Been here many times and the service is usually amazing, however today was disappointing and below the expected standard. Hopefully the next visit will be back to normal.

How do they do it ? Such a wide selection of Menus and still never a disappointment after two years of regular dining at Cote. Bristol staff so friendly and attentive. Breton Soup is outstanding. Please don't change anything.

Cote Brasserie was lovely. Never having been before myself and friends were very impressed. Nice friendly staff, very attentive and the food was excellent. Nice swift service but not rushed. Will definately visit again and would recommend to anyone.

We enjoyed our meal very much. We were treated courteously by all the staff, from the very friendly woman who was very pleasant and welcoming, to the waiter at our table. The restaurant was very busy but we didn't feel that were rushed or ignored. We have been to this restaurant several times and have been treated exactly the same every time.

Great food, good service even during a busy day on Mother’s Day! Surely enjoyed our dinner here and will be coming back again soon! The chicken and walnut salad was fantastic, the calamari was lovely and the rest of the food was great too.

My husband and I have dined in Cote many times and usually have no complaints at all, today though we had to send the bill back twice, the first time we noticed we had been charged for a complimentary bottle of wine and when it was brought to us again we were charged for an extra main meal we had not ordered, there was no problem when we queried it but had we not checked the bill we would of been over charged by about £35. Not impressed. Not up to the usual standard! No complaints about our meal though.

I come to Côte every year for my birthday and without fail they always deliver the best experience, from their dinner service to the quality of food is amazing, the steak tartare is a dream!!

Only offered Chardonnay or Merlot not the advertised “complementary”wine, eventually settled for a wine £6 cheaper in value. Subsequent tables were offered the correct wine. Although very quiet, service was very patchy, had to ask for plates to be cleared and delay in offering desserts. Special...Herbed poussin very dry and too many peppers in dish.

First time at Quakers Friar Cote , the food was excellent. Good varied menu. As a vegetarian the veggie options were delicious. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful with the menu and wines. Atmosphere was great, exactly what you would expect from a Cote restaurant. They never fail to live up to expectations.

Fantastic food and great ambience. Will definitely be returning for their steak. Highly recommend to anyone who fancies french cuisine. Me and my partner loved it

It was lovely dinner out with my best friend and my boyfriend. As it was my 40th birthday, I was kind of promised ( when booking my table over the phone earlier ) that we will receive a cocktail for free, which would have been perfect. When we had arrived, we were asked if we would like our cocktail, but I said that we will wait for my boyfriend to arrive and then we will. However, when my boyfriend arrived, we were not asked ever again. Did not receive any complimentary drinks at all. Would have been lovely, as that would be the perfect cherry on the cake. That has however not ruined our fabulous evening dining, and I love coming back to Cote restaurant. I am a vegan and they never disappoint me, always accommodate. Food is absolutely delicious, it is my and my boyfriend`s favorite place to dine. And we will keep coming back.

I went to Cote Brasserie for my birthday lunch and my waitress Julia was lovely. She made me feel extra special, with complementy drinks and a dessert. The food was amazing, I will definitely be back.

Lovely staff and beautiful atmosphere, the food was cooked to perfection and served at a good temperature. The setting was perfect and quaint compared to the busy streets of Bristol. Would highly recommend

From the minute of entering the restaurant we were welcomed, The staff are fantastic and food amazing. The young lady that served our table is very knowledgeable an asset to your restaurant. Great location, good layout plenty of room to move around. Champagne excellent thank you for making my grandsons 21st birthday so special he didn’t want a fuss discretion was paramount for him to enjoy a wonderful evening.

We always enjoy our visits to Cote. On this occasion our favourite dish, the duck, was not cooked pink and the slices were small and rather dry. We have had this dish so many times in Bristol, Cardiff and Bath so it's a shame when for once it's not right.

Beautiful meal and lovely children’s menu. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely return. Children loved the chocolate fondant desserts. Pleasantly surprised with it being a chain restaurant.

Cotes restaurant served us High quality products with unique tastes. Everything was priced sensibly, with something for all tastes. Good range of beverages and quality cocktails.

Food was good but the service was really slow. We sat down at 12.30 the starters did not areive until 13.10 and the overall meal was completed at 15.05.

Some really good and reasonable priced food, combined with a genuine warm welcome and great service from the guys at Cote Brasserie in Bristol Quakers Friars.

Good food, friendly staff. all at a fair price. (the only exception being drinks) Will do it again. I booked a table online although it wasn't busy on a Tuesday evening. We all enjoyed it.

4 of us had a pleasant evening but one main course came with the chicken as good as raw... not impressed but the meal was exchanged straight away & the cost of the main course deducted from our bill...

So reliably good. Lovely staff. Fabulous food. Relaxed welcoming atmosphere....and all at such reasonable prices. I eat there regularly,but tonight took a friend new to Bristol. He was impressed and will be back.
