Pity it takes so long to actually book a table ...all that irritating info and dire music. After visiting today tried to ring to ask about Reading glasses left behind but gave up trying after waiting and waiting , just too difficult .(found them afterwards luckily )

Little bit disappointed with the Grand Marnier crepes suzette. Despite the waiter’s best efforts, there was no flaming of the Grand Marnier, so: cold crepes, cold ice cream and cold Grand Marnier

Always very genuine and attentive service - tasty food and a pleasant environment - hard to beat - I don't know why some folks go to The Ivy - overpriced, limited menu and too showy

We always get a warm welcome and the service and food are excellent.

Excellent food & service in a bright & buzzy setting

Visited Clifton Cote with my partner and 18 month old daughter for lunch. The Chateaubriand from the specials menu was delicious and cooked to perfection. We also tried the seasonal fig cocktails, they were very tasty. The staff were polite and attentive. We visit regularly and the food and service are alway top notch.

Our meals were very good. The service was excellent. There were six of us this evening and we all agree we felt safe at all times. The staff treated us very well and we needed for nothing.

A wonderful meal and great service. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. The Filet Steak was quite heavily salted (but not too in excess) and tables were sticky (we assumed because of sanitiser wipe). Other than that your espresso Martini’s were wonderful!

Lovely food and wine, cosy atmosphere, lovely decor and covid friendly. Ideal that we could have lunch and our teenage son could have brunch!

Restaurant was to hot, and my date was rubbish. Food was nice though

Always a nice ambiance in Cote with reliably good food and good service.

We normally go here to eat, the food always tastes great. This time we went on a weekend, it was very pleasant and the service was excellent too. The overall experience was brilliant, I will recommend to everyone, so they can experience the food as I have.

Fantastic lunch, food as great as ever and the table distances made the whole experience wonderful, thank you to all the staff for making an anniversary lunch feel safe and very special.

Yet again a lovely experience! Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food, as always, was absolutely delicious! Can't wait for the restaurant to start opening again for breakfast, as it was one of our favourite things to do.

Great atmosphere and food.....just a little disappointed that the vegetarian options are limited and I don't think there were any vegan options.

Relaxed Sunday brunch for 6 people to celebrate our anniversary

Really good choice of food, well cooked and served hot on hot plates. Very helpful staff who know how to treat customers. A pleasure to eat here. Dealt with COVID-19 restrictions very well. 5 stars as always..despite the Covid issues..a superb experience, excellent food and service

I booked a table for 4 people. Three main courses were brought to the table and I had to chase twice for my Wife’s dish which arrived when we had nearly finished our courses.... it was only a fig salad so no cooking involved just preparation. It’s such a shame that a basic requirement of bringing the food at the same time wasn’t executed.

Great food, and service, as always. The chef very kindly made one of the main courses into a vegan meal for one of our party.

The food & service were to the same high standard as is usual at Cote. However, it didn’t feel covid secure. We were seated at a table in the main area, which seemed to me too busy, with a couple either side. There was a metre at most between tables, not the two metres there should be. The tables themselves are very small, so we were far too close to others. I am in the extremely vulnerable group & for this reason won’t be coming back whilst covid is ongoing. Other restaurants I’ve eaten in since lockdown have properly spaced tables.

Had the chateaubriand wasn’t their usual outstanding quality. A little disappointing

Hi, Very disappointed with quality of food , Haddock special was dry chewy and obviously the pre made dish had been blasted in a microwave as the potatoes and spinach were ridiculously hot. We felt rushed throughout our evening made to order dessert before receiving main course . Starter of onion soup also had been microwave The saucisson still had the skin on. Overall not a very good experience for nearly £90 for 2 people and very disappointed especially after having some recent good experiences. Really lovely October menu and excellent service from our lovely waitress. Yet again another excellent dining experience from Cote Bristol even during difficult times. Adequate social distancing of tables, all staff wearing face masks and signage regarding face marks clearly displayed along with the NHS track and traces app details.

A lovely bustling atmosphere- within Covid guidelines of course. Food was perfect and service excellent - we were looked after by Sammy. Our second visit in 2 weeks - we were visiting from Cheshire. Looking forward to returning to Cote

We had an absolutely wonderful meal this lunchtime. As it was our anniversary, the staff surprised us with complimentary glasses of champagne. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious.we can’t wait to come again! Thank you to all the staff.
