Lovely food as always . Nice to see it was busy but they were able to serve in a timely manner. Staff as always polite and friendly . Our favourite restaurant In Birmingham in a lovely location.

Nice restaurant and setting! Food was nice and service excellent. I had the chicken liver parfait to start which was nice with toasted chunky bread and pickle. I had the Pork Belly for mains although the pork was over cooked and a bit dry in my opinion, lovely flavours though of the Savoy cabbage and creamy potatoes

I always love eating at Côte in the Mailbox and today my family and I enjoyed a very pleasant Mother’s Day Champagne Brunch. Great food, helpful, friendly staff and excellent service. My mum who had never been before, is a new convert and I am looking forward to my next visit.

I booked a table for eight people but more decided to join us and we ended up being a party of 14. The staff did not bat an eyelid, simply moved tables together o fit us all in. It was a great night, the food was exceptionally good, fantastic value and everyone had a great time. I think this is now my new favourite restaurant chain. Many thanks to all the staff at cote brasserie, Mailbox, Birmingham. I have just noticed that the review asks for a rating on noise level - we may have been a bit noisy so apologies if we disturbed other diners.

Fantastic food and the service was faultless. The atmosphere was great and we really enjoyed our experience at Coté Birmingham so will be returning again!

Sadly not the best experience we expect from Cote. Our garlic bread was hard, my friends asked for his meat to be cooked rare and it was overcooked.The wait time in between courses was unacceptable.

The beef en croute and pan fried haddock were excellent.The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will return when we are in Birmingham again. Thank you.

Seated immediately, after booking online. The waiting staff are very attentive and quick to serve, no long waiting periods. The food choice on the set menu is excellent with a varied choice. Prompt service, beautiful food and lovey atmosphere. Always enjoy coming back!

Had a lovely meal at Birmingham and the staff were lovely especially Matt the assistant manager. He looked after us especially well and was very polite and helpful. Won't hesitate to go back as made to feel so welcome.

Good service, friendly staff and nice food. 3 courses for under £20 good value before 7 pm! We will definitely be coming back sometime soon hopefully.

Chicken on valentines set menu wasdry bland and boring. It sounded quite fancy however it was literally a dry chicken breast and standard mashed potato. Very underwhelming and disappointing. Not a single vegetable in sight.

Good was fantastic , service was good , rated lower as three out if the four diners were served main courses whilst the 4th had to wait , awkward for the three being polite waiting for my food to arrive . But generally a good experience so thank you .

Ask for medium rare steak it come out rare! Had to send food back because waiter sneezed No one checked to see if our meals was fine

I was with a party of four. Three had the seafood linguini which they were very pleased with, but I had the haddock and pea option. Unfortunately the haddock was dry and hard which spoiled my meal completely. It is the first time I have had a meal at Cote which was not excellent. But you can't be brilliant 100% of the time!

We are regular bookers because of the excellent service offered by Cote and the attention to detail. We book as a family group and it is a perfect family restaurant. My mother in law is coeliac and they always have a wide choice for her.

Nice food, good service and value for money. Booked through a Special Offer email and got free cocktails to start with. All dishes served promptly and were hot unlike a lot of places these days where warm food seems to be the norm. Have been to this branch of Coté a number of times over the years and always find it to be of a high standard.

Another great meal with friends. Love the French onion soup and Breton chicken. Really good food. Cheeky with your service charges , should check if customer happy to pay rather than assuming.

I had a lovely meal with my three friends on June 5th. The service was good and most of the food excellent There was a problem with one main course which was swiftly rectified and removed from the bill. Wonderful veggie/vegan selection Many thanks

Had a birthday dinner for my husband, all the staff were so friendly and we were well looked after. Thank for taking care of us and the birthday treats. We had a wonderful night with you guys.

Steak and pork were too dry and over cooked. For the quality,I should not be paying 15% for service charge.

Very quick initial service, if anything too eager to take our orders, After main then seemed to be ignore, did get desert, but would have enjoyed a coffee but not approaches Had to find staff to ask for the bill

Staff were very attentive, the restaurant was nice and clean. Food was lovely, I had the Fish Parmentiere and my partner had Steak Frittes.

Had an amazing table on the terrace, staff were very attentive and accommodating. The manager went out of his way to check we were happy. We all ordered different items & everyone enjoyed everything. As always a great place to eat.

This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately we chose a very busy day and they had sold out of the meal that I had chosen online. However the food was excellent, above the standard that we had come to expect from restaurants in the locality. The white wine however could have been more chilled. The food, drinks and service were all excellent but I would prefer the service charge not to be added automatically to the bill so that I could choose what tip to leave.
