Lunch today (14th Feb 2019) for my Wife and I for our first visit to Cote Brasserie, Quackers Friars, Bristol, on the 45th anniversary of our first date. Starters of Moules Mariniere and Crab Mayonnaise with Sourdough toasted bread were lovely and the Mains of Lamb Rump and Duck breast were sublime. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, ensuring that all tables were attended to regularly and efficiently. We will definitely visit again. Graham & Diane Mills

It was overall excellent and service was excellent in no way intrusive. Disappointing that the free wine was added to the bill.

Great service. Portion size was just right. Food quality was good. Steak was cooked ecsctly as my wife asked for. Wine list extensive. Perhaps cocktails as an option would be the only thing I would add.

We first visited a Cote brasserie in Weybridge & loved it so we thought we would give the Bristol branch a visit & we were equally delighted. The food was great & service first class - thourouly recommend you visit if in the city.

By far my favourite restaurant in Bristol, and probably the UK! The staff and manager Kat made this a birthday lunch to remember.

The set menus offer good value and the changing specials are often tempting though we didn't order this time. The restaurant is well presented, there is a good atmosphere and the service was just about right.

My husband and I have dined in Cote many times and usually have no complaints at all, today though we had to send the bill back twice, the first time we noticed we had been charged for a complimentary bottle of wine and when it was brought to us again we were charged for an extra main meal we had not ordered, there was no problem when we queried it but had we not checked the bill we would of been over charged by about £35. Not impressed. Not up to the usual standard! No complaints about our meal though.

First time at Quakers Friar Cote , the food was excellent. Good varied menu. As a vegetarian the veggie options were delicious. Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful with the menu and wines. Atmosphere was great, exactly what you would expect from a Cote restaurant. They never fail to live up to expectations.

Great food and service. Had a great afternoon in the sun and we were not rushed.

Really lovely meal lots of choice. We had the set menu which was excellent value and quality. Staff were very attentive as well. We will be back!

Good food, friendly staff. all at a fair price. (the only exception being drinks) Will do it again. I booked a table online although it wasn't busy on a Tuesday evening. We all enjoyed it.

The meal of pork, with cabbage and cheesey potatoes, was delicious. The cocktail of the month was very refreshing, so another was ordered!! The service was excellent and the staff friendly. Will definitely visit again soon.

Warm welcome; lovely staff who readily moved us to an alternative table because the first was under the airconditioning unit. Very tasty and enjoyable meal.

The service felt rushed, our starter plates hadn't been cleared and our mains were upon us. We only booked here because we had such a nice meal at the Gloucester Quays branch; my wife had the salmon again, this time it was quite overcooked. I had the Breton fish stew, unlike the last time the potatoes were undercooked as was the leek, there was an abundance of vegetables in the sauce that werent there previously. Also, the prawns were over cooked and tough, there were clam shells , but no sign of calms. I general ate very little and informed the service staff of my disappointment.

The service was brilliant from the moment we walked in. The staff were very friendly and just lovely. The food can only have one word......INCREDIBLE! We will definitely be returning soon.

Very helpful with gluten free and dairy intolerances. Servers were all very friendly and helpful. Complementary fizz for birthday celebrations was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely atmosphere and lovely food. Wines by the glass were a bit disappointing but the bottle of Viognier we ordered was very nice.

Great food and atmosphere, but I am a bit annoyed with the staff for presenting us with 3 Kier Royales - they knew one of us had a birthday cos I put a note when I reserved a table- but they then put the 3 drinks on the bill. I did not request the drinks, they brought them over without us asking for them! I did not query this as I am obviously not going to do this in front of the birthday girl!

The food and service was as good as usual. The only niggle was a very loud American woman sitting a few tables away, very distracting. Not something you could do anything about probably.

Love this place, staff very friendly, service excellent, food delicious. Sometimes things might go wrong, but these guys go out of there way to put it right....had a lovely mother’s dsy brunch with my sons. Thank you Côte 😊

We have been dining at Côte since 2011 and never had a bad meal. This evening was no exception; prompt service and well flavoured food.

As ever we had an excellent 3 course meal and drinks served by helpful stafff in a pleasant setting with no background music so could talk to each other.

Sadly let down by the staff. We were asked if we wanted more drinks and the ones we ordered weren’t even served yet. Then waited 20 minutes for bill so finally got up to pay.

We loved the starters and it came out very quickly however the main course was Luke warm and we ate it as we couldn’t wait for it to be warmed up but told the waiter.. It was resolved by our desserts taken off the final bill..

A very enjoyable breakfast. We were a party of 6 and everyone was very impressed with the standard. The only thing a couple of us would have preferred was to have our hot drink served after the food rather than before. We didn't think to request this but will do so next time.

We chose cote brasserie for an early valentines meal and were very pleased with our choice. We had a very warm and friendly welcome and superb service from the off. The food was hot, beautifully presented and delicious, served by a team who couldn't do enough to ensure we had a good time. The courses were served promptly and empty dishes were quickly cleared. Will definitely be recommending and coming back. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Lovely ambience and good food in a lovely setting in the centre of Bristol. The set menu is excellent value for money although I wish the desert options could be more varied as they always seem to be the same.

I am very pleased when I booked a table for me and my friend on Saturday 23rd of March to do my bridal proposal and groomans. We had a lovely time and after I requested they actually gave us the most spacious space on the corner. Thank you for giving us a complementary drinks my friend was very pleased with the service and they all love their food. My other friend food didnt come on time and we were waiting for 10 minutes. One of the lady come to us and apologies and act quickly to offer my friend a discount. We do appreciate the excellent customer service. Thank you for making my dinner with my friends so special. I will definitely recommend this restaurant.
