Couldn’t fault the food or the service really enjoyable evening

Nice food, good service and value for money. Booked through a Special Offer email and got free cocktails to start with. All dishes served promptly and were hot unlike a lot of places these days where warm food seems to be the norm. Have been to this branch of Coté a number of times over the years and always find it to be of a high standard.

There was great service with lovely staff, food was great and all came in very good timing; overall we had an amazing time. Would highly recommend to anyone!

On a very busy Saturday (Take That were in town!) we enjoyed a superb early evening dinner with such friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff. A thoroughly great experience. I wish we had a Cote in Torbay where we live. Thank you for a lovely evening x

Steak and pork were too dry and over cooked. For the quality,I should not be paying 15% for service charge.

We had a family celebration. It was an excellent experience at Cote in Birmingham - staff attentive and smiling even though 18 of us stayed for three and a half hours. The food was good and we were able to sit in a semi-private area.

Very quick initial service, if anything too eager to take our orders, After main then seemed to be ignore, did get desert, but would have enjoyed a coffee but not approaches Had to find staff to ask for the bill

Really enjoyed our visit. The service was polite and efficient and we both thought our meals were excellent. The price was reasonable. Quite noisy but in a nice way.

This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately we chose a very busy day and they had sold out of the meal that I had chosen online. However the food was excellent, above the standard that we had come to expect from restaurants in the locality. The white wine however could have been more chilled. The service was attentive and professional. We shall definitely eat there again.

Fennel inedible fish cold otherwise ok but mains let you down

The food, drinks and service were all excellent but I would prefer the service charge not to be added automatically to the bill so that I could choose what tip to leave.

Really enjoyed this place on 2 occasions. Good service and great food. However, I am not happy with a service charge being applied to my bill. I will always tip but not happy at being told how much. And I think 12.5% is too much.

Really tasty food especially the swordfish steak and the risotto. Desserts exceptional as always. welcome was very friendly and serving staff were very attentive at all times. Would definitely recommend if you haven't been before.

The Birmingham team made my 21st birthday so special, and the food was of course great. A big thank you to them! We will be coming back for my 22nd!!

We just ate at Cote Birmingham and the service was excellent. Arrived earlier than booking time but not a problem. Had complimentary rhubarb martinis. Yummy! Could choose own table and food arrived promptly and very hot. All delicious; fish stew, steak frites and duck breast were our choices. Choc mousse and fondant were divine. Prices reasonable. Recommend to all.

Excellent food and great service in a great Mailbox location

Lovely restaurant, friendly staff and delicious food. It was our wedding anniversary and the staff gave us a card, put flowers on the table and gave us a complimentary Kir Royale each, which was very thoughtful of them. The food was excellent, I didn’t know what to expect as we hadn’t visited a Côte Brasserie before, but the food was tasty, well cooked and presented and absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely come again next time we visit Birmingham.

Staff are always intentive and polite, you could as enough of them. The food is always magnificent, very tasty and there is a large choice of amazing dishes (I would recommend the Poulet Grillé). Definitely will be returning for a third time.

Orderd the Pork for my main, Not much flavour and the pork was over cooked. My starter and dessert was okay. Service was not the best waited along time for the table to be cleared in between courses, and for the bill especially when the restaurant was quiet and plenty of staff on duty.

My wife and I had a pre theatre meal and usual were not disappointed. Food was superb, as normal, and service and ambiance of the restaurant was even better.

A very enjoyable meal, catching up with old friends. The lunch menu featured many of my favourites, the pork belly was especially good. We all enjoyed the wine and at no point did we feel rushed. Will certainly go back.

Had a lovely lunch today to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Food and freebie wine were excellent, dessert was lovely too. Good that they change the menu each month. Will certainly be going again soon!

Nice location but embarassing service. 2 people, we took the most expensive valentine menus (2 x 38$). The aperitif didn't arrive before the starters, I had to ask for it,so we had the starters cold. We asked for some more bread and I have been charged for it (2$ over a 90$ bill). Also, I didn't appreciate the "optional" service automatically on my bill, I would have been happy to pay for it if you had asked.

Slight issue with confusion over meals ordered as there were two very similarly named -rump of lamb and lamb rump. We got the one not ordered but when we realised this was dealt with efficiently and to our satisfaction.

Enjoyed the food very much - asparagus really tasty. There were few people there so the atmosphere was a little too quiet. Prices are about right, perhaps slightly on the expensive side, but with the free rhubarb cocktail it was about the right balance.

Good food at reasonable price in a nice atmosphere delivered with really good service.

From the moment we entered the staff were so welcoming & friendly, nothing was too much! The food was absolutely out of this world and has exceeded all expectations! The dessert was particularly amazing and I cannot wait to return!
