The food and waiter were really good and it was really nice to have a free bottle of wine would definitely go again

Sadly not the best experience we expect from Cote. Our garlic bread was hard, my friends asked for his meat to be cooked rare and it was overcooked.The wait time in between courses was unacceptable.

Good service, friendly staff and nice food. 3 courses for under £20 good value before 7 pm! We will definitely be coming back sometime soon hopefully.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening. Staff were brilliant and the food fresh and well prepared.Will be returning shortly.

We were welcomed very warmly after turning up late for our booking. We had a lovely table waiting for us, which as it was a special occasion was what we’d asked for. The service was great and the food was delicious. A great evening. Thank you Côte x

Ask for medium rare steak it come out rare! Had to send food back because waiter sneezed No one checked to see if our meals was fine

We are regular bookers because of the excellent service offered by Cote and the attention to detail. We book as a family group and it is a perfect family restaurant. My mother in law is coeliac and they always have a wide choice for her.

As always excellent friendly service by well informed staff.Good food nice wine .Can get noisy at peak times due to parties but no more than most popular restaurants .

Generally Lovely but when we entered me and my mum were ignored my two waiters which felt kind of rude. Once a waiter finally did attend to us it was fine. It was a bit too noisy but we understand for a busy mothers day. The food was good, the tart wasnt the most almondly but still lovely and amazing cinnamon icecream!!

Lovely food and polite service. My only complaint is we were sat by the door which is cold and had people constantly walking past. We asked to be moved but they only gave us a table slightly further away and I now had the sun in my eyes for half the meal. A couple who came in just after were given a better table at the back which was annoying since I had booked weeks in advance. Perhaps they were known to the manager.

Well trained staff, and i mean well trained .When we asked to move tables it was no problem. We were allowed to order a drink before ordering, it was also no problem,not like other restaurants,where the mantra seems to be get them get them out in 45.mins. Just the right amount of time between courses to make it a pleasant experience. Well cooked food at a good price, need i go on? The only problem was the wine selection. Yes i know, it is a french restaurant but they could try wines from other regions of the world on a guest basis. this is the area that prevents me from giving "COTE" the full 6 stars.

Having visited your restaurants in London, we knew the high standards to expect and were not disappointed. We look forward to another visit when next in Birmingham.

Me and my partner had a lovely evening last night. My partner is gluten & dairy intolerant and we had 3 different people who were very understanding then went over & above to cater to her needs. When we come back to Birmingham we will be coming back 100%! Thank you!

An excellent menu with prices to suit all pockets. Friendly waiting staff and good food. Highly recommend for all occasions and well situated near the canal.

Another great meal with friends. Love the French onion soup and Breton chicken. Really good food. Cheeky with your service charges , should check if customer happy to pay rather than assuming.

The food, drinks and service were all excellent but I would prefer the service charge not to be added automatically to the bill so that I could choose what tip to leave.

Really enjoyed this place on 2 occasions. Good service and great food. However, I am not happy with a service charge being applied to my bill. I will always tip but not happy at being told how much. And I think 12.5% is too much.

Wonderful service, waiters are always brilliant. I don’t catch the gentleman’s name but he was a fantastic waiter, very very nice. Food lovely, lot sold out but always the case on Mother’s Day.

This was our first visit to Côte Brasserie but we certainly hope that is not our last after spending a lovely couple of hours enjoying great service and wonderful food. My wife & I enjoyed every moment & every mouthful. Even the carrots served as a side dish were perfect, offering a freshness & sweetness of flavour that is uncommen in such chain restaurants. Delightful! I guess then, that my rating of their place in Birmingham may seem like over the top hyperbole to some but we felt it was a brilliant example of just how good such places as this could and should be.

A great way to end an afternoon shopping. A cocktail, followed by bread and olives, a chicken dish to die for with a glass of house wine. Well done Cote Birmingham.

Really nice pre-theatre meal Excellent value for money as we had the 2 course lunch menu which has plenty to choose from. Staff were all friendly and the service was good. Beautiful surroundings on a sunny evening really love the living wall in the outside eating area.

We came as a group of mums of all ages for a late mother’s day lunch. There was a lovely choice of food. We had the prestige menu. The service was great and the price very reasonable. We will definitely come again

Excellent food and service as always. We love this restaurant, the atmosphere is relaxed yet the staff are exceptionally professional. With the best moules marinière and Breton fish stew in the UK, this is a great taste of France in Birmingham!

Absolutely terrible. Waited 1hr and 15 mins for our mains. To then be told what we ordered had run out. Despite the table next to us (who ordered 30mins after us) having the duck, which we were told had ran out. No wait staff came over to explain or aplolgise and it wasn’t untill we went over to question where our food was we were told. When our food finally arrived it was dry and the potatoes were pretty much raw. Such a shame, as I’ve eaten in many cotes and always had a great experience.

Excellent service by host and waitress. Usual top quality food (breakfast). As alway a very welcoming friendly atmosphere in the Birmingham restaurant.

Food was excellent and service was consistent, given how busy the restaurant was. Staff were also able to accommodate us earlier than our booked table. Would recommend!

A very enjoyable meal, catching up with old friends. The lunch menu featured many of my favourites, the pork belly was especially good. We all enjoyed the wine and at no point did we feel rushed. Will certainly go back.

As was the case when we dined in January, a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Great service, great food; we will be back - sooner rather than later.

Everything was really nice. I’d never been here before and just looked online and saw it had a lot of positive reviews. All the reviews were well deserved and it was a really nice night. Would come back.

Food was great, or waiter was obviously new to the job, he did apologise for forgetting a few things but told us there was too much for him to remember, not really what we expected. He seemed to spend more time clearing, cleaning, and lighting candles, than serving customers. But great food!

High standard of cuisine with an authentic french taste, and a good range of dishes to choose from on the menu. Good service and lively atmosphere; a very enjoyable evening.

Good food, great service from reliable Côte! Have eaten in Brum and Salisbury branches and will continue to do so happily if they maintain their quality and value standards :) The staff at both are lovely, friendly and attentive without hovering! Thanks guys:)

Poor menu for valentines day compared to normal menu wasnt very impressive at all did actually consider leaving Was very expensive compared to normal menu wasnt value for money at all!

Fine food with great service at the right price. I recommend this bistro tucked away under the Maulbix. We will be enjoying this eatery again and again.

A very good time was had by all, the waitress was particularly delightful. the only criticism was the chef went a bit mad with the salt. However when I dine there again I will pass on my concerns to the waitress , so all good.

Fantastic as usual and great service from the staff who were all very attentive! Food was spot on and we all had a great night! The french onion soup was a personal favourite of the evening!

Luke was great, very friendly & food came really fast. Was checked on frequently but not too much. Managed to take us in even though we were an hour early for our booking.
