As a veggie It was lovely to have a choice on the veggie menu as I am normally lucky if there are 2 options, the food was different and very tasty. We were not rushed and had plenty of time to catch up with friends news as we made our selections - we have booked our next meal as we were so impressed

They have a great menu,it was hard to choose. Everyone really enjoyed everything they ate, good value for money and we all said we will definitely return soon.

Lovely Mothers Day meal with the Family, good food and good company, more bread please as one piece is not enough. especially good for lunch as a break while shopping

Very tasty dishes and overall good value. Excellent Corbieres rose wine. Service good. It would be nice to have a small portion of bread offered with the salad starter - perhaps on request. The £2.50 basket only makes sense if two people share. Bread is always offered as part of the couvert in France.

My husband and I have dined in Cote many times and usually have no complaints at all, today though we had to send the bill back twice, the first time we noticed we had been charged for a complimentary bottle of wine and when it was brought to us again we were charged for an extra main meal we had not ordered, there was no problem when we queried it but had we not checked the bill we would of been over charged by about £35. Not impressed. Not up to the usual standard! No complaints about our meal though.

Only offered Chardonnay or Merlot not the advertised “complementary”wine, eventually settled for a wine £6 cheaper in value. Subsequent tables were offered the correct wine. Although very quiet, service was very patchy, had to ask for plates to be cleared and delay in offering desserts. Special...Herbed poussin very dry and too many peppers in dish.

First time at Quakers Friar Cote , the food was excellent. Good varied menu. As a vegetarian the veggie options were delicious. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful with the menu and wines. Atmosphere was great, exactly what you would expect from a Cote restaurant. They never fail to live up to expectations.

Service was great, the food was amazing we had the pork and steak loved it!! Wood definitely return thank you! It was perfect for a special evening! Loved the blood orange martini!

I went to Cote Brasserie for my birthday lunch and my waitress Julia was lovely. She made me feel extra special, with complementy drinks and a dessert. The food was amazing, I will definitely be back.

An excellent meal with very attentive, but not intrusive, service. We only come to Bristol once a year but a meal at Cote is becoming a fixture of our annual visit.

Good food, friendly staff. all at a fair price. (the only exception being drinks) Will do it again. I booked a table online although it wasn't busy on a Tuesday evening. We all enjoyed it.

Had the set Valentine’s Day menu which was really good. The food came out really quickly and so did the wine that came with it. Bonus points for putting a rose and candle on the table which I had asked for when booking online on the off chance. Only negative was we were sat near the entrance and it was quite cold.

I always enjoy my meals at Cote, either the Clifton or Quakers Friars sites. The food is consistently good and the service is friendly and competent. If anyone asked me to recommend a restaurant in Bristol I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cote.

The service was brilliant from the moment we walked in. The staff were very friendly and just lovely. The food can only have one word......INCREDIBLE! We will definitely be returning soon.

Brilliant dinner with friends on a weekday evening. Ate from the Prestige menu. I am a vegetarian and a couple of choices were available on this special menu. Super waiter with a good sense of humour. No buzz in the place, we were the only guests as evening progressed. That’s the only slight negative. Would definitely recommend.

Good food and a nice atmosphere- meet-up of old school friends so we had lots to catch up on and took a while. We never felt rushed and with the offer, we had a free G&T with each main course. It was quite an expensive ‘lunch’ but the food was was very good. Some mains (even those at £16.95) needed additional sides though. Would definitely go back though.

Great food and atmosphere, but I am a bit annoyed with the staff for presenting us with 3 Kier Royales - they knew one of us had a birthday cos I put a note when I reserved a table- but they then put the 3 drinks on the bill. I did not request the drinks, they brought them over without us asking for them! I did not query this as I am obviously not going to do this in front of the birthday girl!

Overall the food and atmosphere was lovely. Unfortunately ruined by the rudeness of the waiter. Was ordering potato side with main dish but informed there was a fennel and potato mash so i changed my side choice. When the food came out, i politely told the waiter that theres no potato included and he admitted his error. I asked if i could change my veg side to the potato that i had originally ordered however he walked off with a huff (very rudely) before i had finished speaking. Also had rudeness regarding extra copy of the bill. Overall service has put me off wanting to return.

Lovely food and excellent vegetarian choices, nice to have a dedicated menu. Service generally good although a bit slow when it comes to paying the bill. Unfortunately visit slightly marred by some very loud customers at the table next to us, hard to hear what each other were saying. But that's not the restaurant's fault!

Good service and excellent food at an acceptable price. The restaurant was less than half full and lacking atmosphere. Will be back for or. M o 're when the weather is warmer.

The food and service was as good as usual. The only niggle was a very loud American woman sitting a few tables away, very distracting. Not something you could do anything about probably.

As ever we had an excellent 3 course meal and drinks served by helpful stafff in a pleasant setting with no background music so could talk to each other.

Really lovely staff who were attentive but unobtrusive. My mum was running late but they sorted some wine out for me while i waited and were generally just lush. Food was delicious and v timely. Overall would def recommend and would go again.

We chose cote brasserie for an early valentines meal and were very pleased with our choice. We had a very warm and friendly welcome and superb service from the off. The food was hot, beautifully presented and delicious, served by a team who couldn't do enough to ensure we had a good time. The courses were served promptly and empty dishes were quickly cleared. Lovely ambience and good food in a lovely setting in the centre of Bristol. The set menu is excellent value for money although I wish the desert options could be more varied as they always seem to be the same.

I am very pleased when I booked a table for me and my friend on Saturday 23rd of March to do my bridal proposal and groomans. We had a lovely time and after I requested they actually gave us the most spacious space on the corner. Thank you for giving us a complementary drinks my friend was very pleased with the service and they all love their food. My other friend food didnt come on time and we were waiting for 10 minutes. One of the lady come to us and apologies and act quickly to offer my friend a discount. We do appreciate the excellent customer service. Thank you for making my dinner with my friends so special. I will definitely recommend this restaurant.
