popular restaurant, the staff were rushed off their feet as every table was occupied. We were having lunch with friends so it didn't matter that lunch took 2 hours, however not the place to go if you wanted a quick lunch. Food and value for money really good which is why its so popular.
The staff are very welcoming, the restaurant has a lively but relaxed vibe and the food is of a very high standard. Have eaten there 3 times in 9 days! The creme caramel is simply the best dessert I have ever tasted. Highly recommend.
The welcome and service at the restaurant was good. The food was very average and the low ceilings meant it was very noisy and difficult to have a conversation. Value for money on the set menu is good but the food and noise would put me off from returning.
We had a great table (noisy neighbours), but a superb waiter to start with. Food was good as always, although my veal escalope was a little to rare for me. Unfortunately the waiter must have left as we were having the main course. Then the service went downhill and there was no-one to be seen to ask for the bill, so I eventually got up and went to the desk and waited for a waiter, who gave me the bill and I paid. He then had to go to another till to process my payment and he brought me the change. I would like to think that it was just an unfortunate evening.
Cote is always consistent with a reasonable standard. The highlight was the wine which was reasonable. If you don't go there with high expectations it is enjoyable
The food was very good but the service was slow. People who came in after us got their food before us. I was brought a Creme Caramel instead of a Creme Brûlée because the blow torch was not working. I would have preferred it if I was asked what I would like instead. We were given our coffee and dessert "on the house" because of the food being so long and the dessert.
My husband and I enjoyed a relaxed and delicious meal at Cote last night. We were well looked after and I couldn't fault anything. Looking forward to returning again soon.
Good food, great service. Just a little disappointed that I missed the "optional" service charge that was included in the bill, and thus paid twice for that element.
We had hot Pea soup and Frisée Lardons to start followed by Minute Steak(pink) and Breaded Butterfly Chicken, both with sides of French beans. All were excellent and we asked the waitress to pass our compliments to the Chef. We both said we will definitely come back soon. With two glasses of wine and a bottle of French beer, the bill came to £54 with tip, which we both agreed was good value. If I am going to be picky the waitress who showed us to our table was a bit casual about dropping the menus on the table and then walked in front of me as I was going to move to my seat. The other staff were very good and friendly.
Food quality good, service was slow with regard to placing order and getting kids menu. Once our food arrived the service got more efficient. Dessert menu we had to ask for.
As always a great value lunch at a Cote restaurant. From the moment you arrived the staff make you feel welcome. They are very attentive and ensure your food arrives promptly. The menu is excellent and the food delicious, no wonder that they are always busy! Cote never disappoints .
A delightful welcome as usual. Restaurant busy and cheerful and all the staff team good humoured, attentive, and pleased to see us, and food enjoyable. Will return.
