Côte Bournemouth

Last minute decision so lucky to get a table....we saw people being turned away. My partner chose two of the specials for May and was very pleased with the scallops to start and lamb chops to follow (not sure about the Roquefort butter with the chops) and I had calamari to start followed by baked salmon on ratatouille - absolutely delicious. A bottle of wine, great service from the maitre D and a lovely Brazilian waitress. Perfect.

Fabulous lunch. Great service and help with my gluten free needs. Excellent wine. Quick service. Would definitely recommend and will return for another lunch or dinner.

Our waiter (should have got his name) was excellent - one of the best we've had in a long time. Food and coffees were also very good.

The staff were very friendly & not pushy with regards to ordering drinks & food. I was told the vegetarian option on the cheaper set menu was not available but I could substitute for a dish off the main menu. I actually went with the prestige set menu but was good to be told & offered an alternative It was busy so noisy with chatter which is great but the music was also loud so hard to understand the person I was sat opposite, I think the tables are too close to each other at the front However I enjoyed the food & will visit again

The set menus are good value but portions are quite small, and communication between the waiters and the kitchen could be better. We dislike the "optional" 12.5% service charge which appears on the bill that you have to ask to be removed if you want to make an alternative service payment.

We took friends for the first time and they were delighted. Food was excellant and good choice on the menu. and service very good. Will be going again.

The food and service were first class but the prices are astronomical, especially for the wine. The cheapest special menu is the best option price-wise for food although the choices are somewhat limited and the portions small. We had the next one up but my friend found there were insufficient vegetables with her salmon.

Great food and service as always. We had the weekend fixed price menu which is excellent value and ideal to have prior to a theatre performance or cinema trip

Excellent service and menu. We really enjoyed all aspects but found the staffs lack of tackling a loud and rowdy group of diners a shame.

Visited on Sunday for breakfast and had the Set Menu option, which was very good value. The drinks and food arrived quickly, was hot and very tasty. Staff were friendly and efficient. Left full and happy. Would like to return for lunch or dinner.

A very good experience at the Bournemouth Restaurant. Cheerful greeting on arrival and in response to our booking special request a table upstairs by a window had been allocated. Service and food excellent, with only one minor observation being that the hot chocolate sauce on the ice cream could perhaps have been a little hotter - it was still super though. Well done Cote, our best visit to this branch to date.

Great place Wonderful Staff our favourite place in Bournemouth. we have tried most of the things on the menu and found them all to be excellent.We will be back soon🙂

Mixed review...The butternut squash and crispy sage risotto tasted wonderful but was ruined by the fact that it had been microwaved to within an inch of its life and was therefore completely dry. The waitress was fierce and a little intimidating and I certainly didn't feel like challenging her. She needs to be more sincere and smile. She spoilt our lunch. The Confit of Duck was excellent but February's special side dish of potatoes was underwhelming. We will be back as Cote is one of our favourite lunch spots but will hope for a more friendly waitress.

Another good evening at Cote Bournemouth. Service was good with attentive staff and the food was to it's usual high standard. We appreciated the complimentary bottle of French merlot. Always a pleasure

We booked online and table ready on arrival, drinks ordered and promptly arrived. The service was great and the starters were served in good time and very tasty and equally the main were delicious. Overall the evening was great we would definitely recommend and we will be back. Thank you very much!!!

Cote Brasserie in Westover Road Bournemouth is a fantastic authentic french restaurant the ambience, decor, food, and service is impeccable. The best French food outside of Paris. I visited for my sister in laws birthday we were given a glass of Pink champagne on the house. We had olives and bread appetizer, gin & tonics, we chose the Prestige Lunch set menu 3 courses for £18.95 which is excellent value. I had french onion soup with gryere croutons. My sister had course pork pate terrine & apple sauce and French bread toasted. We order seafood linguine and Salmon for main and chocolate mousse for dessert which was the best chocolate dessert we've ever tasted so rich and just heaven with a glass of port. We had a wonderful waitress and the chef came out. We were not rushed and enjoyed a leisurely afternoon enjoying the ambience. Thank you to all the staff for making it such a memorable day. I've eaten here often and never had a bad meal. The staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. Very good value for money! Looking forward to my next visit already!

You really can't find fault with anything at Cote. The service is fantastic, the food beyond excellent, the atmosphere wonderful. I will be going back again tomorrow!

The menu had a range of dishes available at reasonable prices. We had asked for an accessible table and all our needs were catered for. Staff were very attentive and courteous. The food was delicious, service was excellent. Perhaps the only gripe: in Grance bread is put on the table without exception, why in a French restaurant did this not happen? We had to pay for bread, a pity.

Brilliant service. Great food! Lovely atmosphere 🙂 made our entire trip. Our waiter was lovely, and deserves more pay! As do all people in hospitality!

Same familiar scene at a Cote restaurant - first time on a Sunday evening. Very quiet. Who dictates that 25 words is a mimimum ???

A bit rushed, some dishes were dried up- left under a heat lamp? The waiter was excellent but the 12.5% service charge is a bit outrageous. It’s discretionary but it’s automatically added to the bill. We asked to have it reduced, as it was £16 for an average meal that was over in an hour!

The staff were absolutely lovely. It was our wedding anniversary and we were presented with two glasses of kir royale on arrival and a lovely dessert with happy anniversary on..It's those small touches that make a night so special. Thank you so much!!!!!

Wonderful- consistently great tasty food. Brilliant service. We cannot wait to come back. Such a relaxing place to come and a real treat after having spent a few months in Bournemouth Hospital for my husbands cancer treatment.

This was our first visit so we qualified for a complimentary bottle of wine. Both starters were delicious and the fish parmentier main course also hit the spot. I found the swordfish sauce too salty but the actual meat excellent. The wine list needs a house wine around £ 16.00 I will return.

Food was delicious and service was quick. Food looked gorgeous as well as tasting so, and the wide range of drinks made for quite a decision!

My Mothers Birthday, no free drink, no mention of her birthday. Rushed service, way overpriced. Advertised at £18.95 total cost £95 including a £11 service charge!! Previous visit was excellent. Very very disappointed.

Staff were excellent. Polite, prompt and accommodating. We know chain, and meal was all good and of nice quality, although my steak was cold. House red was excellent.

As always the staff were welcoming courteous and attentive. The food choices varied, we like the set menu for its seasonally and of course value and a pleasant experience at lunch time which is what we prefer.

We enjoyed our meal at Cote Bournemouth,it was an early supper after a trip to the cinema. The food was excellent, well cooked and beautifully presented especially the sea bass fillets.

Another lovely pre theatre meal, with an excellent french cocktail to start. The sea bass was perfectly cooked and we love the gratin potatoes and the creme caramel.

Lovely presentation and delicious food. Staff were excellent, helpful and friendly throughout. Very happy with all our meals, drinks and the price paid. Would happily recommend Cote to others.
