Côte Bristol Clifton Village

A delicious meal served by the friendly and welcoming team at Cote. A great atmosphere in the restaurant this evening.

Good to have a weekend breakfast available again but sad that Cote feel it necessary to remove their all includive breakfast and now charge for each individual item. I appreciate that this has been a difficult time for restaurants but it has also been difficult for many of Cotes regular customers, who now find that they are having to pay more. The service this morning was also far less smooth than normal and the quality of the food questionable, i.e. the bacon was quite dry and had obviously been cooked and kept warm for some time. The fried eggs were also slightly congealed, again probably cooked and then kept warm, which meant that the yoke were not runny. We are regular customers and looked forward to breakfasts being served again; we were quite disappointed. Few supervisors around so difficult to share our concerns at the time.

unfortunately you have NO still bottled water to buy at your clifton branch , we ordered G&Tonic they came with no stirrer we did ask for one but nothing appeared, one of the desserts we ordered was ice cream with a coffee poured over ,we had to wait a good 5 mins before coffee arrived and only after we prompted our waiter food was good ,

Usually enjoy our meals and service at Cote, but today was disappointing - the steak was tough and gristly - The cost was taken from the bill and for that we are grateful.

It was my daughter’s 18th we had a lovely meal , she was given a birthday pudding which was a lovely touch as a family we really like eating in your restaurant and we will return again .

Service was very slow compared to normal. Food wasn’t as ordered. Staff stressed and overworked. Shame as really enjoy eating at Cote

The food and service were great as always. Recommend french onion soup, fish stew and crepe brûlée.

Excellent service! When we arrived we were greeted and looked after so amazingly. It was booked for a birthday and they gave us complimentary birthday fizz and a Happy Birthday dessert which topped the night. Can’t fault Staff, the whole experience and the delicious food. Can’t wait to come back!

Service and food not great ......... shame as have had a great couple of meal over the last few weeks Bit understand we all have our off days !

Delighted to have one of our favourite restaurants re-open and still be such a fabulous evening. The mood, not dampened by the clear measures put in place to keep us all safe, remained cosy and relaxed. The service, efficient and friendly. We’re big fans of cote. Our dinner last night was a disappointment Our choice of main course and desert was unavoidable- even Pino Noir had run out As a nice gesture we we’re gIven 2 glasses of sparkling wine However when settling the bill these had been charged to us - I think Cote should do better than this

Good to be back in the restaurant, very good service and I felt safe. Just one suggestion please provide hand sanitiser either on the tables or at the entrance. Hopefully you will be able to extend the menu soon. Really liked the complimentary cocktail for booking.

Excellent lunch. Good hygiene and distancing. Efficient and friendly service, plenty of choice on the menu and good quality brasserie food. A hand-sanitiser at the entrance would be helpful.

Lovely service as usual and on the whole good food. Sea Bass was very much overcooked and dry. But it was taken off the bill without fuss. However, we did feel there were no changes whatsoever to the seating arrangements. In the light of covid we feel this is a mistake. For much of our meal we were alone, but as restaurant got busier thevtwo tables next to us became occupied. We could all have reached out easily and touched the person next to us.and this was the case on many of the tables. We would not return while this is the case. Shame because we always enjoy coming to Cote.
