I had a great time here. Not only did they hold my table for me despite my party being 45 minutes late, but they even gave me the full bottle of champagne too. Thank you so much. My friends and I had a great time.

Really good - food, service, decor and ambience all excellent. Tuna cooked to perfection and the fish soup was to die for! This was my first visit - it certainly won't be my last.

Pleasant staff, good food, nice layout and ambience. Very good value for money and in an excellent location. A little more buzz upstairs than down, which is great as it gives you the choice. What not to like!

The usual excellent service you expect to receive at Cote from the minute you arrive until the moment you leave. I shall return very soon.

The food was good, and the service prompt and attentive. Slightly put off by seeing a rat run along the balcony as we were eating. Thankfully the doors were shut!

Will always choose a Cote restaurant especially in a town we are not familiar with because we know we will always receive the same excellent service and food.

First time in Cote Brasserie. The restaurant has a great old Parisian style decor, with an excellent menu. The food did not disappoint, and great service. We will be back. A great addition to Bournemouth .

Some bread not available. Service good, only had a main course which was fine, wine bottle had cork so not easy to transport remnants of a bottle home. Noisy because busy and wooden floor, and breezy near entrance

Enjoyed new Bournemouth Cote, great ambience and friendly service. Very convenient for conference centre and hotels. Menu and wine list gave good choice and my calamares and chicken were excellent.

Very good service, nice table upstairs, great choice on the menu, wine list excellent, and the most fantastic Pavlova!" The Moules were a good 'sharing' plate, I had the Duck breast, and my friend had the Pork belly, both dishes were excellent, followed by the Pavlova. We had a couple of bottles of an excellent white wine. Thoroughly recommend Cote Brasserie. P.S. This was our first visit.

The positives: Friendly staff Food very tasty and piping hot, which I really like. Negatives: Waitress too quick to ask about drinks and reel off the menus to us before i'd even taken my jacket off, ensured my handbag was in a safe spot and just generally settled down. Restaurant wasn't hectic busy. Felt rushed for no apparent reason. The biggest negative: portion size was too small for me. From the a la carte menu, the prawn starter in a spicy sauce only had 4 prawns and really needed a bread roll to soak up the lovely sauce. The main course, fish casserole, was what I would call a lunch-sized portion and not a replacement for the dinner I'd have had at home had I not decided to eat out. No vegetables included. One felt every morsel was measured to within an inch of its life and this really would put me off ever going again because i can't really find any good reason to and don't like leaving a restaurant feeling hungry. I'm a slight female - so can't imaging what a hungry, strapping man would have made of it.

Excellent service and good food. A great addition to local amenities, a New York visitor was also most impressed with the menu and service. Thank you for making our day.

Lovely atmosphere and relaxed environment. Kitchen staff held up with our food on a tray waiting for a waitress though. Stood right by our table. Happened with both starter and main meaning food got a little cold

Great Gluten Free menu with lots of choice. Great service, reasonably priced. Very happy. Service charge is automatically added, but our server specifically asked if we were happy to pay it, which was nice.

Having been the night before I knew what to expect. The food was equally as good as before and the staff, although different this time, were just as friendly. Strongly recommended

Breakfast was excellent but it always feels that behind the scenes is barely controlled chaos. The restaurant wasn't so busy but the staff appear stressed. I know the place is quite new and everyone is trying to make a good impression but (breathe) and turn the intensity down a couple of notches

Good food and ambience, only down side is it that it all came out so quickly that it felt a bit rushed. As it was a birthday celebration it would have been nice to enjoy a gap between each course so as to make the most of the evening.

Food was excellent apart from the sweets. We had chosen apple and citron tarts, filling was fine but pastry was soft and doughy. On commenting on this we were told they are made in London and sent down every day ,no wonder they tasted funny. Staff were efficient and pleasant and the restaurant is of a standard that Bournemouth is sadly lacking.

With a warm welcome and attentive, but not intrusive, service this was a restaurant visit delivering good quality in it's excellent choice of food and wine. Cote's branch in Bournemouth is the most comfortable and spacious of all the group's restaurants that we have visited and this made for a relaxed and enjoyable evening out. This is certainly a place to which we intend to return.

The food was good but the training of the staff leaves a lot to be desired. There seemed to be a general air of confusion which led to one tray of dishes being turned away which were obviously destined for another table and then the wrong chicken dish being served. The waitresses served food across and in front of customers rather than walking around the table and serving from behind. That really is not acceptable. Although nothing to do with training one waitress obviously had under arm perspiration problems. It is not a good sight on a light blue blouse. We like Cote Brasserie and the Salisbury restaurant is excellent. I know Bournemouth is relatively newly opened but it does need to improve. The premises are attractive so we will return hoping for a better experience.

Was not that impressed with the Food on the set menu. No potatoes with my fish and very simplistic pudding menu. Service was okay but I have had better meals for less money. Sting in tail is the 12.5% service charge.

Third visit to Cote Brasserie. Booked on line no issues on a very busy evening first day of the Air Show. Very fast service had the £27 set 3 course anniversary menu including glass of champagne. Crab starter with avocado delicious and very subtle. Sea Bass main with a fantastic sauce and roasted fennel. Then the best Creme Caramel I have ever tasted. Will be going again, think we are very lucky to have this restaurant in Bournemouth.
