Service and food excellent and always a warm welcome from the staff

Lovely food, great service - we were eating prior to going to a concert at the Town Hall and everything went very smoothly to have the pre theatre menu in plenty of time. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our meal. Good quality food, well presented and value for money. Friendly staff always help to make your eating experience so much better, the staff at Cote Brassiere certainly did that.

Very warm, friendly, attentive and professional service. Food was good value and very tasty although our medium stake was rare ( but we did not send it back when the offer was made because it was enjoyed). House wine good value. We regularly use the Prestige menu which we recommend.

Good to have a vegetarian menu but too many of the dishes contain wild mushrooms which I don't like.there are 2 egg dishes - poached and omelette - which are not special enough for a special occasion.so I would like to see more variety in your vegetarian dishes.

Really fantastic service, very friendly staff, the only issue we had was that the calamari was a little greasy and the chicken was lacking in seasoning.

Fabulous food, an extra member of staff for the allergy menus. A very attentive and welcoming manager. He took our coats and a photograph of all 8 of us seated. There was an offer on for a free cocktail which we really enjoyed. A big thank you to the manager (sorry I didn’t get your name) for making our girly catch up day so special. I would definitely go again.

We had the most amazing evening at Cote Brasserie, Mailbox, Birmingham on Saturday 15th February. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were met by friendly and warm staff, especially the manager who showed us to our table and talked us through the specials. The service was fantastic all evening, and the food was delicious! We can’t wait to visit another Cote restaurant soon! Huge thank you to the Team.

Worst Cote Brasserie! Always rated wherever they are in the country. Disappointing. Mussels were not fresh, or overcooked.

Whilst the food was good, I am highly offended and deeply upset. As a woman out with my boyfriend I was ignored all night. I booked the table, yet the maitre’d spoke to him when we walked in, and I gave my name and spoke to him, yet I was ignored and they asked my partner to follow him. I asked the waiter at the end for the bill, as I was treating my boyfriend for valentine’s, and they gave him the bill and said ‘for the gentleman’. I said ‘no, I asked for it’ and he said ‘oh but isn’t the gentleman going to pay’. It is 2020, I am HIGHLY offended and I feel I was treated in a sexist derogatory manner. I am a subscriber to the mailing list, I like Cote, but I won’t be going again.

We have been a few times now and it is always good, so much so when we know when we are going to a show we only book to eat here. Warm and cosy.

we are regular customers and cote never disappoints! loved everything about this visit and the rabbit terrine was exceptional

Food was excellent as usual. The big disappointment was paying extra for a pairing menu. They did not understand what pairing means. The starter came with the Kia royale apperit, the wine for the starter came while waiting for the main meal so had to drink two glasses of different wine with the main. No apologies given and nothing taken off the bill which I am surprised at since the extra I paid was a complete waste of time.

Love the setting and ambience. I'm gluten free and was impressed with the gluten free menu and the care that was taken with my food. It was all delicious especially the beef bourgignon! Will be back.

From greeting with Sola, through service with Ricardo, brilliant! The swordfish was superb! Always special to talk with other staff members who know that you are regulars, Florin and Luke. Cote is special when it comes to service.

We visited Côte Brassiere, Birmingham on Staurday 8th February 2020 to celebrate my 50th birthday with my closet friends and the whole evening was just perfect. I was greted by the host upon arrival with a glass of Kir Royale, a birthday card and some chocolate. Our food was beautifully presented and utterly delicious and the servers were very polite. We were probably rowdier than we should have been and I apologise for that... but we were celebrating. Thank to you the whole team for making my night a very special celebration.

I celebrated my 40th birthday at Cote. It was so lovely to have such attentive service. I printed off a list of everyone’s orders but didn’t need to as the waiters knew who’s food was whose by calling out our names. The little touches of decorating the table, birthday card and a complimentary kir royale was so nice. Thank you for making it a stress free evening.

For hen party; great food, wonderful service, extra touches. Amazing!
